May Flower Chinese Takeaway in Great Yarmouth

Normally good but I won’t be using them anymore last experience no food and didn’t want to give a refund

Never had an issue ordering of Just Eat, food came 30 minutes late after waiting 1 hr and 10 mins on top. We contacted the restaurant twice and there was no help just ‘it will be 5 mins’. I never had experienced this before, they refused to let us speak to a manager. Food came so cold, my duck came in what looked like a dog bag, my chicken was raw. Safe to say im disappointed, there is no help with a refund so i have wasted 35£.

Really bad chicken Balls. Forgot the drinks won't be ordering again

Ordered multiple meals for me and couple of friends left drinks behind and all good turned up undercooked absolutely terrible do not eat from here unless you want expensive food poisoning

Absolutely disgusting order was wrong rang to try sort out lady on phone was very rude and had no sympathy nothing been sorted and no money back not even offer of a free meal food tasted like cleaning products whole lot waisted

I came back to this restaurant because the food last time was pretty good but unfortunately it was let down this time

why would you add the sweet and sour sauce to the chicken balls? put the sauce in a separate container!. that entire dish was ruined, soggy and falling apart. chicken tasted weird, no surprise there.

my delivery was delayed 3 times

order 1/2 duck received 1/4 duck with only 6 not 12 pancakes rest of order perfect tasty and delicious

not happy at all. was told food was on its way. when it wasn't. had to call the restaurant three times. food turned up cold. called them again for them to say nothing at all or offer a replacement.

Didn’t have what I ordered. Left it to last minute to tell me never order again

Chips went in the bin as they were hard because they had gone cold. Delivery driver was very polite and apologetic as he was late.

Im on holiday in a Premier Inn. i ordered food tonight very fast delivery excellent quality well cooked very happy great price too. Dare I say the best chicken balls I have had for a very long time very impressed perfectly crispy and the sauce was spot on

First time ordering and will definitely be back. food was lovely hot & beautiful. Asked for No vegetables and they got the order correct. It arrived earlier than expected so that was an added bonus! Combination meals were big which was good! Good value for money. Unfortunately we didn’t get no prawn crackers though.. amazing!!!

Changed delivery time 3 times after saying courier was on way, food was cold, pancake rolls were dripping cold cooking oil, £79.00 of cold food in the bin, I asked for a refund and was told no, this is what happens when you pay by card in advance however I will never use this restaurant ever again!

Forgot my chicken balls but within 15 minutes they delivered them 👍. Great value my new go to Chinese takeaway

Placed order online, waited hour and half to not receive any food. Called up to have a child answer the phone saying chef sick. And no refund offered and second payment taken also. Now having to go through bank minimum 3week wait to get money back!!!

Greasy, overdone and tasteless..waste of £15

Been eating from here for over 10 years, peking sauce with chicken balls is my favourite 🤤🤤🤤🤤 The happy meal is really good value!

Hatt et nytt besøk på hotellet, eneste fordelen ved å bli 60….du får en ekstra uke med ferie. Veldrevet hotell der fokus tydligvis er på service og vedlikehold/oppgradering. Alt er ryddig og rent, 7 dager i uka. Betjeningen virker som de trives på jobb. Vi hadde et problem med en dør til dusjkabinettet. Sa fra i resepsjonen da vi gikk ut 11.30. Tilbake 14.30, da var allt i orden!😊 Har faktisk blitt mange bra hoteller i Alanya etter hvert, men på dette vil jeg trekke frem, renhold, vedlikehold, betjening , fantastiske senger og rask og stabil wi-fi som virker på balkongen. Glimrende restaurant med et barkart som jeg tror savner sidestykke i Alanya. Den har tilgang fra gaten og er verdt et besøk selvom en ikke er gjest på hotellet. Vil igjen trekke frem at de har wi-fi, som virker og er stabil, på balkongen! Store flotte rom, kan annbefales.

My friend Dave and I visited this establishment after sinking a few beers in a pub. We walked in to an empty restaurant at about 20.30 on a Tuesday night . It seemed dead , but then a woman ( named Wen ) appeared. She gave us a warm welcome and we were seated . Ordered a couple of small tiger beers whilst scanning the menu. We ordered and sat talking. Had some great banter / laughter with Wen as the restaurant was all ours . The food arrived and we tucked in . Wow wow the food was exceptional, so so tasty and absolute quality. All fresh produce, you can just tell. 10 out of 10 . The decor is dated but it’s all about the food . Well done to the chef

Had a lovely good value meal. Food tasty and hot. Staff good and friendly. Very clean and tidy.

After a thief took out delivery claiming to be us, the staff bent over backwards to fulfil our order. Thanks guys!

Stopped here for my weekly dose of chinese food. Restaurant was quiet when I arrived and a few people collected takeaway orders while I was there. They only had diet coke in the sugar free range so I had apple juice. I ordered sweet and sour prawn balls and special fried rice. I actually got sweet & sour chicken balls and special rice, which were well cooked and tasty. I parked at Sainsbury's opposite and paid one pound by contactless card. All in all a pleasant evening.

First time I have tried this Chinese WoW the food was amazing. I will be ordering again. I was worried when I moved back to GY about finding a good Chinese ❤❤❤ it

We always order from here. Just had a takeaway from my birthday. Delicious as usual. The beef is so tender, Singapore noodles to die for and prawn crackers always in fresh oil unlike a lot of places. I didn’t take a picture as scoffed it already 😂

My friend recommended it as he gets their food a lot, being that I read the other review I was a little sceptical but it was really enjoyable. The chow mein was great and the fried rice was lovely. I haven’t had the chips but my friend likes them a lot

Just had a delivery from the May Flower to Great Yarmouth Yacht Station. On time, hit and delicious, recommended if you are on a hire boat on the broads.

Lovely food that was cooked quickly. Friendly efficient staff member who answered the phone and everything was as expected. The best in Great Yarmouth.

This is a good place to order Chinese food. They have a very wide range of choices so you never get bored of eating the same. Prices are fairly standard, but you get good sized portions without delay. Only disadvantage maybe is that you can only pay with cash.

I've ordered from May Flower several times, & food has always arrived quickly, very hot & tasty. Good portion sizes too.
