Pizza Hut in Ipswich

Ordered some pizza and sides nearly an hour before they closed, they accepted the order and said it was being prepared, then closed and never delivered it, didn’t even let me know they weren’t just never showed up.

We arrived and were treated in the usual cheery manner and told how to order, no problem. The drinks were served and salad bowls, we had ordered a meal deal for each of us (2 adults and 1 child) our pizzas arrived and our sides, but only the child's side, no pizza. We were then asked a few minutes later what was missing and told by the server, she would check on the child's pizza. She returned 5mins later to day ut would be 2-3mins. 10mins later another server asked if everything was OK and we said no, no child's pizza. She went to the kitchen and arrived 5 mins later to say it was now in the oven and the kitchen was so overloaded with orders for take away and eat in that it was bedlam! We waited a further 10mins and were delivered a burned child's pizza. I asked what the complaints procedure was and was told she would ask. Possibly a voucher. She returned to say it would be a voucher and that they were so understaffed and overstretched. She was very kind and understanding of my concerns. She also said the manager would be with us very soon but was currently in the kitchen sorting the problems! We waited and waited, not for the manager but for our table to be cleared and or our deserts that we had ordered with the meals to arrive..... they didn't. Our son had eaten what he could of the burned pizza and we decided to leave. I have emailed Pizza Hut and left a review, but had no response, we would recommend you steer clear of this hut. Unless you want a job!!!!

Haven't had a pizza in ages. There are 3 of us, one veggie, one cheese free and one dairy free (what a nightmare). Opted for the 'My Box' meal deal - small pizza and side each. It meant we could all create our own favourite. Order was spot on. Food hot and tasty. And most importantly great value for money. £7 each! Oh and there is leftovers for lunch tomorrow. 🤣 Well done Pizza Hut, for offering choice and value.

The place is a mess..u can see those people working there not respecting any hygiene rules.They deliver and drive the scooter and after they put their hands without washing and ingredientes to make a pizza...disgusting.U can watch the staff doing it without any problem.DO NOT EAT FROM THERE

I have received my order on time but it doesn't Worth the 53 pounds I paid. Very thick dough, burnt at edges, smelly onions and no fresh veggies. quality was very bad , you don't taste anything in it. It the same like frozen ones you buy from a shop. Please don't try at all, save your money. It's my first and last time. I dunno why I didn't order from Papa John's as usual.

Overall tasty pizza and the gentleman serving was great very helpful, friendly and polite.

Absolutely shocking service from the 'manager' keiron. Ordered pizza hut regardless if its delivered with uber eats still PIZZA HUTS FOOD. Didn't receive all of our order. Just come out of surgery at the hospital and all I wanted was my full order. Parred me off to uber and pretty much said he doesn't care take it up with them. Tried to call uber of course you can't get through. He has just allowed uber to rob us and his customers. Blazey attitude and rubbish resolving skills. Great customer services mate, even better managing skills. Pizza hut, review your staff and your delivery couriers :)

Bought 2 pizzas yesterday as it was the mega week any size for £6.99 offer.. I'm glad I didn't pay the usual extortionate price as my meat feast was dry and I needed to drink a ton of water for the rest of the evening due to the insane amount of salt content in the pizza...not very nice..I won't bother with this place again.

I am dissatisfied by the quality of the cuisine that arrived; I ordered a meaty one and for some reason they neglected the cheese? How can you forget to put cheese on a pizza? As a bonus, it arrived late and cold, indicating that you need to improve your standard ross. If my family friend Andrew Tate dined here, I am very convinced he would buy the establishment and close it down! I wish I could give it a 0 star rating. NEVER. COMING. BACK.

Was looking forward to having a pizza delivered as haven't had one for a while, but was very disappointed. I ordered 2 pizzas, one of which was the meat feast stuffed crust, the other being a chicken supreme. I usually really enjoy the food from Pizza Hut, was really hungry and this was our Sunday evening treat, so imagine our disappointment to find that both pizzas were absolutly horrible. They bad been totally drowned in the tomato base that had been used, this being so over-powering that it was the only thing we could taste!! Couldn't taste the chicken or the meat, it was horrible. They had both been made with far too much tomato base It totally ruined them. Even when breaking a slice to eat, the paste was dripping off the slice, even our plates were swimming it tomato paste. Extremely disappointed to say the least :(

Chips were undercooked. Pet peeve. Staff looked like they had all the time in the world too stand hiding behind the till obviously having a very amusing conversation. Maybe could of spent some of that time cooking my chips a bit better.

They accidentally made me a pepperoni feast pizza instead of the meat feast, so gave me both for the price of the one for having to wait a few minutes longer. Really polite and good customer communication/service, pizzas DELICIOUS!

Never using again! The delivery guy pulled my pizza from his bag like it was a letter ! Second time he's done this and as the pizza was under cooked AGAIN, For the 3 time in 4 ! All the toppings slid off the pizza! Thanks alot !!!!!

Buying from here has always been a great experience, whether as a delivery or by walking into the store and buying then and there! I will say i recommend the latter purely because the enployees are a pleasure to interact with!!! The food has always been top notch!

The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Friday evening, probably due to pre-Christmas money-saving! We were warmly welcomed by the manager Ivan and shown to comfortable window seats. The detailed menu was explained and we were left to make our selection. Debbie, the waitress, was very helpful - both staff members were professional, helpful and very friendly. The food was of a very high quality, so thank you to the cook. The salad bar was kept very clean with a good selection on offer. I chose a glass of red wine which was very smooth on the palate and my companion had the unlimited soft drink option, both of which were included in the £14.99 meal deal. This was amazing value with a good choice of food. A lovely occasion, excellent in every way.

Very poor. Bought 2 pizza's last Friday for collection and they were ok. Shame a week later we whent back and got another 2 and they were cold and grease and cold this week. The chap who served me was very polite and nice. Shame the manager who took my call was not the same. When I explained it was cold and grease he reply was well it took at least 20 minits to get here well kept it hot . What do you expect. My reply was ok well I will leave feed back accordingly and he jut laughed. Do here it is. Not very good will not be going back and a letter on its way to head office.

Always a favourite for a lunchtime treat we were however disappointed today to see this restaurant had undergone a refit - and one that could only benefit the staff or allow for reduced staff numbers! No longer did a waitress come to take our order and it was just by chance we spotted a notice on the menu stand saying to place our order at the counter! After making our choices I went to the said counter to order two buffets and one pizza for the third person in our party. When the pizza arrived it was not what was ordered and when this was queried with the waitress we were told the one ordered was not available in that type of base. I wonder why this was not pointed out at the time of ordering. A waitress taking an order at the table would have explained. Anyway the pizza and the buffets were enjoyed but we missed the personal service that had always been a nice touch in Pizza Hut over the years. It did make me wonder why when I paid, which you now need to do at the time of ordering, the card machine asked if I wanted to add a gratuity. When there is almost no service given I thought it was a bit rude to be asked to pay for something that would be impossible to receive. The waiting staff that are still needed are likely to miss out on extra perks and for this I am sorry for them. The food was just as nice but zero points for customer service.

Made an order at 6.32. Told it would be 15 minutes. Waited patiently. Man who arrived sometime after us chased his order and was told it would be 15 minutes. I think waitress then must have found my order at 7.10 just sitting there. Of course I didn't realise that at time. She offered me a free dip of my choice. It was only when we got home we realised this must have happened as pizza and garlic bread stone cold. Horrible. Worst pizza ever. Being patient does not pay. Will never go back ☹️

We went for the lunchtime buffet. The salad bar and drinks are decent but always a little crowded and often a wait with almost no pizza out. That said, it's excellent value for hungry kids, who love the salad bar and the pizzas are lovely once out. The staff were also super friendly and genuinely lovely. A really good value meal.

Free unlimited salad, if you can get any! Only 5 families in the restaurant at 17.30 & already you can't get any salad, asked staff to top up but it stayed the same for 40 min by which time the pizza had arrived. Pizza's was swimming in oil, and the menu is now limited. Waited an absolute age to get the bill & even longer to pay it. Need to do better, you can get a proper meal with decent service for the £72 we spent.

Always deals so a cheap meal for a family in a rush. Always hot and tasty. Cheesy bites crust is our favourite! Can only manage half a cookie doh as it's really filling.

The pizza Hut on the Bury Road is well positioned just yards from the A14 and is a quiet location . Ideal for a quick meal before or after shopping .We ventured in as we were in need of fast food before a theatre trip. The service was quick , friendly and professional and the restaurant was half full . Many offers on the menu , we decided to share a large pizza and that meant unlimited free salads for us both. Great value but the salad items were rather bland with the potato salad more mayonnaise than potato. Unlimited pepsi but unless you like to drink vast quantities you're unlikely to get value for money at £2.80 each. The food was fresh , hot and tasty . A pleasant meal which is aimed more for families than couples. Good value with so many options but it is what it is , an average uninspiring place for a quick meal.

A nice start to our holiday. Warm greetings, pleasant surroundings, good staff, good food. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. I had the thick crust chicken supreme pizza and my wife had the veggie thin crust. Sides were onion rings and sweet potato chips. All very good.

We recently visited Pizza Hut for the first time in ages and were quite impressed. We had a half and half pizza so we could both have the toppings we wanted, it came with ten minutes of ordering, the staff were friendly and helpful, we both had a dessert (really nice salted caramel cookie dough) and with unlimited refills of Diet Coke and unlimited salad the value was good. We'll be back.

Really awfull service, went to the pizza Hut foxhall road store . Ordered a vegetarian pizza and explain them to wash hand and use the gloves. They made the vegetarian pizza with chicken and a quality was very poor. Manager told me that they use separate topping for vegetarian pizza but was struggling to give the clear answer. She doesn't know how to handle customer complaints, she involved a customer to help her, asked for customer complaints contact number she was discussing with other staff. When I asked for refund being a manager she told me she needs to ask her boss to authorise the refund, she advised me when I'll make a online complain they will refund but I had to ask her for immediate refund. When I asked her about the cctv footage about the other customer she told me it doesn't record anything only for live telecast, what a joke cctv doesn't record anything. Be aware of this fact they don't follow the customer needs, if you are vegetarian or allergic to anything please do not go to this store. Overall it takes 45-50 minutes to sort out my complaint.
