Istanbul Kebab House in Great Yarmouth

Mountain of food, cheap price. Kebab below par but hungry eaten all of it. All mountain of cheap produce but that’s what you expect for Great Yarmouth and a cheap eatery. But I cannot help a Adana kebab love it.

I use to go here after nights out many years ago 😉 but this reali is up there with the best ever donner meat iv ever tried especially when you have it in one of there burgers (istanbul special burgers)🤤 it's definitely the best kebab place to order from BY FAR enjoy...

Well today 21/10/23 around 20:00 I decided to give this takeaway a try despite the negative comments but unfortunately they failed once again as walking into the shop it looks a little untidy and not very clean… I ordered a large kebab with meat a little well done and the pitta bread well done so it wasn’t soggy but neither was done for me the pitta was undercooked and the meat also looked and tasted not cooked properly which was disappointing as it cost £10 as a customer you would think they would cook it to how you like it. The salad was already in a box and had no flavour just like the kebab only had a few mouthfuls and the bin ate the rest. What a disappointment and waste off money I might as well have a tenner to a homeless guy The staff wasn’t really customer motivated and seemed to busy on there mobile phones than service and cleaning the restaurant I shall not be returning Disappointing and pointless

It said the meal was 16 online change me 25 at my door Very bad meat had to drain oil off didn't get any of pitta I order I won't use them again

The service was poor the food was disgusted over cook kebab meat and chips cold and taste of mould left overs I would not recommend this place they don't do any thing bout the food .

They used to be great, I have been ordering from them, for years. But the last year or so, Has been disgusting. They just hang up when you want to talk to them. Most of my food has chunks of human hair in it. If you like that sort of thing then order from them.

I had a flyer delivered to our caravan from these guys while staying at Vauxhall Park Holiday Park, they told me they are open late and deliver direct to caravan. Placed an order last night for 4 items, the delivery driver called me 20 minutes later and told me they cannot deliver to caravan and I had to go down to meet him at the entrance, which I did (reluctantly) I got back to caravan to find missing items (Pizzza, which is the main reason I ordered). I rang them back up to tell them they had missed my pizza on a 4 item order and I didn’t want to wait for a new one to be delivered and to refund my money, for them to tell me they cannot refund me back to my car I paid on. So they can take payments but cannot refund when the mess up (what a lie). Told me they would drop me another pizza off but I’d have to meet him back at entrance I was already in my PJ’s and all the other food had been eaten so I said no I just wanted my money back, they refused to give me a refund and told me to drive to the shop if I wanted my money back (this is around 2 miles from the camp site and was drinking so refused to drive to shop). If you mess up and order at least have the decency to refund your customer what they paid for and didn’t receive!!!!!!!

Ordered some food after some drinks the night if the world cup final . One of the staff was very rude and borderline aggressive with no apparent reason . I was so overwhelmed with his hatred I will never ever ever go back there again. He needs the saccckkkkkk!!

Popped in after after a night out in Yarmouth. The chicken was amazing, would recommend. Also had very tasty cheese burger. Very friendly service!!

Staying at seashore, they delivered to the end of the road nearer the caravan. Forgot one item which was very promptly redelivered with both guy on phone and delivery lady v helpful. Had kebabs, wrap, burger and pizza and all was hot and well cooked with good portions of tasty food. Thanks all

Two pizzas, my pizza was hot & tasty. My boyfriends smelt of weed and had little crumbs of weed in his pizza. I’m sure someone who actually smokes would enjoy this however it ruined the pizza and was very distinctive as to what the smell was. I was not prepared to go searching through the rest of the 15inch pizza but I can definitely say this is weed 😅

Clearly the individual serving us did not want our custom… service with a grimace should be the byline for this place!! Not reviewing the food only the service which was quite atrocious

Shocking place, ordered food never arrived hour later try to find out where it was and had a shocking rude response from the man over phone, try to make it out was my fault for there poor service! Don’t order from them unless you want 0 food and rude service

We ordered a pizza family feast, best value for money delivered exactly when they said 5 miles from shop and still very hot. Staff were absolutely brilliant nothing to much trouble and delivery staff were very polite. Would recommend to anyone 5*

The food was very nice, i shared the doner feast with my son and there was plenty to go around and the doner meat was lovely, the others had the pizza deal 4 and pizzas looked very tasty but i didnt try any as i wouldnt of had room to eat any more. Worth trying this place.

This is our go to Kebab shop after a night out in Yarmouth. The Kebabs and in fact all the food is top notch. The guys who do the cooking are very welcoming and friendly, we will be back the next time we are in Yarmouth.

Asked for extra salad and received no salad at all. So we had meat and pitta. Does not deliver to caravan as lead to believe so had to meet at main gate to site (10 min walk)

Food was terrible. It was dry and lacked flavour. The order was missing items (12” pizza and accompanying fries). Absolutely would not recommend at all. Tasted like dog water.

I usually have no trouble with the place but after waiting 2 hours for a delivery they kept saying was on the way for them to then cancel our order after waiting so long is disgraceful. I honestly believe this was rude and horrible.

Ordered kebabs for a takeaway as reviews were good. When it arrived chicken was raw and chips tasted powdery! Worst kebab I’ve ever eaten, would not be surprised if we are poorly tomorrow. Called to advise chicken was raw was told “I’ll tell the chef darling”. Horrendous - avoid!!!

I had a chicken kebab with salad and my partner had a large doner with salad. We liked that the salad came separate, didn't make the pitta soggy. Superb taste with both meals. Thankyou 😊

One of the nicest donner meats i have tried. The donner deal is well worth it plenty to eat for four people. Always deliver on time and food always been hot.

This is the worst kebab I have ever had .. I paid for an extra large shish kebab... And 85% of the meat was so chewy and tough it was not edible :((( Wouldn't even give it to my dogs it was that bad !!!!

We visited in June 2018 and had a take away. The service was very good, the food was very good and a reasonable price. I would recommend having food from here if you are in Great Yarmouth

Well I was pleased to see the kebab shop as we were very hungry. Staff are great place is very clean and tidy. We ended up with large Bbq Pizza, and a portion of chips each it was all very welcome and really tasty. Thank you very much guys.

Fantastic selection of food. Can feed a family of 5 for £30. Food has always been really good,fresh and tasty. Delivery is great and has always been earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend this place.

If I order in I always choose Istanbul. They have the best wings out of any kebab shop in Yarmouth. I recommend you visit then and give them a try

we wanted to eat something that wasn't the normal along the beach, and we found it here. It was freshly made salad and meat to order. We got to shish kebabs. The place was clean so we sat in and eat it.

The kebabs here are really good, very well filled and we found the salad to be very fresh clean and crisp. One of the better kebab houses I have visited and we will return when we are in the area. Well done keep it up.

my partner and I visited on the 15th December after an epic fail at the savoy we ordered a Istanbul house special pizza and two drinks and the pizza was gorgeous as it always is . the staff are always great very friendly even if the place is crawling with drunk people. Istanbul is my favourite Kebab/pizza shop in great Yarmouth.

Used these guys a few times, but the last couple of times have been turned into a complete shambles :(Three weeks ago we ordered from Istanbul after always having a great service on previous occasions. Food was ordered, job done... Or so I thought. After waiting for an hour and a half and still no food, we rang, no one had a clue where our order was... First it had been delivered then it hadn't and finally they admitted it was on its way. It arrived. Cold. Then we discovered half of the order was missing. We phoned. They apologised. We accepted. Then last night we decided it must have been a one off issue and ordered again as we had been at work/out most of the day.This time the food arrived earlier than expected which was great. But yet again, missing food, stuff we hadn't ordered, cold, just not nice. And is there a pita bread shortage in the area I am not aware of? We order them but never receive?? Anyway, we won't be giving them chance #3. Such a disappointment because when they get it right, their food is actually really nice...

We ordered a mixed kebab chips and Chicken. Then we walked home and our supper was delivered. One of the best kebabs i have eaten. It was huge enough for two people.

Not visited but have been having chicken kebabs etc delivered most Saturdays for years, always very nice, lovely fresh salad and plenty of nicely cooked chicken, friendly polite staff.

One of the best Kebabs in the town and easy reach for tourists! The lads are friendly and help you out and always get your food quick and hot to you.No issues or complaints just a great meal every time. So grab a kebab or pizza and head to the beach. Wonderful food and staff who care about there trade. Can't fault it apart from the piece of paper in window.

I call and eat from Istanbul quite often. The guys treat you well, they remember you and deliver as fast as possible (given that all is made fresh). The establishment itself is very clean and organised.

Not particularly cheap for a kebab, but you do get a lot of food. The lads in there were quite quiet, but the food was decent.

Lovely kebab late at night or maybe just tastes good when your pissed lol fun times the late night kebab what more can i say ......;-)

After ordering a Large Doner Kebab, cheesecake, and a bottle of coke at half 1 in the morning I had to wait 45 minutes for my meal, only to be told they'd forgotten my bottle of coke. I was really looking forward to that pepsi too..
