Shakeaway in Ipswich

After illegally sacking off all the staff and supervisors, they have been ignored repeatedly by the manager and are all left jobless. The milkshakes were good and had a gift card to spend but have lost out on that money so very unsatisfactory. Ty!

We've been customers since Shakeaway opened (seems like 15 years or so). Service is always good (ok, there's a wait at peak times but we accept that staffing costs are tough right now). The Dave shake remains a favourite.

This place really has gone to the dogs. I remember when it had recently opened and I used to go all the time, it was bright and clean full of customers all the time. Then I stopped going for a while whilst I was watching my weight. Recently I went back and was honestly disgusted - if they had an inspection on that day, they would have been shut down, I swear it. The walls and the menus and the floors and the counters were just covered in grime! Like, caked in dirt. The blender was gross and covered in previous milkshakes all crisped up, which is a big issue when you think about it, because they also do lactose-free milkshakes for people with allergies or intolerances, and that is dangerous for cross-contamination. After seeing that, I am never going again. If I hadn't have noticed AFTER paying, I wouldn't have ordered, because I wouldn't have been surprised if I got ill from that milkshake.

I always visit Shakeaway when in Ipswich, they have such a large choice of shakes, cold and hot, and the staff are always friendly. My personal favourite is Refreshers but really I could order any one of fifty+ flavours.

Kjøpte en mango shake og konsistens og måten de lagde den på så bra ut men den var nesten uten mangosmak. Frossen mango som virket umoden. Ellers var servicen grei.
