The Crossways Inn in South Norfolk

Fabulous pub/restaurant. Great menu choice, good value, very friendly staff that accommodated us for late lunch. Parking available and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. A true gem.

Camping nearby we wandered into Scole for a drink in the Crossways. Found it to be very welcoming, very dog friendly and just a really nice pub. Decided to have dinner, which was also excellent. Would thoroughly recommend, nice atmosphere, nice people with great beer and food.

Terrible service waited nearly an hour to receive our order despite being the first customers for food only for the next table who arrived 20 minutes after us to receive a similar order 10 minutes before us when we asked why this had happened we got a half hearted excuse of we had a problem with the ordering system so your order was delayed.....OK it happens why not come over and explain it to us one of our party left in disgust

Popped into this pub for lunch chosen as had good reviews. Loved the atmosphere of the pub and the friendly cat. Nice open fires, had a lovely freshly cooked lunch. Was refreshing to go to a pub which isn’t a corporate chain. Would highly recommend!

Oh how I wish this was my local. It’s just the perfect pub. A proper pub!! Great atmosphere, so friendly and the food was fantastic!!
