The best restaurants in Ipswich East of England

After illegally sacking off all the staff and supervisors, they have been ignored repeatedly by the manager and are all left jobless. The milkshakes were good and had a gift card to spend but have lost out on that money so very unsatisfactory. Ty!

£1.95 for a tin of fizzy. Food ok but gone up alot. Toilets are stained dirty and stink. Not cleaned often or very well. Very bad for a food premises.

We have been here before and although the atmosphere could be improved, the food is lovely (in particular Saucy Chicks) so we were looking forward to bringing our friends tonight to try it out. Drove here and upon getting to the front door we realised it was closed as all the lights were off and no-one was inside. It said online it was open and a friend called them to query this but the phone did not even ring out. Had to find elsewhere to eat nearby. Thoroughly disappointed in this experience, or lack of in this case!!

We visited the place for an evening meal. Ordering was online. We found it time consuming so decided to place the order with the waitress. Pizzas were yummy. Friendly staff.

Every time we go here they keep putting battered sausages in the order when we haven’t asked for them! Mum went and requested sausage and chips amongst other orders, got home and it was battered not normal. I went and requested 2 sausages and chips , thankfully noticed they were putting battered ones in the wrapping as I was stood at the counter. Said ‘no, I want and asked for sausage and chips not battered sausage’ the reply was ‘you didn’t ask for UNBATTERED!’ ?????? I don’t have to, I asked for sausage not battered sausage. If I wanted a battered sausage I’d have said battered sausage. Son went last week and I specifically said to him to ask for UNBATTERED sausage as I know what they are like. Guess what, he walks home and yes I open my orde to find a blooming battered sausage:( Why they are obsessed with battered sausages is anyones guess, but I’m writing the order down next time and handing it to them on a piece of paper in the hope they can get it right.

Ordered online yesterday for delivery today 1745-1815 and get a message at 1715 saying they cannot fulfil order. Very disappointing, been using them for ages, will think again now

Got a takeaway via delivery service. As usual there were items missing. We never seem to get our whole order. Had a 10 piece bucket, which consisted of 8 legs and 2 thighs. Having worked at a KFC previously, I know this should have consisted of an equal amount of dark and white meat and smaller (legs and wings ) and larger pieces (thighs and breast). A thoroughly unsatisfactory meal. I have now given up on KFC, a waste of £40. Won't ever be getting it again.

Worst eating experience I've had In years . We visited as a family my daughter and I ordered the very young and inexperienced server was highly confused by it all . We ordered fish and chips and burgers and a kids meal she go ok that will be 25 mine wait so didn't mind that then waited the mins for four drinks . As we are waiting been start to see ppl complaing about food and service . We then waited 55 mins for our food which by then we were getting fed up . Well wat a mess the food was my partner and my fish wasn't cooked it was frozen watery cold inside and practically burnt on outside .. my daughter's burger was so hard on edges you could have resoled your shoe but then as she bit into it further it was raw in middle it as nearly still mooing . After complaining they refunded us the money for burger .. unfortunately the staff are way to young to run such a place unfortunately staff seemed to be highered by looks rather than being able to think on there feet and cook a decent meal . It is in prime location so would expect far better food and service and staff need to be trained not to wipe the food of the table on to floor Wen cleaning . Never never again will I go in the it was crap

There originals tonight from this brunch was horrible, seemed burnt and very oily. I would not recommend to friends and family. This was by far a really bad experience with a fast food restaurant and KFC Ipswich should have someone to oversee and correct the cooking timings. Would not recommend.

We ordered two meals a week ago at The Martlesham Heath KFC. We clearly stated no sauces on both (twice) but when we got the items and drove off. We had to take the items back. There seems to be a lot of young teenagers in that branch and we are very happy for young kids to be working and gain experience but they do not seem to be properly supervised or trained well. Four days ago, we went back to the same branch and ordered two wraps ( simple, easy, just two wraps) we spent nearly 10 minutes between ordering to get our wrap and guess what... the chicken was cold. After 5 minutes of waiting for food, one young man came to the window and without saying anything, closed the windows in our face and not even an apology was offered or to say that the food will be delayed. We complained to the young Manager and she ensured another two wraps were made, but guess what.... the chicken was barely warm. We wont be re-attending.
