The best restaurants in Great Yarmouth East of England

We went to celebrate granddaughter’s 7th birthday – it seems a favourite place for such things! The staff were really good and entered in to the spirit. Our server – Victoria - was especially attentive, helpful and good natured. The menu is extremely complicated as to what you can have with what. Too complicated for its own good! Anyway – the food. It all arrived in good time. I was surprised at the price per pizza although if you factor in two very nice salads, then I guess it’s about OK. It’s not my sort of place unless grandchildren want to go. One last thing which is maybe just me. The male toilet – toilets must be clean – it was; and everything working. The toilet seat was hugely loose. Rather disconcerting. I tried to fix it but to no avail.. Yes I could have said something at the time.

Price to amount ratio is EXTORTIONATE. The chips werent that great neither was the curry sauce. AND TO FINISH IT OFF THEY TRIED CHARGING ME TO SIT AT A TABLE?!

Came for breakfast and was not disappointed, Greeted as we walked in and was spoken to and asked where we had come from. Very polite and great customer service. We ordered breakfast, and it was gorgeous. Cooked perfectly. Thank you 😊

Nice food had the set menu for £19. The waiter let me swap options I didn't like for an alternative. I have been coming here for 23 years where it used to be all you could eat, however, I think the owners would have been better putting up the all you can eat price or adding supplements for more expensive items eg. duck. The reason is that it seems a lot quieter than it used to be and am worried their business may suffer as locals will not like this change. Love Red Leaf, great food & service

Not great for the price, kebab was dry, they forgot all my salad. My partners kebab was 90% onion. Servers were friendly.

Very disappointed! There were 4 of us and the food was not nice. Sausage and mash….mash had lumps and the sausages looked undercooked as were white! Steak & Ale pie….burnt and the inside was dried out like it had been reheated more than once. Beef roast dinner was the worst we had ever had, roast potatoes were burnt! Will never go back there as the customer service was non existent! Not once did someone come to the table to ask if everything was as ok.

The pizza is pretty poor. Quite tasteless. Really dense almost pastry-like base. Basically no tomato sauce and the meat had no flavour to it.

Would not have food here again and would not recommend to anyone food was very cold and staff didn’t want to know when we complained

Mountain of food, cheap price. Kebab below par but hungry eaten all of it. All mountain of cheap produce but that’s what you expect for Great Yarmouth and a cheap eatery. But I cannot help a Adana kebab love it.

This was the worst Fish and chips we have had ANYWHERE! I am not sure the fish is actually cod as it had that grey/brown horrible bit you get sometimes but it's usually only a little. These bits it was thick and ran through the whole pieces ,that's what happens to Pollock when it's old we litterally couldn't eat it and just had chip "butties". To Add insult to injury 2 medium "Cod" 1 small chips, a sausage for the dog and 2 Gherkins. £ 27. 60! By the way the sausage was really poor too, pink mush. Thee gherkins almost like green paste. AVOID!! The only reason for 2 stars and not one is the Lady who served me was lovely. I wonder where she gets her Fish and chips.....

Delicious chips, quick service and served hot. We didn’t have anything else so can comment on anything else. Will be returning when next in Yarmouth

Visited with a friend and was disappointed as the chips were soggy and my bread on my fillet burger was stale, couldn’t say if this was normal for this branch as i was on holiday and first time i’d visited. I’ve been in a lot better KFC’s up in Yorkshire.

We have been holidaying in Hemsby for many years now and this Chinese takeaway does not disappoint!!! The food is so fresh and tasty, and it certainly beats most of the takeaways back where we live. I really recommend trying this Chinese, and please don't stop what you are doing - you are amazing!
