I have been visiting Center Parcs annually for the past seven years as part of our family winter tradition. Unfortunately, the experience at the Sports Café has continued to decline, showing no improvement from last year, which was already the worst of my visits. Instead of addressing the issues, things have only gotten worse. The menu has remained unchanged for years, offering little variety or unique appeal. Despite the lack of innovation in their offerings, prices continue to rise to unjustifiable levels. For example, a five-piece children’s breakfast costs £7.95, which breaks down to nearly £1.80 for a single slice of bacon—a clear example of poor value for money. It’s disheartening to see how the mismanagement of this location has eroded the once warm, family-oriented atmosphere that made Center Parcs special. The environment now feels overly corporate and sterile, seemingly focused solely on extracting the maximum financial return from its visitors rather than creating a memorable experience. This year, the parc is noticeably quieter than I’ve ever seen, and without significant changes or a fresh vision, I fear it may not survive another decade. It’s a shame to watch such a beloved destination lose its charm and appeal. My advice: enjoy what’s left of it while you still can.

Absolutely delicious meal out as a couple, I had the fillet steak and my partner had the chilli, lovely food and brilliant service. We was put off by the bad reviews but decided to go anyway and I am so glad we did. Will definitely be booking for next time. Thank you x

Come here regularly with my wheelchair bound Mum, Dad and unruly terrier. Staff are lovely and food is of a very high standard. Had the duck special with a kale and hazelnut pesto that was so good I begged for the recipe. Most of the food is sourced from the estate which makes it extra special. One of my favourite places and super magical at Christmas time. Will be back in a few weeks for a good Christmas roast.

Now renamed as GreenBox Sushi, this Japanese restaurant is no longer a buffet. Inside the seating is very dark and dingy, with delivery supplies and clutter over half of the tables. We decided to eat outside as it was lovely weather. The menu we were given to browse was paper stapled together, no lamination or design. When ordering I asked for coke, which was on their menu, they didn’t have coke so we had to opt for Pepsi. When taking my food order the receptionist told me that they were busy with lots of deliveries and had to go ask the kitchen staff if it was okay to take my order! I had the tofu ramen and my partner had the pork ramen with a side of gyozas. Gyozas were fried instead of steamed, no sauce provided and were luke warm in the middle. I believe they cost £6.50, so from a price point this is quite underwhelming. However the ramen was delicious! We opted for the spicy broth and it went lovely with the tofu and beansprouts! Definitely would recommend the ramen as it’s full of flavour and quite a large portion! I was again disappointed that the cutlery provided was a fork and spoon. We eat Japanese and Chinese cuisine often at home as I’m a huge fan of recreating dishes, we are used to eating with chopsticks and it felt very wrong eating ramen with a fork! I would suggest investing in washable steel chopsticks, that way you save chopstick waste but keep the authentic Asian feeling.

My wife and I sometimes come here for lunch on Sunday or occasionally stop for dinner. The buffets (both cavery & chinese) offer a good selection and are well stocked. One of out favourite local eateries.

I bought sesame prawn toast last night, and discovered after I had eaten a whole peice, that it seemed a bit meaty, and not tasting right. So I pulled one apart, and discovered that they have pressed down a peice of poultry,or at least I think it was.to the bread, and covered the mystery meat with sesame seeds. I will now be reporting them,as I don't know what I ate,and someone could get ill from an allergic reaction. And there was no shrimp paste at all.

The Pancake House used to be the highlight meal of our stay. Sadly, no more. Whereas the pancakes used to be freshly made Dutch style with the ingredients cooked within, they are now three smaller pancakes which, I presume, are warmed up. I've always ordered the Banoffee, where the pancake is moist and the banana is cooked with the pancake and deliciously warm. Now, the pancakes are really dry and luke warm with a handful of sliced banana stuck on top, no ice cream, a few squirts of cream and some sauce on top. There are no longer different sizes options - pancake or waffle are the only options. We used to come out feeling full to the brim, but today, we came out still hungry. Honestly, I couldn't be more disappointed and let down. We complained to the waitress about the poor quality, but were just told to write a review on the feedback from at the end of our stay.

We didn’t really eat here, apart from a tasty but small bowl of chips. The atmosphere is great, plenty of space, plenty of places to sit. Lots and lots of tv screens with all sport showing. Staff are very accommodating, turning tv stations over for guests to watch different matches. Floor service available and drinks/ food can be brought to your table. Giant screen which is brilliant to watch!

What we had was good, however, according to the Blackboard the meat was Beef, Chicken, or Gammon. Unless you are known to Chef, after we had eaten he came and offered two guests LAMB.. I will attach a picture of our ‘Large’ portions. That is unless you are known to chef, then your portion is considerably larger. Note, the small flat piece of Yorkshire pudding, or at least I think that’s what it is supposed to be. Four, yes four sprouts, I actually asked our lovely waitress if she were sure that these were large portions. Note one slice of parsnip, one slice of sweet potato, that mushed up white stuff is cauliflower cheese and sloppy broccoli. I made my issues known, it’s simply not good enough to give preferential treatment to regulars, unfortunately we are local and were just out for a Sunday lunch. Like I said what we had was nice, and graciously and politely served, but if you know chef you will get larger, large portions. Don’t go here if you don’t know chef.

We travel 8 miles to collect as the Chinese restaurants in the town where we live are poor. Peach Bower provide large portions and are generous with the meat and prawns which are good quality. I had the king prawn Kung po, the prawns were huge and plenty of them. I was impressed. Worth the money and the journey ! Will definitely come here all the time now. Highly recommended. Thank you and so glad we have found a good restaurant.

Called in on way back from beach. Ordered small fish and chips. £9.70!! I was the only one in the shop 3.15 and one person serving. Got back to my van and the fish was like a mini sardine so small and the chips were dry shrivelled and most probably started their life the night before. I also noticed from the leaflet I picked up that I should have been charged about £6 as there was an offer on. I phoned to complain 6 times but no one answered so took it back and got my money back. Second time this has happened load of old trash. Never again.

Professional and friendly staff served us efficiently and clearly told us there would be a 10min wait. The double pepperoni pizza had lots of topping and was really tasty. The kebab was lovely, hot and tasty even after the 10min drive, salad was plentiful, fresh and crisp with plenty of meat. We were impressed and our bellies satisfied. Not bad for less than £20 for a 12" pizza and medium lamb doner.
