Fantastic good, chips are tasty and the perfect portion size. Chicken nuggets good quality too. Fast delivery and within the stated time scale. Food was hot on delivery, No items missing from the order - all items received. Very competitive pricing - look forward to returning here soon.

I go to Charlie’s once a week for my family of 3 we never have any problems with our meal. Nice friendly staff, beautiful fish cooked to perfection by experienced chef’s you will never want any other chip shop again. I live two minutes away and even when I see the staff in the street when not working there also still friendly and helpful I would highly recommend Charlie’s. Much love noddy, Mia and Lilly

The best tasting Fish and Chips i have tasted for a long time. A must when visiting and a little hard to find but well worth making the effort for.

I am absolutely disgusted by this place. Waited over an hour for food from 10 minutes down the road....to then ring up and be told its 2 minutes away....20 minutes later the we get a phone call to be told I have to go all the way down 4 flight of stairs and we haven't given the right code...(we have the right code)! Then some silly girl still on the phone then said oh do I have to push the code then push the gate....? Well obviously it's not gonna swing open for you....and then when I answer the door all I hear is the price of what they want and some girl standing there saying well it's not my fault is it repeating herself while time at the door...I will never ever recommend this placement and will never ever be ordering again! Disgusting behaviour all round!!!!!!!!

where we live you just cant get a good takeaway ( all Halal) so as you do when on holidays you just have to have fish& chips . We loved them just good old English fish & chips

Went in last night for 2 portions of chips, didn't expect to wait 20 minutes. No explanation from the woman serving just left to stand there wondering if the chips will ever be ready. Whilst she sat on the counter eating burnt onion rings and checking her phone. Customer service non existent, chips looked pale and unappetizing, tasted a bit better than they looked won't bother with Charlies again.

Full of grease, chips were horrible fish was all batter. Best thing I can say about this is the dog ate it.

Having recently starting to use Charlies I have found the chips to be well cooked and the food in general very tasty. But I must say the portion sizes are very meagre for what they cost. If it wasn't for my watchful eye I would of been a sausage short on my order too. So overall food is great portions are poor.

Been using this chippy for many years when I visit mum in Great Yarmouth but never again as they have lost my respect and that of my family. If you want good customer service try elsewhere they do not deserve your business. If you advertise a closing time of 10pm you should close at that time surely (if you have no problems of course) but tonight the staff decided to close early.I arrived as they were locking the door at 9.30pm, I asked why they were shut and received short sharp unwarranted abuse, obviously they did not care that I had made a special trip. Well as their wages depend on customers, and regular customers especially in winter, then this business has just kissed goodbye to £20 a week from my family, what retail business can afford to lose regularly trade?Go elsewhere this business does not deserve your custom..

We had fish and chips delivered to the door last Friday night, didn’t even know you could get them delivered phoned up ordered with a very nice lady ,didn’t wait long then they were at the door plus they were the best fish and chips we have ever tasted would definitely recommend it.

We ordered through just eat. Store put back delivery time which is fine for such bad weather. But it then arrived 25 minutes after the adjusted time. It was stone cold not eatable. We complained and just eat sorted a refund which never arrived. When we complained again the next day we were told the store was now refusing the refund. Which we were glad to recieve from just eat who should not have to be out of pocket for charlies poor service and going back on their word. I wiill not use this take again. Mistakes happen sure dealing with them by offering refunds and then refusing them is not customer service.

Placed an order, didn't bother to take my mobile number so was trying to deliver 2 miles away. Arrived warm at best and had to warm up in the microwave.

I have used these for takeaways for a while and last night excelled themselves. Orddring battered skate is a sacrilege but could not resist and omg! It was a large wing (only way to enjoy skate) and cooked to perfection. The chips were golden and piping hot. Going to order a take in for mum on Saturday and I know she will be delighted.

We came across this chip shop completely by accident as it's off the main routes in Yarmouth. We were walking home from the museums and everyone was tired and hungry - they were excellent chips but I didn't see anything veggie. Those who had the fish were very impressed and the staff were friendly and served quickly.

it's disappointing you slack on time with your food, because the food I am usually impressed with, this is the 4th time I've ordered this year and I'm still so angry! I order ONE portion of chips and ONE sausage?! and it takes 2 hours...

just ordered larg fish and chips kid meal larg chicken nuggets 1/2 chicke and chip the fish was very large well cooket the only thing that icansay bad is it took 1 houre to get ito us iv had fish and chip from a lot of places in yarmouth the best thing is they deliver

I have had 3 orders from Charlie's Fish bar, the first two were outstanding and I looked forward to the 3rd one which was not a patch on the other two.Tonight at about 9pm I placed an order for two meals and it was declined . There was no reason given. I assumed it might be the Plaice was out of stock and o I reordered with Cod. It was declined and no reason given. I tried a third time and declined again with no reason given. I did not have time to go looking for other places to order a meal and so at a time when I should be having my shower and putting my feet up after a long very hard day, I have had to rummage around in my freezer and found a bag of cocktail sausages, a packet of crisps in the cupboard. I am absolutely starving and tired and have the 20 small sausage things baking in the oven at the moment. I have a party of 8 people tomorrow afternoon who were going to try this Fish Bar I've told them about, but I doubt we'll bother after I tell them what my meal is tonight.

Always my first port of call upon arriving in Yarmouth (having been visiting for years) and as usual was not disappointed. Haddock was freshly cooked to order.Cannot fault.

Visited on first day of our holiday, ordered 2 x child's fish, chips and mushy peas and 2 x medium fish, chips and mushy peas and batter bits on all. £23 something. Waited and waited......they are a 'just eat' takeaway and the takeaway orders took priority over customers standing in front of them. I had to ask where ours was after quite a wait. However, when we did get our food it was delicious and fresh but they forgot the batter bits which both my sons were disappointed.

Took my scout troop to Gt Yarmouth on the train for end of term treat and adventure golf. We hadn't booked but approached Charlie's for 23 large portions of chips and received excellent service and surprisingly quickly cooked. Excellent service all round and fantastic chips they were too they all enjoyed them.Well recommended.

We were part of a large order so we had to wait a little while for our food but when it came it was fresh and well cooked.I would certainly get my dinner from here again, very happy.

Decent chips and reliable for a nice piece of battered rock, my preferred option here. Good consistency having bought from here many times. They also do chicken. One of the best value for money places in Yarmouth.

Excellent quality fried chips every time I have visited the premises, never had to wait more then a few minutes in a cue even when busy...Staff are on the ball, great team and friendly... It's great to have such a good chip shop on my doorstep and will miss it when I move down the road....But luckily they deliver if you ring them up can order through just eat...

We had fresh cooked Skate in a light crispy batter and chips. Delivered to our door, piping hot and fresh.I would highly recommend their range of fish which includes Cod, Haddock, Skate and Rock and other seasonal catches, available locally.This is a long established business with an excellent reputation for quality and value, used by visitors and locals alike.

I went with family for a Miami break to Yarmouth and previously have visited this Chippie. So twice whilst visiting again it was a no brainier to come again. It makes a change to have a good selection and good prices, also be open until around 11 pm. We often go to the theatre, cinema or the circus and often feel peckish after. The staff are always welcoming and whilst waiting in line do massive orders over the phone. Top marks, very tasty and excellent portion size and variety. We will be back.

I had rock and chips from Charlie's last night and now, 23 hours later, I'm finally hungry again! I've never seen such huge portions of fish, and so perfectly cooked, too. I also ordered a small portion of chips to go with it, but they went largely uneaten, despite being really, really good chips, because the fish was so big! This is without a doubt the best local chippy I've ever had in my life...though next time I will probably order fish and peas in the hopes I can finish it all.

This is one of the best and they deliver! Yes get your Cod and chips to your door. Lovely food and always tasty. Recommend them anytime as the chip shop to get a take away.Never had a bad meal yet and doubt I will have nothing but the best from them.

This use to be the best chippy in Yarmouth but not anymore, it was disgusting. I heard it's under new ownership but kept Charlies name.

whenever im in yarmouth i always have some haddock form charlies. Its still the best, fresh and very tasty even after all these years.

Phoned order for delivery, took over 45 minutes to get to me! Food was cold when it came. Ordered large chips and all I can say is I've seen more chips in a child's happy meal,and was fully of little crispy bits. Paid £1.60 for a large battered sausage, it was a cheap stodgy sausage with hardly any batter. Won't be using again!!!!

This is the BEST chip shop in Yarmouth. The smell when you walk in is like no other chip shop, the food is always fresh. Staff are alway friendly.Great food. Great price. go go go.

We had a delivery last night and it was fantastic!!! The portions were brilliant for the money and considering he had to travel ten minutes to get to us the food was hot and tasty!! Great value for money and great service!!
