Hemsby Kebab & Pizza House in Great Yarmouth

We always have a takeaway from here while on holiday in the area and in the past its always been very tasty and well worth the money, this time it was tasty but did not seem to be the same standard as other visits, the prices have gone up but the portions were a lot smaller.

Food wasnt great if im honest pizza toppings and cheese just slid off taste wasnt there chicken wings like rubber but people inside were friendly and helpful .. get some better quality food and place will be better

Pizza was good hot and tasty if a little greasy. Avoid kebab the meat was cold. Really quite Poor. Will not return. The chilli sauce was really good though on the kebab.

Typically mass produced chip shop/ fast food pizza. Totally incomparable to Papa John's. Asked for chicken and anchovie extra toppings on my garlic/mushroom pizza and couldn't find/taste/ detect any?! Husband ordered cheese/ tomato pizza with toppings of onion and cheese, again totally undetectable. Cheap and cheerful pizza house which serves its purpose to it's own type of clientele.

Heard good things so tried it, couldn't finish a mixed kebab so massive portions , only thing was I asked for onion and burger sauce got nothing and mayo, but was still bloody handsome

Had a kebab from here last night,bit sceptical but boy were we suprised,fresh,hot,and a giant of a kebab,absolute 5 star plus,hope we come to Hemsby again j8st for the kebab :))

They told me they would give me a refund but the asked for the stone cold pizza back even tho it was in bin will never use again and will not recommend to anyone. Scammers

Ordered via just eat app as we were out and about we collected the pizzas the food was piping hot and tasty we both agree the best pizza we have had for a long time

Called into Istanbul shop very clean and it went all down hill from there. Ordered our meal which was doner kebab, chips and pizza. The server took our money which were notes and gave us change. He then proceeded to take out the pizza dough, handled all the ingredients and put into oven. He then received another order by this time he took out a daw burger and put onto the griddle and then removed and handled my pitta bread and filled with doner meat without washing his hands or sanitizing them after handling money and raw meat and then proceeded to make up an order with raw meat on his hands and the cash he had taken for the order. I tried to bring this to his attention but he understood but cared to not take any notice . He turned his back on myself. Wrapped the order up put it on the counter and walked away. There was plenty of hand sanitizer in the customer area but I am afraid the hygiene and customer care ended there. I thought all take a away outlets followed covid regulations but I am afraid this outlet doesn't and the food after reheating was a total let down.

We had a mixed meat kebab 2 cheese burgers jacket potatoe chips the only thing that was edible was the jacket potatoe the burgers over cooked nasty never again all went in the bin £27.50 down the drain .....

Easily one of the best kebabs I’ve ever had, Pitty they don’t deliver to Peterborough ! , inside was clean and staff were professional, I highly recommend this establishment this isn’t your standard “kebab shop”

Had chicken shish the chicken was fantastic. The kids had nuggets pizza and burgers and they was good too. Would recommend. The mrs really enjoyed the chicken shish and shes fussy about chicken.

We had a takeout from here it was lovely and hot on time we were on holiday and would reccommend to anyone and proper garlic sauce.

It’s hard to decide what’s good and bad in the kebab world, but I’ve had a few kebabs from here and never had any problem , It is std takeaway Food , no problem visiting again

Ordered from here as it was the only place open really late (was in Scratby for the weekend).I wanted a curry as there looks to be some amazing curry houses in the area, but I left it too late, so had to have a pizza.The pizza took 1 hour to arrive, but that is what was stated so no problem.The garlic bread and pizza were a little soggy but certainly edible.You can't compare places like this to Dominos or Pizza Hut but it was good.Ordered a hot pizza with extra onions and chilli and I had loads of extras of both, so very please at that.Would I order from there again? Probably Yes.

Went to this kebab place started queuing and all of a sudden got to the front and sold out all I said was you could have let me know when I was get close and got abused by the staff terrible place wouldn't go back if you give me a million pound very upset.

When I went to this place I thought that it was bad in fact I was reluctant to buy from it because all I could see were 5 Asians sweating and making food, I ordered pizza and wedges the pizza was ok cause it only cost £7.99 but to pay nearly £3 for 4 wedges I thought was bad when I ate the food it was amazing and believe it or not he staff were very friendly.

Me and my partner enjoyed the food I did enjoy my kebab and my partner enjoyed her scampi and chips.

ordered a pizza via just eat, delivered quite quickly and was very nice, even had some added extras, not ordered, thought id got the wrong one as olives were on it and i hate them on pizza.. overall no complaints here

He utilizado este nuevo establecimiento y la comida nos pareció bien mientras vas conseguir y comer acabamos teniendo enseguida. He probado kebabs mejor y cuando he solicitado una casa de pizza que han enviado la ordinaria y no la base de la barbacoa, como había solicitado. Podrían hacer mejor mediante el mejoramiento de la calidad de los pinchos.

Ordered takeaway online, received email confirming they had received order. Tracked progress, stated it was being cooked. Waited 90 minutes, tried phoning, number didn't exist and takeaway didn't arrive. Luckily we didn't pay online! What a scam!

Visited during the week on way home from work. Reasonable kebab, tried ordering tonight for take away for Fleggburgh but despite delivering to Filby and Rollesby that 0.5 mile was too far. Invited me to take two small children to shop to collect. Just use Caister instead!

Used these many a time. Lucky enoiugh to live in Hemsby. Good quality food and prompt polite service

Popped into shop to get a takeaway. Ordered a family feast. Not too long a wait. Walked back to chalet (a good 20 min walk) as driver had a drink (just one, but good police presence round this area). Unpacked food when got in, no drink, no salad, wrong sauces. Tried to phone shop but gave up after half an hour. Spent most of night on loo as meat was so greasy. Went in next day and was basically told 'tough luck'. Been before and never had any problems, but never going back again.

Stayed in Hemsby for a family birthday weekend and popped in here on Friday night for a bite to eat. Two meals and a two drinks not bad for just over £10.00. Food was yummy too. However the restaurant itself left a lot to be desired, very old and dated, had that certain 'chip fat' smell which wasn't very pleasant. Also, no plates, proper cutlery or glasses. More of a takeaway with a couple of tables to sit at. Noticed on the menu that they delivered to all holiday parks in the area so thought great on our last night we will order in to our caravan. Called up to place an order and was told they don't deliver, despite the menu advising otherwise. Were told that it was an old menu, despite picking it up two days prior. Great for take out collection, not so great to eat in and definitely not great for delivery.

What can I say truly the best kebab I've eaten in a long time

Visited a couple of times while on holiday. The staff were all polite. Fair prices and alright food.

Nice food had the family meal well worth the money feed 4 adults and 2 kids went there twice worth a try

Just ordered pizza salad and chips and delivered to chalet very quick and food was hot and delicious everything cooked lovely Def recommend if any one in the area
