We went to Princes as we have done for over 15 years. On arrival they weren’t very busy but was told the wait would be 20/25 mins. After 45 mins I was told it’s just coming, after an hour I chased again and was told it was just coming it would be 5 mins. The order was for a burger and chips and 2 ham and cheese toasties. A nice man who was clearing the tables gave me my money back but not all of it, he took the money back and didn’t return. I then went in and was met by the same person who said it the food would ve 20/25 mins and gave me my full refund and not even a sorry just a filthy look, I asked is that a sorry. I received not reply. I was polite through out, and even though only on Gt Yarmouth for the day for the @wheels festival to wait over an hour to get nothing is a big chunk of the day. Poor customer service, poor communication and the lady who had food on the next table left it and said it was awful. For years I have been a loyal customer, and this is how you are treated. I won’t be back!

Terrible , waited over 40 mins for a hotdog , then got the worst hot dog ever , broken cob , onions underneath and bitter tasting hard black bits of either onion or bread ? very difficult to describe how bad it was , i took two bites and threw it away , clearly the staff cant cope with demand at times and have low standards , i wont go there again and to be sure there are much better places nearby who excell .

Only had a sausage in a bap and an egg and bacon bap,how can you get that wrong,well this place did a really good gob of it, the worst food we have ever had,cheap tasteless sausage,over cooked rubbery egg and rock hard bacon,it seamed like it was left over’s reheated.

Terrible.Worst Cup of tea I've had in a very long time...no conversation over how I want my tea didn't even ask if I wanted milk just poured in half a pint.no instructions where sugar was Just a very tepid cup of milk with a very cheap tea bag waved over the top.

Nice breakfast at a good price. Sausages could be better quality but everything else nice and love the location right by the beach.

Lovely location on the prom by the bowling green Good selection of main meals and cakes. Fully licenced for cocktails and beer. Friendly helpful staff.

Thought this place looked nice for a spot of lunch on the last day of our holidays and we weren’t disappointed. Menu was varied with a huge selection of drinks too. We enjoyed the theme especially the fluffy parasols outside. Staff were friendly and efficient. Only thing we didn’t like was parasol bases/ extra parasols etc were being stored under tables/behind chairs in the tea room which were in the way sometimes. Still a great feel to this lovely little tearoom though!

I went in to Princes with my wife and 2 daughters for a quick bite to eat and was faced with the rudest staff I think I’ve come across! After feeling unwelcome and finally getting our food it was very average and wasn’t worth the whole ordeal! Avoid at all costs.. we won’t be going there again that’s for sure!!

As usual friendly smiling welcome. Good selection of cakes and hot drinks if light snack needed. Full menu of hot meals. Lovely cocktails and selection of draught lagers. Prime position on the front.

Tucked away near the Britania pier in great yarmouth is this lovely cafe. Seating outside facing a sandy beach ⛱️. Service was first class and breakfast cooked to perfection. No cheap products used like most cafes I have eaten in. But was really nice. Defiantly be back 100%.

A lovely lady served us lattes and we sat just off the beach watching the world go by. This place had inside seating as well as outside and offered a wide array of food and drinks. ( The alcoholic hot drinks were very inviting!!)

We'd arrive in Great Yarmouth by train and by the time we'd wandered through the town to the seafront we were ready for a coffee. This cafe was just in the right place and the coffee was really good. It was a latte but didn't seem machine made as you could taste the real milk.

Came here for lunch after walking out of another café where food was inedible. Choice of a sea view or overlooking bowling green. Ordered a decaf tea and was eventually served with a decaf coffee. The coffee was very tasty so I decided not to complain. Tuna sandwich was very nice too. Some misunderstanding about payment method caused a delay so feel staff need training better but enjoyed a satisfactory lunch.

You can sit on the promenade drinking a cocktail from a bucket (yes a bucket) watching your kids play on the inflatable slides and bouncy castle at Jumping Jacks (£5 for 20minutes).

After paying, two waitrsses approached me at the table, once being served our food and drink, saying a did not pay for my Sprite. I had calculated price at the till, I paid the exact amount of all my items. I asked to speak to the manager, who said that it wad my responsibility to check if I was short changed. I explained that was not the issue, that her staff had accused me of not fully paying. She checked the till and said that the till was down by the price of Sprite. I calculated the price with the manager as well as my change. The manager was still adamant that I had not paid for the Sprite. She made me feel like a thrive and I told her to call the police as I knew that I had paid the right amount. She did not call the police and I walked out with my family, without finishing our drinks and food. Will not be returning.

Right on the front next to the Britannia Pier with sea views this is an excellent location to sit and watch the sea or the world go by, with the added bonus of tasty food and drink at a reasonable price. Friendly prompt service

Wow. If you are ever in need of hot food and a drink this is the place. They even serve alcohol. (when permitted ) This is the place Warm and friendly. Excellent choice on the menu.

Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or just a snack this is a lovely place with a varied menu and very reasonably priced. Staff are enthusiastic and friendly, lterally able to sit at the edge of the beach and enjoy the surroundings. Food is fresh, coffee...

We visited the beach cafe on Thursday and Friday for breakfast, the food was excellent ,so good that the chaps went back for seconds both mornings! There is nothing better than sitting on the sea front enjoying a good cup of tea and an egg...

Ate here and had drinks sat outside. The staff were friendly and wiped down the areas. Food was good. Reasonably priced.

At least 10 visits this and last September and I can honestly say that the Coffee and Food selected has always been first rate and not as reviewed by some as Doughnuts Tasting of Onions, Dirty Rimmed Mugs, Tasteless Cappuchino & Cold Food being served...

After a lovely weekend in Great Yarmouth during which time service had been amazing in Yarmouth everywhere, we visited the Ice Cream Counter of Prince's Tea Room. We waited a minute or so to be served, a lady working there most obviously saw we were waiting to be served but just totally ignored us, so it goes without saying we ( ALL 4 of US ) took our custom elsewhere!! Sorry but your STAFF are RUDE hence my direct and negative review of your shameful establishment - " ADVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS " !!!!!!! The Ice Cream next door was amazing and 5p cheaper !!!! Thanks to your neighbour for serving us in a polite and timely way!

I have been coming here for years , the staff are always make you feel welcome , if you fancy a relaxing cup of tea or a cooked meal I recommend Princes Tea Rooms

We decided to stop for a tea and cappuccino, wished we hadn't, the tea was weak and the rim of the mug was dirty, we returned the tea thinking we would get a fresh mug of tea, instead just poured the original tea into another mug, as for the cappuccino I don't really know what it was, far to hot and certainly not made from a proper coffee making machine.

Right on the beach. Clean with seating inside or out. Dog friendly, allowed our dog inside on a cold wet day. Food was fast and acceptable considering the very reasonable price. Staff polite.
