Istanbul Kebab in Ipswich

We called Istanbul Grill late on Saturday evening and even though they had to deliver all the way to Melton at almost midnight they were more than accommodating! Food was lovely fresh and hot despite the long journey. And a really good price too! Looking forward to ordering again Thanks so much

Absolute vile the whole meal went into the bin. The garlic sauce tasted like it was gone off. The medium kebab was fatty. The chips was not the best. The pizza was undercooked. The burger went into the bin as it had garlic sauce on it which tasted gone off.

all the food especially the kebabs were very dry i think we got yesterday's left overs won't be ordering from there anymore

Even better than previous, delivery on time by a charming gentleman who obviously read the instructions, when others previously didn't. Slight criticism is that the kebabs were slightly well done for our liking, but not enough to lose a star.

Fairly authentic Turkish style kebabs, seems they use Pde Turkish flatbread or similar which was fresh and may have been baked in house, which enhances the flavour of the meal. Partner enjoyed her pizza. Our second time ordering from here, will again

very disappointed with the food. the kebab was appalling and was really soggy and wet. the pizza had a green bit of plastic in one of the slices. pitta was also wet. for some reason it took 2 people to deliver it. over all just not a good experience and had wasted my money

Our food never turned up & after several phone calls to the restaurant & being continually fibbed off by them, & a refund point blank refused, my advice, NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. They said that our order had been delivered, on the app……completely false!!!

This was brilliant on all levels. The kebabs were delivered half an hour earlier than expected, which was awesome as we asked for it ASAP. The delivery driver was friendly and thoughtful. But best of all the kebabs were the greatest we’ve had. Meat was so tender and flavourful, excellent quality salad and chilli sauce with the perfect amount of punch without blowing your head off. We will definitely be ordering again.

Absolute abbohant delivery driver, rang me up to come to him across a busy road as he couldn't be bothered to read the notes when asked if he read the notes I was given a triad of abuse and swearing towards me, I walked away he then rang me on 3 more occasions to swear at me down the phone, reported to just eat and the shop, but doubt anything will be done, will not order again from here

Just over time frame for delivery but I do live quite far away. Driver was friendly Food was nice, did its job 👍

I've ordered from these people before and have been happy, however with the Shish the amount of meat was disappointingly small and the bread was torn, all a bit rubbish really.

I submitted my issue but still didn’t get any response that food were missing and quantity was not good enough

As usual your food was fantastic but one item was ordered with garlic sauce (chicken kebab) but came with chilli sauce. Unfortunately the person is allergic to chilli sauce he ce he could not eat it. Also it's worth advising that the order is on way in the app. Delivery driver is fab as always.

This is takeaway . Order came very promptly. Food was warm. The food had no flavor! The donor meat had no taste at all ! The quester pounder again no meaty flavor. This place Used to be the best in Ipswich . Asked for lots of chili sauce , I got 1tbsp of it. Chili sauce again no flavor at all !! Salad was disappointing!! Good portions though but wouldn’t order again as the meat had no flavor ! I would go for bbq mania store any day ! Way better than this place !

Been coming here for a cheeky kebab for over 22 years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else and whenever I’ve been out of town and had a kebab, it never meets the standards in comparison. The staff are family and they are kind and always give my kids a free drink whenever we come by. Worth a try!

Could not fault the quality of food however I ordered a Lage Döner Kebab which I got. I also ordered salad with the kebab which I did not get .I also asked for mayo which I thought was going to be put on the salad !instead it was smeared all over the kebab . It has not put me off using you again

Food was not hot when it arrived - was delivered an hour past when it was scheduled i even called to follow up.

Do not order! No cheese on the cheesy chips. Added a photo of my empty vegetable kebab. All tasted stale and off. Green chilli peppers tasted like soap. BBQ sauce was rotten. Just awful! No refund offered. Terrible!

I never actually received my delivery, it was delivered to the wrong house, I’ve had deliveries to the same address multiple times. I would either like a new order or a refund.

We had a mixed kebab and it was absolutely amazing 👏 every thing was cooked to perfection and very chargrilled, exactly to my taste. The best takeaway ever .

Kebab lovely as ever. Delivery nightmare, got the promised delivery window on the app. Walking home, get a call from delivery driver asking where I am. Tell him 2 minutes away. Get down my road and have to stand in road to stop him driving off with my food. He tells me delivery by xx time which is earlier than app time. Get food, eat lovely food. Finish food. App still says food will be delivered between time later . So lovely food, but late night delivery not good.

Didn't even cut the pizza. The minimum spend is £30, but then after you add stuff you don't even want (to make it £30) they add on £3 for delivery and a 50p service charge... The food I want comes to £16. Never ordering from you again. Plus turkey ham is disgusting.

The food is now over priced, the quality of food has gone down drastically, ordered meat and chips and burgers. The doner seems couple of days old how they are managing to sell this I have no idea. This place was one of best kebab placw a long time ago and now it is now the worst. Never ordering from here again

Poor communication. It should be simple to just text/call a customer to let them know what is going on!! Food was good though.

Food arrived over an hour late and cold. I called the restaurant within 20 minutes outside the delivery time and was told the driver was 10 minutes away. Over half an hour later making it 1 hour I called again asking where the driver was and was told by the 2nd person that he had only left 20 minutes before my call - I then asked why they were not honest the first time I called that the driver had not left as yet as I then went and prepared my drink waiting for the meal. The 2nd person said they were not the one who answered the call the first time and repeated that the diver had only left 20 minutes and is on his way, I then thanked him and said that was good then at least the food should be hot rather than if it was out for delivery for 1 hour to which he agreed. Just as I was ending the call the doorbell rang and it was the driver (it would have taken him more than 30 minutes to get to my location). The food is all cold and I will not be ordering from here again as the pizza does not even look fresh having been prepared possible from over an hour.

All I wanted this evening was donner meat and chips corsing through my veins. Not only did they deliver, they performed. If my therapist Debbie wasnt doing such outstanding work with me, I would have most likely shipped this kebab off to Vegas, and provided the most tear jerking, heartfelt vows as we tie the knot. 10/10 would recommend, just make sure youre prepared to live the rest of your life knowing nothing will ever satisfy you again.

Absolutely horrendous they put menu through door that morning order food came t0£13 00 but when text came through wanted 1760 pound with this I cancelled and on reflection will never trust this shop again Total sham

really really bad experience everything was unsatisfactory. the chicken wings did not taste of chicken and were really fatty. the wrap was COVERED in grease and oil making it uneatable. the best part of this meal was the canned drink even the salad was oily and far to moist causing the container to be damaged on arrival. won't be choosing this place again binned almost all the meal. fair warning to others go somewhere else.

Waited an hour & a half for my order of Halep kebab & onion rings. The food is the worst I’ve ever had! Literally chopped pitta bread & donner meat in a tray of grease & water with a spoonful of chilli sauce on top.

Delicious as always, plenty of fresh ingredients, great combination of flavours.
