Fairly average food but it is what you expect from a chain restaurant

Good location but not the best Prezzo I've visited.

Update 2nd visit and food was superb! This is definitely one of the best prezzo we’ve been to! A great prezzos branch with very good staff! Very impressed with high level of service, good arrived quickly. Staff attentive and really engaged! starters and mains were lovely, wasn’t so sure on the dessert! 🍨 Recommend the calamari starter! Focaccia sandwiches were a nice change! Good value, convenient location and good food!

Staff, food & atmosphere always very good. Eat here with a group of 6 & always consistently good 👍

Service was fast however the food was just mid wasn't good by any means but wasn't bad enough to say something. Servers are there just to do a job, and when I went there it was closer to a daycare than a restaurant.

The food was lovely as usual, and the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, allowing us to chat comfortably. The staff, particularly Esmeralda, were very entertaining and attentive. Her friendly demeanor added to the enjoyable experience."

Went here before a show at the regent theatre. About a ten min walk. Food and staff were nice.

So it was amazing food with amazing friendly staff such a pleasant dining experience will highly recommend to people to go here

My food was OK, unfortunately several dishes were off the menu, some of our party were disappointed. The restaurant was card payment only which caused a problem as there were 9 people in our party who each wanted to pay for their own food and drinks which meant we had to give cash to one person who then had to pay on his card

Food was nice, enjoyed my Spaghetti Bolognese. The ambience was lovely and the waiter was super friendly and helpful. I didn't get her name.

Excellent. Manager gave my grandson a chair to kneel on to watch our pizza being made and cooked. Everyone very kind.

Had dinner here tonight, very pleased with food. Service was fine, quickly had orders taken and food produced. I had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad and it was delicious. Nicely presented and colourful too. We had a taste card, two courses and a drink were £20. Happy customer

Lovely staff and food comes out fast, maybe to fast? The food tasted lovely although the garlic bread with a sit disappointing. Very expensive for what it is so will not be visiting unless I have a money off code.

Pre booked a table for 6.15. Arrived at a very busy restaurant. Drinks came within good time, but our starter took over 35 minutes to arrive. Eventually, our mains came, and my pasta was stone cold all the way through. Waited such a long time to receive I was beyond hungry and didn't want to send baklck and wait even longer. Certainly won't rush back, which is shane as Prezzo used to be very good.

Very good work meal. The food was lovely and the service was very friendly. The only negative was the table wasn’t great as it wobbled, but overall a very good meal and night out :)

Good food and great service. Had a table booked for midday with my son, we’re greeted promptly and shown to our table, couldn’t fault the service at all. Drinks were ordered and turned up quickly, we were slow in choosing our dishes due to the range of dishes available. Eventually we ordered starters of crispy fried mozzarella and king prawn gnocchi, followed by chicken Alfredo rigatoni and rigatoni alla rustica. Not long to wait and food was fresh cooked and hot, decent sized portions and very tasty. I had two pints of Birrifico Angelo Poretti and my boy a pint of Rekorderlig mixed berries cider, was a bit taken back when the bill turned up at nearly £71. Good food, great service but in my opinion on the expensive side for a lunch.

My son and I visited Prezzo, Ipswich last week. We have previously been a few times before as it’s our most local branch. We visited on a Friday lunchtime and it wasn’t too busy. I was able to use Meerkat meals which gives you 25% off. My son ordered Carbonara with extra Chicken and I ordered the Chicken, Bacon and Avocado Salad. The food was delivered to us within about 15 minutes of ordering, so super quickly and our servers were really friendly! We were so pleased with our meals. They were of a good portion size and were delicious too. We will be back again!

This particular Prezzo is good. Staff are friendly, however food can take a while to come out. It's a big chain, so expect good reliable classic Italian food– but not something with the quality delivered straight from Italy! Prices are a bit steep for what it is.

Lovely pizza and chips, refreshing beer and tried a blood orange cocktail all went down very well. Friendly staff with great service

Went as a group for a friends birthday meal. Service and food were good. I asked and they kindly boroughs out a piece of dessert cake and candle so we could sing happy birthday. They were happy for us to split the bill. In all a great experience.

The staff were excellent, greeted by a wonderful young man, and the wait staff were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. Food was top-notch. Delicious!

Great food as always, took a little longer than usual but staff did look busy. Always have the pizza and it never disappoints! Would like some for beer options but wine options are good

For lovers of beige foods. I loved the idea of having family time and a treat of dining out. The food was ok and generic , bland beige, no actual flavour and well sad really the only thing that did have a taste or flavour was the lemonade that was so sharp set your mouth tingling ... the trends and flacid fads of healthy fast food is a no... this was not really accommodating to the various other diets I.e vegetarian or vegan.. The limited menu was pale .. the burgers were generic and the child pizza was ok.. the pasta dish was so bland that the baby ate it... shame it cost £80 to have a ok generic time... the best part were the staff . They gave you time to actually eat, didn't consistently bug you , however it did take 30 min to get a cup of water.. shame.... they do offer blue light discounts but if I am honest I paid full price as I couldn't get-out of there quick enough... sorry we we won't be coming back.. we would rather go to the Westfield railway inn , or venue 19 out of town as they offer significantly similar menus at the same prices but the food actually has flavour with great service.. Thanks to Tom and his team for another great lunch experience. The service here is so friendly, and I love the Truffle Burger! Lunch with friends here in relaxed surroundings is always jolly, and reasonably priced too. Highly recommended

Lovely family meal, really nice, a tad expensive but wad nice so it was worth it.

The only good thing about this place is the staff. They are polite and all hard working. This is not Italian food. Watery small stingy portions, poorly seasoned. Burnt garlic bread. So noisy, had to shout to each other to converse . Overpriced.

Fantastic service and food, try the new lager as it is a great addition to the menu. I found this place to be very child friendly, which is great with an active 4 year old.

One of my most favourite places to visit in butter market... Service can be a little slow depending upon the number of customers though but otherwise a 10/10 all in all

Friendly team and food is great

I went here and had crab and lobster ravioli. (£17.85) A massive bowl came out... With no word of a lie .. 5 bits of pasta. I did mention that I was disappointed and the server said I know... It's how it comes as that's how we have to do it to compete with the market and that's what all the other restaurants are doing! I will not go back. I think I wasted my money and I left very hungry. I would not recommend to anyone.

Definitely not going back, been ve ry loyal and regular customers now, to be charged £7.50 for half a cheese garlic bread. Prezzo this is outrageous, and I will now publish this. Fumming about being ripped of

Booking wasn't needed, was instantly given a table, the wait for the food wasn't too long, Very friendly staff, quiet and calming atmosphere, a nice place for an (expensive) chat with a small group or loved one

Called in after a visit to the cinema, as is our custom. Menu had recently changed and we enjoyed delicious lasagna and pasta meals accompanied by garlic bread. Pleasant welcome, helpful staff. We will return. Thank you.

It's a nice place to hang out with friends, customer service okay, nice food but the plates weren't heated up therefore the food got cold really quickly, otherwise everything okay.

Really like the quiet well serviced ambience, lots of room. Vegetarian Calzone was stunning. Waitress was excellent and attentive, though not bothersome. Recommended and we'll be going back for sure.

Nice lunch, especially with the free birthday Prosecco. Food was good and tasty. Service prompt and professional. Spotlessly clean and bright. An issue with the bill was quickly dealt with. Only things I’d add are that prices are on the high side (like many nowadays)...

Food was stone cold when it arrived. Couldn’t eat it. Rang restaurant and spoke to manager. No help what so ever. Contacted Uber eats. No help there either. What a waster of £50. Will never ever go here again and would not recommend

Food ok. Highly overpriced . Paid nearly 15 for a small bowl of lasagne. 10 for a flat almost paper thin garlic bread. 15 for a pasta and chicken dish that hardly had any sauce. Wont be going there again. I could make the dishes...

Visited this afternoon with my children. Didn't need to book. Seated straight away. Colouring for the children at the table. Staff were friendly and helpful. Order taken and fulfilled promptly. Food was delicious. Myself and my children enjoyed it. Also received 20% discount for being a blue light card holder which is always a plus!

Excellent service and Great food. Only lacking in atmosphere as we went at an off peak time.

Love this place. One of my favourites. Get an hours lunch and had main and dessert in that time. Love it everytime I go. Tre Gusti pizza everytime for me. Drinks come ice cold and staff are always lovely.

A good meal, tasty pasta and a friendly atmosphere. It's quite expensive for what it is, with the bill for 5 having 1 course, 2 alcohol and 5 soft drinks in total plus 2 side salads and a garlic bread hitting £125. The garlic bread was over £5 and is for one. Great for couples and adults chipping in for sure, and you do have a great night but families could probably get better value elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely meal together and we agreed that we will be visiting the Prezzo restaurant in Ipswich on a regular basis. The food was first class, the portions about right, the service was good and the prices were appropriate. Excellent experience.

Disappointed with my lunch. The chicken breast was so tough I couldn't cut it. It was sent back and replaced with a spaghetti dish, that I chose. The meal was hardly edible, overwhelmed by red chillies on a very small portion of food. This will be my last visit to Prezzo unfortunately.

Wife's food was good, mine was a bit bland. Was busy but waited 15mins to get our bill.

I Had Chianti beef and mash and husband had the chicken pasta . Both were fab and recommend. Enjoyed lemon meringue as well.

Lovely meal with helpful server, my wife is celiac so gluten free is a must. Fairly good selection of GF options but although they serve GF pasta they do not have spaghetti .

Served by a miserable waitress ordered the calzone came with hardly any filling complained to the manager who said they would speak to the chef she went and spoke to the miserable waitress and leaned on the bar and never done anything very poor service...

I went for lunch at 3pm on a Saturday and had the Chicken Alfredo tagliatelle. Service was prompt and staff were friendly and attentive. I loved my food and drinks too (bellin & wine) , would go back.

We visited on 14th August 2022 for early dinner. Service was fast and polite, but not particularly friendly. We had two pizzas and two drinks (total of £38 before tip). The pizzas were freshly prepared and tasty. I had the cloudy lemonade, which lacked taste.

Nice welcome and we pre-booked so we made sure we could get a seat but it was’t busy anyway. Decided on a burger and salmon pasta. The burger was really nice and I am hard to please with these. The pasta although nice was very spicy so be warned. Besides that the staff were friendly and the air con was at a nice level. With the added bonus they accept blue light discount.

Never order before they close . Will give you stone cold pizza which was ready for staff to take home , all chicken on it in the middle of pizza looked like somebody vomited on it, missing items on order . If I wanted stone cold pizza for 15£ with a quality like this I would go in Asda to buy 3£ one which would taste even better !!

Had a lovely lunch today at prezzo and amazing service from the staff and would love to come again soon as i loved the food and drink and is highly recommended for lunch service and well worth the money.

Came with friends for lunch and had the lasagne. It was so good, really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was quite nice too.

Great service here, we were a tad bit early but that wasn't a problem, we were seated and served very quickly and politely. The starter was excellent drinks too were all served quickly. We had a pizza main course which was delicious and well presented. One of us had a dessert as the starter and main was such a generous size. Staff were all pleasant, we left as things were getting busy.

Tried to eat at Prezzo and were dismissed from their premises under the pretence of being too busy to serve customers who walk in and now operating a booking only policy despite the restaurant being half empty. No attempt was made to find space for...

Went there as a couple, loved the service and food. People were so kind, and the food was absolutely delicious!! Genuinely recommend, I’d love to get their meatballs again.
