Came here today off the boat and it did not disappoint. We had pizza, chicken burger and gammon. Portion sizes were huge and we were full up for the night. Great selection of beers and takeaway options too. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will try and come back before our week ends 💙

Been on the holiday with my mum in Great Yarmouth for 7 nights.
We decided to try the Sea Chef restaurant at the Britannia Pier. It is a really lovely restaurant. Their food is so delicious and enjoyable. I absolutely love their chips and their treacle pudding with custard. The last time I ever had treacle pudding was when I was at my first school. The staff are so kind and friendly. Went there a few days while we were on holiday, mostly where we go there more than once at the same day! We really appreciated being there so much, that eventually we had to say that it was our last day before we go back home to Milton Keynes, they couldn't wait for the next time we will come back, one the members of staff who is a young woman was trying not to cry. She really enjoyed our company as we did with them, and how I was complimented with how much of a handsome smile I had.
I would really recommend this restaurant!
Excellent Fish & Chips. No criticism only praise from us. It was cooked well, served hot and well wrapped so it stayed that way until we got to eat at our holiday home.
We went to Princes as we have done for over 15 years. On arrival they weren’t very busy but was told the wait would be 20/25 mins. After 45 mins I was told it’s just coming, after an hour I chased again and was told it was just coming it would be 5 mins. The order was for a burger and chips and 2 ham and cheese toasties.
A nice man who was clearing the tables gave me my money back but not all of it, he took the money back and didn’t return. I then went in and was met by the same person who said it the food would ve 20/25 mins and gave me my full refund and not even a sorry just a filthy look, I asked is that a sorry. I received not reply.
I was polite through out, and even though only on Gt Yarmouth for the day for the @wheels festival to wait over an hour to get nothing is a big chunk of the day.
Poor customer service, poor communication and the lady who had food on the next table left it and said it was awful.
For years I have been a loyal customer, and this is how you are treated. I won’t be back!
Usually we order kebab feast but this time we wanted something different and ordered 1/4 beef burgers with chips.. delish!! Fresh salad, juicy meat and soft bun, that’s how we like it, and chips!! Wow! Ordering there for years and no problem with personal modifications of orders. Boys working hard but still with happy faces, to make us happy. Drivers always very friendly and kind.
Sorry no pics as we smashed it to quick 😄

The cafe in great yarmouth has twice in the last 2 weeks refused to serve me and my daughter we just wanted a quick snack before she went dancing. Cafe states its open until 5pm , last week we got here by 4.30 and told me they are closed as they have to tidy up and flatly refused. Today I made sure I was early and this time it was 4.15 again I was told that it's closed so they can do the cleaning, I told them I will contact you because cafe time is closing at 5. That's 3/4 hour early from stated time. Finally at 4.25 the girl said OK what is it you want, I told her and it was served and eaten before 5pm . Not a happy customer ! Why do I have to have an argument with cafe staff to have the privilege of getting a snack before my daughter goes dancing. Just also I think it's worth a mention that during the day sometimes it can take up to an hour waiting time if you count queueing time and meal finally arriving time. On behalf of myself and many other upset customers .
We moved to the area last year and still haven’t found a Chinese takeaway that we all love. Tonight, We wanted to try out a new one. We chose wing li - and WHAT A MISTAKE! We ordered £47 worth of food for the family, which included sweet and sour chicken balls, two lots of chicken fried rice, satay chicken, chips, egg fried rice, bbq sauce, and a pancake roll. The satay chicken was just a bunch of chicken in a sweet and sour like sauce with lots of veg and little bits of peanut - only had hints of a real satay chicken. The chips were like fries, not proper Chinese chips, while the sweet and sour sauce itself looked curdled with little bits (not sure what they are) floating around in it. The “egg” fried rice tasted like just boiled rice fried for a couple of seconds. The quotation marks on the egg in the previous sentence was because the egg fried rice didn’t have any egg in it. The pancake roll was mushy as well as very very salty. And finally the bbq sauce was like a thick balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Nothing like bbq sauce whatsoever. To us, it was an absolute waste of almost £50 and I would not recommend whatsoever. I ended up giving the dog the egg fried rice and even he didn’t eat it - so that’s really saying something! However, if you do order from here, I hope your food was better than ours, or you’ll be going really hungry!
Ps: the pic is of the sweet and sour sauce 🤮
Walked in waited be seated for fair while few of the women working walked past didn’t greet or say I’ll be with you shortly nothing quiet rude sat down had lovely waiter Bruce Lee was friendly n helpful boys behind the counter doing the carvery was friendly polite decent food the girls could learn a thing or too on people skills from them
Had a great visit when visiting the area. The staff were all polite and helpful even though it was a very busy bank holiday weekend. Food was hot and tasty and the pedigree was good
Phoned on three separate days to book a table in restaurant but got no answer so called in as we were passing one day. There is a large seat blocking the bar/restaurant entrance and the doors were shut at about 15.00 on a Wednesday. I can only assume it's not open now. The opening/closing information has also been removed from the main sign near the road.
