Food was ok , unfortunately the hot chocolate didnt have much taste so was disapointing. Service wasnt good ,some of the staff were trying to work so quickly they were spilling drinks over the floor , cleaning with paper towel and not washing hands afterwards..staff not very friendly..wouldnt go back in there..

I had booked a day off to have a long weekend, the weather was sunny and we decided to visit Burgh Castle for the first time. We booked at The Queen's Head for lunch for the two of us and will definitely be back! The pub itself is clean, well laid out with good solid furniture and plenty of room. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious and very good value - generous portions - I had the chicken and mushroom pie and my husband had the ham, eggs and mash. His diet is very limited due to a lot of food allergies, so happily he would be glad to eat that dish every time!

Fabulous pub/restaurant. Great menu choice, good value, very friendly staff that accommodated us for late lunch. Parking available and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. A true gem.

Very disappointed with trying this place for the first time and was really looking forward to it but will not be returning again. Booked a table for 6 in advance and arrived the 4 of us to be told they couldn’t find our booking. It then took them 10-15 mins to figure out 2 people in our party had already arrived and they had already checked the table in and therefore couldn’t find the booking. The person who we initially spoke to was rude and did not even apologise for making us think we had made up the booking and he even found it funny which we didn’t. Service extremely slow, food very average , lack of attention to detail as only 3 water glasses laid out for the 6 of us and no teaspoons provided with latte we ordered. Don’t waste your money on this place if you like very average over priced , slow and non existent service

We came here for Sunday lunch as a family group of 12, and the whole experience was excellent. The roast dinners were really delicious, and great value for money (£15.95 each). The pub has a lovely friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and the service was excellent. We were served by Lucy and Violet and they were delightful, and extremely organised. Would definitely recommend a visit, and we'll be back again soon.

A huge thanks to Emily at the Harford Bridge Costa who helped me out when I had a dizzy spell and got my coffee for me. I also saw her helping a family with young children and one had spilt their drink everywhere, she was very calm and kind. These things make all the difference. I'm fairly regular and I've always found the staff to be helpful but this was above and beyond

Stopping over in Diss for lunch on the way to the Suffolk coast, came across this cafe, looked inviting enough, with spaces inside. Coffee was very good - cappucchino and americano, and the New Yorker sandwich was wholesome tasty and very satisfying. Friendly service noted. Recommended!

We came across this place at the weekend for a last minute stay. We were very happy to find it, it is one of the friendliest and most welcoming places we have ever stayed. Our little dog was also made very welcome, with treats and meals offered. The service was exceptional. We were offered a complimentary cream tea on arrival, we had an evening meal and a delicious breakfast and everything was delicious. We would definitely recommend the White Hart and will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.
