The worst restaurant I have ever been to , food was cold horrible , order was wrong , staff just don't care or have attitude Avoid at all cost

Awful service no fries with meal, really weird staff, one of whom was just grinning like he was high on drugs, wouldn't ever go back

Complete shambles this KFC. I paid for goods I didn't receive and when reported to KFC they just sorry, didn't give me the food I paid for and didn't give me a refund. Avoid this place, the company has gone down hill and nobody cares

Went to KFC in Martlesham and as soon as you walk in all we could smell when ordering our food. Whilst waiting my wife asked for some salt and the miserable staff member serving said we'd have to wait until we got our food. When our food arrived, in a paper bag even after we said we were eating in. The girl who served us threw our bag of food on the counter and walked off... then did it again with another order after ours. At this point I'd had enough and asked for the manager and requested a full refund. Whilst the refund was being issued we noticed the food we refused to accept was being taken out of the bag back onto the shelf to probably sit there all night until its given to the next person. The staff in that place are so miserable and deliver very poor customer service. Will not be going there again.

Picked up a KFC from here tonight. Plenty of horror reviews but nothing like that. Staff super friendly, food served quickly, piping hot and tasted really good. Only complaint is they forgot to give us straws but other than that pretty good!!

Went thru the Martlesham drive through. Wasn't till we got home we realised we were one piece of chicken short. However they had replaced that with 6 ketchup sachets, 6 bbq sauce sachets, 6 mayo sachets and 13 salt sachets. This is easy to say but check your food before you leave. Careless shoddy service

Decided to try a KFC takeaway tonight. We paid almost £20 including delivery for a 6piece bucket with 4 chips.The food arrived within 30 mins via uber eats.....The food itself was awful! Cold overcooked chips and very small portions of cold chicken.What a waste of money.....

Ordered takeaway and waited quite a while. Tables and floor messy, plenty of staff messing around. When we arrived home half of the order was missing. Tried calling and got no answer. The quality of food was poor, cold and overcooked. We wont be making the same mistake twice!!!

Oh dear, why did they bother. I was looking forward to giving this a try but hugely disappointed. £18+ for a bland, tiny, feeble wilted looking burger and cheese and a few pieces of lettuce. I paid extra for the cheese and it was like a a very thin cheese slice that barely covered the tiny burger. The chicken popcorn was tiny. The beans I didn't recognise as it was all bland sauce, I only discovered the baked beans when throwing the sauce away, they had sunk to the bottom. The french fries. were small in number and poor quality, seemed like they had been individually counted by hand. No drink provided. Don't bother going, there are much better, cheaper alternatives in town up the road, I feel ripped off, only plus was the friendly girl on the till

Order £43 of food for family, 4 piece box meal didn't turn up. Both trilogy box set meals were really bad, burger wasn't edible tasted like chicken coated in battered oil, not the taste of KFC. Ordered at 6.50pm arrived at 8.15pm really wasn't worth the wait. On the plus side the vegan burger was really good but very disappointed overall when we have waited so long for KFC in Felixstowe. Hope they get it together soon!

Called here on a busy Saturday evening, expecting food to be hot as it was being churned out fairly quickly. Ordered a 10 piece family feast which comprises of 4 large fries, 10 original pieces and a bottle of fizzy and 2 sides. They had minimal sides to choose from but we ordered mash and beans. Went through the drive thru, fair wait, got served. Paid and left. Took 3 minutes to get home. Turns out we got 2 portions of chips instead of 4, they were cold and half cooked, the beans were no better, cold and more juice than anything else. The mash was rank, grey, and also cold. We did get a good variety of chicken pieces, however it was also lukewarm, needing reheating. What was meant to be a treat, ended up being an overpriced/barely edible mistake. I wouldn't recommend, save your money or spend it elsewhere.

Had a family members birthday so we all decided to go for a KFC don't normally have any issues, we have one vegetarian that joined us and on this occasion there was no quorn rice box available so only vegan burger available and they couldn't even have chips as the popcorn chicken is fried in the same fryer which is wrong. Very disappointed as vegetarian and veganism is a big thing at the moment. 😔 😟

Our chicken was salty but we all agreed it was just breaded chicken, they forgot to add the flavour powder in. The drinks were just fuzzy water as they forgot to add the flavour in that too. I was beginning to think we all got Covid and lost our sense of taste en mass! At least they didn’t, or rather couldn’t mess up the chips and the lettuce . Bizarre.

Ordered 2 boneless box meals , the chicken in the fillet burgers was so tough , I don't know if it was undercooked or just old but was inedible!! Was given a replacement but no apology or explanation . Never ever will I eat kfc again !!

Does not even deserve a 1 star.Absolutely horrified when the order arrived. First of all 3 out of the 4 orders were incorrect. There were no chips in our meals, no beans or anything as requested. The food that we had would barely count as a meal. After seeing 70% of the meal missing, I called up the branch straight away to be told they will replace what’s missing the next time we go. There was no effort to get anything out to us or offer us anything to try improve the items that were missed. It didn’t help that the lady was rude and told us they are busy. Correct, I can understand that the store are likely to be busy, but if they can’t keep up with the orders, simply limit them. Now the bigger concern is the quality of the chicken in the buckets was absolutely horrendous. The chicken was dry and entirely fatty. I am not even sure if it should even be classed as chicken. I can certainly confirm that chicken was not freshly cooked within the last 2 hours.

I've been going here for at least 30 years but this experience has put me off for ever. Rude staff, one kept rolling her eyes at my wife's queries. She refused to give me a drink with my meal even though it said on the board that it came with one. They ignore their walk in customers to concentrate on the Deliveroo drivers who all hang about in non social distanced groups, three inside the place and three more hanging around outside whilst other customers were kept waiting for half an hour or more. Never again.

Evening at in-laws, decided on KFC even though they said it had been very poor standard recently with some of the chicken looking like it had been under a heater all day and not tasting great.We ordered for 6...a very UNcomplicated order. Arrived reasonably quickly...4 portions of fries ordered, 2 were missing, and the 2 tiny portions that DID arrive were shared out.....soggy and barely warm....nobody wanted a second taste, they were quite frankly vile, the bin DID not go hungry. The phone number they give goes to answer phone saying ''No no.exists". The chicken was nice in fairness but the zinger burger was not at all spicy and had next to no mayo in it. Will use again if I'm drunk. A waste of £40.

The young gave me a drink that was spilling out of the top, down my car and on my front seat. It's safe to safe no consideration was given, I was shocked. I asked the lad if he could possibly change the lid and he did bless him but my car is sticky on drive side and inside. I am not impressed I will be taking this further.

Sat in drive thru for 5 minutes nobody came to serve drove off, two staff outside having a cigarette.

Orderd a zinger tower meal . Which consists of 2 zinger fillets . Served by a cocky know it all with a obnoxious attitude . Should of left then . But paid my hard earned money and got home to eat my meal to find only 1 zinger fillet . Cant complain as they are now shut . Thank you obviously cant count or are robbing of my money .

Had KFC for the first time in several months. Beautifully hot food and staff were helpful and polite. Making the perfect topping to a chilled out saturday afternoon. Welcoming, smiles,polite service, hot food and offered a range of sauces or ketchup to compliment my 6 pce wicked variety meal. My grandchildren enjoyed them too all finger licking chicken and even veggie wedge cuisine. Awesome service KFC, Great Job.

This is my local KFC, and KFC is usually my favourite fast food. Every visit to this branch is the same. Whether you show up at 3pm, or 9pm, there is always a long queue. Fair enough, as it's the only one nearby and it's a small little outlet. But the queue doesn't diminish. They are always understaffed, employees arguing amongst themselves as orders are cleared prematurely off the screens or messed up altogether. Personal experience - you have 2 people who have been waiting for 30 mins (myself in the queue for 20) after ordering family buckets. No communication to them. They are disgruntled, moaning at the staff. It then transpires that the family buckets were accidentally given to a different customer so they have to start it from scratch. They finally receive their order near on 40 mins after ordering... they leave the store. As I am ordering, the customer comes back in and it turns out the staff have not packed in half of the stuff they should have.That is a regular peeve here, I am frequently getting home and finding out they've left out my mini fillets, they've given me beans instead of gravy, the hot wings I paid an extra 99p for aren't in the bag... Staff are always apologetic, and you can tell they feel embarrassed about the standards when they look through a queue of 20 people, none of which have been served.My advice to anybody going: be patient, check your bag before you leave, and do not be rude to the staff as they are clearly ill equipped.

Around 3 years ago this place was alright, but it’s gone really downhill and they take ages to prepare food. They still get the meals wrong and charge too much for the wrong food 😐

I have given this KFC many chances, but it seems that every time I return they get something wrong. If it's not the un trained, uninterested staff getting the orders wrong it's the suppliers not delivering shipments on time. (imagine a KFC without chicken/gravy ...) I recently went and ordered a megabox meal which seemed fine although awfully slow service through the drive through as usual.. went home to find that they had obviously not been bothered enough to cook the correct chicken and instead had thrown in a portion of chips and around 15 pieces of popcorn chicken. that's it. no wings. no fillet. just a bunch of nothing... absolutely awful, should be shut down and replaced with a different fast food chain.

The chain has without warding stopped using reward cards and decided to use APPs. Lots of elderly customers do not use spart phone apps and are being discrminated against

Plastic in foodReally disappointed as usually really good but chicken was cold and so were the chips, the gravy was warm but not hot like usual and then after dishing up food onto my plate I noticed that there was plastic cooked in with my chicken .... as I’m also pregnant I’m really glad that I saw it before I had eaten or taken a bite out of any of my food would have taken the food back but have had a really busy day and just didn’t want to drive all the way back !!! Went to kfc in at around 8pm, wasn’t busy & was looking forward to a nice piece of chicken.. got told there was NO gravy and NO coke. First thing I noticed was how warm it was inside. It was too warm and I felt quite uncomfortable. Service was friendly if a little disinterested. I had the three piece meal. The chip portion was measly and not well cooked. Now the chicken. Has the Colonel changed his recipe?. If I ate that blindfolded I would of guessed it as one of the many similar KFC style places out there. It did not taste like KFC. It was well cooked but dripping with oil. Not a good experience and matched an earlier visit. Next KFC I have will be taken elsewhere coz I love em and I'm hoping it wont be the same.

Awful - loads sachets of sauces , salt, wipes put on top of my meal which i never asked for. Looked uneatable wont be returning.

we arrived at about 10.20pm ( advertised that was open to 11pm) to be informed that they had stopped preparing food at 10pm, there was only two pieces of chicken and some old chips left, when asking the staff why they had stopped preparing food so early, we got no real reply, the staff were not really interested and did not seem to care, we would certainly not waste are time visiting this restaurant again, very disappointed

I come to this KFC regularly i have had a few problems but recently they have become too much to ignore.

After a big meating at stock car tunrinow up an hour before close restaurant all cloved off and told I can't sit down. ice cream all closed down not able to have what we had ordered and still want to be charged full price food was warm at best and had to keep going to up to get order as bits missing my advise to anyone reading is to keep driving past manage / supervisor was a complete waist of space

Arrived around 3.30pm. Not very busy but orders were taken and processed one at a time. Chicken came from the back and I can see why. The worst chicken I have ever had. Skin hanging off and the most greasy touch chicken, made me feel sick - had a couple of bites and threw it away. Phoned to make a complaint and some little girl wants to diss me!!!!!!!!!!!

How is it possible that a restaurant of such a poor standard stays open? From a quick browse of other reviews it seems standards are very low across all of their restaurants in the area.

So I ordered a regular popcorn chicken meal and was enjoying it until I picked out a piece that has stuff on it, unsure of what it is but not happy will not be going back. Also store is filthy and the staff and rude and disinterested

Waited for over half an hour for the food. This I can handle when busy. But the sides were left on the work top not heated for the 30 to 40 minutes I was there and obviously a long time before. The staff were going to the toilet and coming back not washing there hands because the same plasters were on their hands not changed. They were constantly talking about how ill everyone was. And then while my complete order was getting cold. They stood waiting for previous orders to be finished rather than serve what was ready. I was then moaned at for asking for fresh sides rather than the cold ones.

Me and my partner always get takeaway for Friday night dinner! Went to kfc as not been for a while. We order then drive home to find we only have like ten chips each and there green in the chips!!! Not happy.

Called in on the way home from the cinema for a takeaway. Firstly, the staff were just not a bit interested in the customers - much preferring to chat amongst themselves. The food took ages to be served and my chicken fillet in a bun was cold. There was no milkshakes on offer or gravy. The whole place looked dirty and run down. A manager or supervisor needed to keep staff up to scratch. Will not be returning.

No gravy and it's normally rubbish. And not good enough. Paid for the food and ordered gravy and went to collect the food and said no gravy as we went through the drive-thru and couldn't get a refund. Unacceptable..

I have heard horrific stories about things that happen here by my daughter who has a few friends who work here. One of them being that the staff sometimes put the chicken in urine before frying it, drop the chicken on the floor then pick it up and serve it and that there are rats all in the building. Absolutely disgusting and wouldn’t put it past any of the workers considering how many times I’ve been in the restaurant and have been spoken to badly and seen them pick chicken up etc bare handed. Needs to be shut down.

It’s the usual as KFC’s go, staff do come over as very much doing their job! Smile would be nice! Get what u expect.

1st poor menus sign kept changing will we were reading it , ordered “4 bite” for £3.19 & milk shake , girl in civilian clothes charged £7.19 , when I questioned she was rude saying I order the box meal !!! I took my son here after the cinema for a quick bite to eat. The toilets stank whilst waiting for food, the tables were dirty from grease and ketchup, the floors were littered with rubbish and there were two filthy bags of rubbish by the bins. I hate to think what the kitchen is like. I'll never return.

Dirty restaurant, almost every item on the menu sold out, miserable staff, having to listen to staff complaining. Ordered my meal to sit in but took it out as it was far too depressing to stay. The Colonel would be turning in his grave.

During the recent well publicised chicken shortage you would have thought they would have used the time to train staff on how to talk to their customers. The customer service at this KFC is dreadful, not sure what charm school they were sent to, but obviously it hasn't worked. Also no bottled water, first chicken then this. KFC are really having a problems with their suppliers and their staff. The female who took the order at 17.25 today would be suited to a non customer facing role.

This location has the most horrible customer service ever. They absolutely do not care about the product that is ordered and the product received. I blame that squarely on management which sucks.

Staff have questionable hygiene, food is undercooked, after a few bad experiences I will never be returning to this particular franchise.

Whilst we were in here ordering our food, all of the staff were standing around and chatting bearing in mind there was a massive queue. The manager was really good though and told them to pull their weight. Got home and found half of the order was missing!!! Not overly impressed with the whole experience.

My friend’s 11-year-old son loved his lunch box & popcorn chicken and gave it 4/5. I do not eat battery-farmed chicken, so my choices were extremely limited. Fries or a rice box. I selected the latter, which contained hot vegetable rice and salad leaves, covered in an unpleasant dressing. The rice was ok, but the salad leaves had wilted to the point that I couldn’t eat them (they had basically cooked next to the hot rice), and the dressing was way too tangy for my taste. He would go back for more. I would not.

as a regular at the store, it's a great place and you get more for your money, not to mention the great service they provide, nothing fancy about the place, just as long as you get your money's worth

This kfc is getting worse and worse, been coming here since it opened and it has gone down hill drastically, young staff stand about gassing and need some direction and the hygiene is nonexistent, the tables are filthy, the toilets are filthy, there was a dirty water container sitting ontop of the salt/napkin dispenser but no one was actually cleaning the place.

Went through the drive through to be told cash only. Ordered boneless bucket with 4 extra chicken strips and 2 gravy. Got home to see the chips stone cold extra strips not in box and missing the gravy.Won't be going back.

Went during a really quiet part of the day. Took the staff over 5 minutes to notice I was there. When I was eventually noticed the server was polite and friendly. Food came quickly and tasted ok.

I bought a 6 piece bucket a kids pop corn snack box and a large pop corn chicken the chicken was almost black / dry 2 little winns 2 drum sticks and 2 wot ever the fries were cold I live less than 5 mins from this outlet nothing seems to have improved at this outlet in the last few years

Pretty hit and miss here. Sometimes great food and service but sometimes doesn't taste like the food is 100% right. At last visit whilst waiting a customer returned saying burger was hard is the middle and when I ate mine had the same thing didn't taste cooked property

I went to the drive through last thursday at kfc martlesham at a very busy tea time to be served by an extremely happy a friendly young lady "millie" she was helpful and cheerful even though the queue was long. Had a lovely hot cooked order which we thougholy enjoyed. We popped into the toilets which were clean and smelt fresh. Nice to be served by someone who clearly enjoys their job... thank you millie and kfc martlesham

We took out 2 grandchildren to kfc at martlrsham today, never again, the staff left out some of the order, my chicken was slightly under cooked and tasted odd, but most of all appalled at the hygiene, the restaurant was only 30 percent full, no sign of anyone in charge, there were 3 tables completely uncleared, and some appear not to have been wiped over, the floor was filthy, both bins were completely full, with rubbish stacked to the side. Will never return.

Well now had my last KFC forever,in recent months asked for all white meat, used to get it now never, Chicken and chips always now greasy ,used to be finger licking,now finger greasy , I have also visited other KFC around Ipswich and must confess it is getting harder to find old fashioned loved KFC .
