We visited the place for an evening meal. Ordering was online. We found it time consuming so decided to place the order with the waitress. Pizzas were yummy. Friendly staff.

Messy menus, with stale food on them. Far too expensive. Good not well cooked. Staff not well trained - didn't seem to know what was available. Asked if we could sit at a particular empty table but was told it was reserved BUT was never taken during the time we spent there. Will not visit again.

The worst dining out experience I’ve ever had began when we were told we were waiting in the wrong section of the reception even though signs stated “queue here”. This was not a good start with the way they had spoken towards my family. When we asked if we could sit in the empty pod section we were told we aren’t allowed as Sitting their with a high chair would be against their policy (even though a week before, we had been allowed to do this at their Copdock branch which was outstanding service by the way!) The table they sat us at was sticky & uneven and was later told they were expecting new tables in but still didn’t move us to a different table. When we went to help ourselves to Salad we were immediately stalled and told to pay first which we had never done in a Pizza Hut restaurant, but again it was the entire attitude of the way they had spoken to us like we were poo on their shoe! The restaurant was extremely untidy and very short staffed, picture below shows stacks of plates just left on tables. A waitress(struggle to give her this title) named Clare was uttlerly awful, just did not understand the meaning of customer comes first and anything we asked we just felt like we were a nuisance to her and I am still waiting for the crayons she said she would bring to our table for my 2 year old! The Manager LetitiaB was appearing to abide by her rules & regulations which came over as extremely rude and arrogant and had no sense of compassion for our needs. AVOID THIS EXCUSE FOR A RESTAURANT, Pizza Hut NEED to either sack the team or close this branch. Many other bad reviews! I didn’t want to even give this 1 star.

Decided to go here on Friday 26th July , asked if we could have a table near the window , so they put us down the steps , we were only one of 11 tables in use ?? Any way , menus given spoon stuck in pot and “ You’re table 23 so go to the bar to order when you’re ready “ Off we go after we had chosen . One individual Meat Feast a portion of chips and a Diet Coke and glass of water please ? Along comes the very dude manager , tells the young girl to go and serve the food and he will do this !! £17.68 then thank you . Didn’t even ask if I’d finished ordering ! I paid and he gave me the appropriate glasses and two salad bowls . Off I go , got the drinks , we went to get salad and the bowls were filthy , asked a waitress to change them and I got told sorry we are really busy ?? Err no you’re not as two of you stood around talking . Next stop salad bar ,, do you have any cucumber another man asked ? No we’ve run out , What at 7 o clock ? Yes and that’s all the salad we have she said . That’s not very good he said but her reply was ,, well it is free , err no it’s not we pay for it in with the extortionate prices for the pizzas . Returned to table which was sticky asked for it to be wiped but she never returned , always handy to have wet wipes , then I found a chip in my glass asked to change it she did but then asked if I Done it when I got my water as the manager said he would have noticed that ?? Charming , anyway chips were awful dry and tasteless and pizza was ok ish but for the non cleanliness and attitude of staff I won’t go again . One lady told them the water in the loo was scolding hot and dangerous, she got told “it’s always been like that “ Pizza Hut you have a zero rating from me ,, sort yourselves out .

Have to order at bar and pay in advance Told no mushrooms no nachos ice cream factory not working School holidays and almost empty I’m not suprised Questioned lack of supplies - no answer although is an Asda across the road !!! One of the kids pizzas took at least 16 minutes longer to turn up than the rest. Pity you have to pay in advance - doesn’t give you the right to walk out when you’re fed up of waiting while the staff stand around chatting. Expensive waste of time - You can get it cheaper with discounts at a more upmarket pizza places including prezzo pizza express etc and at least someone takes your order for you. Finial insult a tip box as you leave - My tip don’t bother

Ordered a takeaway from here - collection only so you have to order before turning up which is a bit annoying. Good deal on 2 pizzas on a Tuesday. Service very quick and food was out and ready from ordering in under 10 mins. Tasty too (if you’re a fan of Pizza Hut). Nothing to complain, would use again.

My first visit to This Pizza Hut in a year, and what a change for the worse! We arrived and were shown to our table at about 12.15 on a Saturday lunchtime to a restaurant that was largely empty. I guess that should have been the first alarm. The table didn’t strike me as clean, but wasn’t dirty enough to kick up a fuss about. We then discover that the at table service is gone, replaced with the insultingly untrusting pay at the counter before you eat approach, which is unfortunately all too common these days. (Yes, they still have the audacity to ask for a gratuity on the pin pads BEFORE any real service has been given. ) We opted for the buffet bundle on a Saturday lunchtime, and the most positive thing I can say is that the ice made the drinks nice and cold. We were given our bowls for the ice cream factory dessert from the bundle when we paid, and then went to help ourselves from the pizza on offer. All three slices of it. We sat back down and waited for it to be replenished, but several times the buffet ran out and had customers standing around waiting. None of us felt brave enough to tackle the filthy salad bar. It looked very much like new fresh salad had just been dumped on top of yesterday’s leftovers with brown and crusty bits of lettuce stuck to the side of the lettuce bowl, and utensils that looked like they were overdue for their weekly wash. It was also a quest to find a clean bowl if we wished to try, which also put us off further. We also had to go hunt for our own cutlery and sauces. The Pizza and Pasta on the buffet was ok, but nothing to write home about. I know it’s the buffet, and probably the cheapest selection of products available, so no real surprise there. Once we’d finished our mains, we looked at the cheap red plastic bowls we’d been given for the ice-cream factory dessert, only to find they too were filthy. We wiped them all out with serviettes, and found the serviettes had a disgusting brown residue left behind on them. When I told a member of staff about it, the response was “I’ll let the kitchen know”. No offer of clean replacements, and seemingly not much interest in addressing the issue. The three adults in our party of five all felt the same way. We will not be back in a hurry!

We enjoyed a relatively quick lunch from the buffet menu, all you could eat for anfixed price. A vast choice of salad ingredients, meat, vegetarian and margarita pizzas.
