Great Costa, helpful and friendly staff, quick service. Great quality food

This is a really good Costa and the staff are helpful and cheerful. My husband and I enjoy popping in for a drink and snack. Our only complaint is when it’s sunny the restaurant area is flooded with very hot, blinding sun which is quite unbearable unless we manage to find a shady bit!!! Please Costa can you fit some blinds up to shade us??

This Costa is based in the Next shop in Longwater. Friendly efficient staff and good selection of food. I have come to expect a delicious coffee at all main Costa branches. However the coffee today was somewhat eyebrow raising, as it was not delicious, indeed was a big disappointment. No deep yummy chewy taste, but wishee washee. I did not complain at the time as I’m generally told by my family that I’m a grumpy negative old man and I’ve started to believe them ! Maybe I was one shot short ? Anyway didn’t like it half as much a normal.

Everytime I visit here the wait is ridiculous! With only 2 people in front of me I queued 20 mins! Came in once with 6 people in queue and waited 45 mins! Every single time the wait it crazy long. Great if you like waiting so long for your drink!

Too long wait. Two people employed in busy Costa retail outlet. Hence they can't cope. Long queues. Slow. Unclean tables. Chaos. Staff too slow as well.

I visited here on my own for a takeaway drink and a gift voucher. I have been before. The car park is HUGE as it is shared by the entire retail park. I didn't struggle to find a space at all. I wanted to buy a gift voucher and staff showed me the design choices and explained how they worked. I also bought a coffee to take with me. They have an app where you can collect 'beans'. You get a bean per drink (two if you use your own cup) and get a free drink for every eight beans collected. My drink was made quickly and I was soon on my way. The service was friendly and I would happily go here again.

Not dog friendly despite it being on Costas website. Not impressed

Visited the Costa in Next at Longwater, Costessey and was served by Georgia who was extremely helpful and provided indepth detail on the alternatives available to me. Well done, extremely happy with the service given and drinks made and will visit again

I found a small spider in my coffee and it also tasted strange. This is the first time I've had a bad experience with costa 😭

Consistently good coffee and cakes, sandwiches are nice too. Good location right in the middle of the longwater car park, as you'll always find a space somewhere. Currently takeaway only but that may change very soon (Pandemic May '21), so nowhere to drink coffee unless you walk with it or sit in your car. Lost a star as it is pricey for food. Otherwise, my choice over other popular coffee houses.

The new woman serving is extremely rude and should not be working here she just saved me spending money with the company however as not going to spend money after being spoken to so rudely

I visited the Cafe with my husband yesterday. Their professionalism in meeting and serving customers in a safe and clean envIronment was really good. All were very helpful and were following guidelines to keep us safe. Thank you to all the team.

Will never use this place again... no respect for vulnerable customers and under the management orders you will not be served unless you give details on a Costa app... no 1 should have to be subject to that kind of treatment when trying to buy a coffee... I have recorded the management so im able to support what im saying...

As always, the service in here was exemplary and friendly! Such a nice spot to go for a quick bite to eat and/or a coffee. Comfortable seating - indoor and out, and a varied choice of hot and cold food, beverages and desserts. x

Remember, it's a chain. Up to the usual standard but nothing exceptional. Very busy and was not keeping up with demand. However the £1 filter coffee is fine.

Ordered 1 coffee to takeaway. It took 22 minutes for me to get it!! Ridiculous! It’s not like I was waiting for a gourmet meal!

Dropped in for our Christmas favourites after the Christmas Gift & Food Show at the county showground... NEXT Costas are often a tad smarter & more comfortable than their high street counterparts. Wife's velvet cappuccino was very nice she said and my hot spiced apple didn't disappoint, bar the omission of a cinnamon stick. Only 2 staff on it appeared, friendly & working to get all the orders sorted. Sadly the place was very untidy with cluttered uncleared tables everywhere, previous customer's messes, etc. They were doing their best....perhaps a self service/table clearing rack might help on days where they're understaffed??

Lovely new Costa, love the decor, comfy chairs. Lovely and keen extremely busy as heavens had opened ... Fancied new bonfire spiced latte but that had ran out of the syrup. Had skinny latte with new roast , lovely. Hubster had the usual hot chocolate and bakewell.

This is my second visit, after filling in a how was it well still the same not enough staff,very slow on orders tables cull of cups etc,a let down for a new build,

I understand that barista coffees can take some time, as I do the job myself. But this was ridiculous. The boy making coffee was moving at snails pace and didn’t have a clue. Also only 1 machine? If there were 2 you could have more than 1 person making drinks without getting under each other’s feet. Need to get a move on to keep up with this busy retail park!

Nice spacious open costa store, huge windows allowing plenty of natural light in. Guy serving me was polite and friendly. Very handy as I shop at the retail park all the time. Nice one Costa :)

What you would expect from a Costa; clean, stylish and contemporary. Lovely new premises in the centre of Longwater Retail Park flanked by a new Greggs, lunch-time choice has come to this part of the world!

The staff are very friendly here and we go regular but you must be before the lunchtime rush. if you arrive gone 12 then you can wait and we have timed it up to 20 minutes to get your drinks. It also has a drive through which is very popular with workers.

Slow service. We stood there for a good 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged us and took our order. The place was also pretty messy too; tables weren't wiped. My coffee wasn't particularly hot either. Not going to rush back here to get my coffee.

This is a nice place to sit on a Saturday morning before tackling the Next Home Store and the various other mega stores that make up the expanse of the Longwater Retail Park! The coffee shop has loads of parking and serve various snacks. It is located about 3 minutes off of the A47 at Costessey turn off.

Love meeting friends at Costa. I always have a skinny flat white. The cakes are a real indulgence which didn't hurt once in a while. The atmosphere is always great never rushed to leave.

I expect a lot each time I visit a different costa. I visited here whilst on holiday and I can say I wasn’t let down, the quality was still there, the customer service was as high as it should be and the atmosphere was great

Visited this evening with my son for which should have been a pleasurable experience, was greeted by a miserable barista who quite frankly couldn't be bothered, behind the counter was a mess with food to be disposed of sitting out and actually had a fly on it!!!! When we received our coffee we then tried to find a clean table, in total there were 9 tables available and only 3 were clean enough to sit at, we were there for 25 mins before someone came out to clear them! Such a shame because the coffe was lovely but, the experience was marred.

El mío podría haber sido más cálido, pero fue muy agradable.Ambiente encantador y relajante, nos dejaron sentarse y charlar y sin duda no hay prisa por irnos.El café era muy bueno por un precio decente.Limpieza muy buena, todas las mesas limpias y limpiadas.Volveré

Bought a takeaway coffee from here yesterday which my husband drunk as he went round the next shop. My son drank the last bit of the coffee and swallowed a fly which was in the bottom of the cup!! I walked back to the shop and showed them the cup and the just looked at me as if to say what do you want me to do about it! I said aren't you going to do anything and she said I'm not a manager. I said get a manage then. Another man came over who didn't seem bothered either. He refunded the cost of the drink but actually this isn't enough. My son could have swallowed the fly and they didn't seem bothered about it at all. I spend alot of money in costa so very disappointed with their attitude. Will never use this branch again.

My wife and l were at this Costa the other day and found it very charming and of my favourites Costas in Norwich. The air con was off to our delight so we could take our jackets off. The young lady who clears the tables was very busy but clearing tables and cleaning them is vital for first impressions and she delivers.

Always a good coffee at costa. Cappuccino or lattes. Daughter has the milkshake which is so thick. Croissant was lovely and fresh.

Usual Costa products but it was all good. Toast was hot and tasty as were the drinks. Service was polite and friendly.

One of my favourite Costas to visit. Very clean and still quite new. The staff are really friendly and service is quick if there isn't a queue. Definitely recommend!

I adore Costa but this little one is far too busy and takes a while to get served. This being said it's handy having a costa in NEXT so I can enjoy a break from the hard work of shopping 😜beautiful coffee

Love the coffe in Costa but the wait in the queue was very, very long. Catch 22 i suppose, nice coffee, long queues. Not enough coffee machines/staff for busy periods

this costa coffee store is a franchise inside the next store, it is nice, but i do find it a little too busy, and the staff never seem to have the time to be friendly as other Costa's usually do, and anyone who reads my review knows how much i love my costa coffee..

Located in the new Next this Costa usually is rubbish. Staff unhelpful when asked for bag, and toastie was barely cooked. Massive queues and not very well organised. Also my daughters mini muffins were out of date. Manager seems ok, but majority of staff moody and very unhelpful.

I visited here first thing in the morning. Staff un welcoming, no smile no can I help you, dirty tables. Iced latte seemed very watery compared to normal. Not the normal Costa experience.

Great chairs/location/staff /food bit noisy at times because of tesco's and slow to clear away dirty crockery however service is really slow which can lead to ques at peak times into Tesco shop and lack of seating, otherwise it would have been 5 stars

Visited last week, said they had been open a year, however I had not seen it before. Very good service. Drive through too.

Popped in yesterday and I was amazed at how busy it was. Tables needed clearing and fridge needed re stocking , but I guess the staff had been caught on the hop as it was raining. Coffee the usual Costa standard but the caramel squares seem the get smaller.

We occasionally meet family here on a Saturday afternoon as it centra,l and as it is in Next, ideal for a quick shop at the same time. Maddison served us at the till and her customer service was second to none. As there is a large group of us, we are not always the easiest customers but she was patient, calm and extremely helpful. Costa has a large selection of cakes, including a range of mini cakes which were excellent for my young niece and myself, particularly so soon after Christmas. Well done to all the staff for an excellent experience.

We love Costa Coffee they serve "best" in the area, in our opinion ... I would recommend the Caramel, Cinnamon or Roast Hazelnut Latte - Yumtious!! Situated inside a fabulous new Next retail store it's "plush" too ...

The coffee was normal for a Costa but considering it was very busy the service at the counter was excellent, the lady and the chap making our drinks were very friendly and cheerful which made the long queue time seem worth it. It was definitely service with a smile!
