Had a booking for 7.30 and we had left by 8.45! Before we had even sat down we were told only three steaks left . A table of 5 young lads knee deep in red wine were inappropriately drunk and none of the staff seemed to mind . We said we were had decided to leave and staff didn’t seem to mind …. Other dinners said to us that they wished they had gone too but hadn’t been so brave . Come on The Globe get your act together and we may come back !! No customer service to boot ☹️

What a way to take advantage of late October sunshine? Sitting out with a bottle of wine and tucking into another amazing Crab Royale salad. The local delicacy, dressed crab along with cockles, smoked mackerel, prawns, coleslaw & potato salad. Probably the best value lunch along this pricey stretch of coastline. Roll on next summer for more visits to this quirky seafood shack...although interesting to see developments inside... a packed cute indoor restaurant, toasty warm, gingham tablecloths and candlelit tables. An ideal spot for birders and walkers on a nippy day. A lovely warm welcome as usual and a family business to cherish.

what a lovely Fish and Chip shop, front of house was a lovely friendly lady, Young lady at the till was obviously new and learning the tills, but what a lovely happy go lucky young lady she was. Explaining, she is new to the tills so please bare with her. Ordered our food, Traditional Cod and Chips, all nice and fresh and tasty, and nice size portions. Looking forward to going back to Well's later in the year for some more Fish and chips from here

The restaurant is out in the sticks so there was plenty of parking. The room was very quirky, full of pig ornaments and pictures. The table decor was very simple. The food was amazingly good. Simple dishes cooked just right. Mrs Barganax opted for the belly pork and black pudding. I had the half bbq chicken. Alas, there was no room for dessert.

My friend booked a table for us, 3 adults, 2 children and 4 dogs. 4 of us had a carvery and 1 had a nut roast. Food was amazing, especially that parsnips! The staff were really helpful and accommodating. Super dog friendly, the dogs were given a bowl of water on arrival and all had a doggy roast dinner. Thank you

I ate here on consecutive nights during my weekend in Blakeney, since my first visit was excellent in almost every respect. The waiter was very helpful when I complained about the sticky table, explaining that it was due to over-use of sanitzer and moving me to another table with a glass top. My simple haddock and chips was perfect. Thin crispy batter, a generous helping of tartare sauce and deliciously minty pea puree. On the second night the starter of smoked mackerel pate and the seared tuna and cucumber salsa of the mains were similarly excellent. But the bed of couscous was drenched in a shoyu-based dressing that was inedibly salty. I do not mean just a bit salty. I mean heart-attack salty. A professional chef should obviously not make such a simple error and at the very least should taste their creation before passing it for service. I duly complained (though did not just send it back as I should have). The waiter deleted the service charge without my asking, but I left gasping for water despite having eaten barely 10% of the cous cous. On reflection the waiter should have apologized and returned it to the kitchen themself. The incident marred what would otherwise have been a 5-star review.

I cannot understand why there are so many negative reviews on here, we were there today, October 13th, and had their chicken curry with pineapple. Well cooked and plentiful, service was excellent, cleanliness of the cafe was also excellent.

On a recent trip on the Norfolk Broads, we happened upon The Dog and had some lunch. Nice welcome and really good food! The Dog Menu was a particularly nice touch, bought some treats for the pooch, which she loved. The food was so good that on our last day, on the way back to the boatyard, we did a little detour and returned for another meal. Highly recommend, will definitely return! Thank you.

Wow what a find. the best place to eat for miles around if you have dogs with you as it is very dog friendly. We went for Sunday lunch and sat out on the covered terrace next to the lovely garden. There was a choice of 4 roast meats and a vegetarian option. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The cost was also very reasonable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere.

Firstly I want to say how lovely the staff are! Really great! However… We’ve been getting take aways from here for a while and it’s always been good. My mum is visiting at the moment so we popped over yesterday to eat in. I was so disappointed. Not sure if it’s a cost cutting measure, but the chips were not ‘chippy’ chips but looked and tasted like pre-cut bought-in frozen, processed style ones. My fish was wet and mushy. It’s only a guess, but this may be a sign of it being frozen. Just under £60 for three, for a cup of tea each and three cod and chips (and one mushy peas). I don’t mind paying for good food, but not for this. It didn’t even resemble traditional fish and chips. God knows what’s going on at Eric’s but we won’t be going back!

It was a very damp and showery morning and we weren’t sure if the restaurant was even open! But we tried the door and it was . The lady on the bar asked the kitchen if they were still serving breakfast (it was only 10.10am) and they were. We sat down and there was a very damp smell in the room. Which was a little off putting but We ordered full English and Vegan breakfast, both with coffee. The coffee were served piping Hot which was lovely as usually they go cold before breakfast is served. But breakfast came and coffee was still hot!. Breakfast was also really hot and delicious, good local produce and served with a smile. Deffo come back again! Serves lunches and coffee and cake too so worth drying at different times of the day.
