Absolutely delicious meal out as a couple, I had the fillet steak and my partner had the chilli, lovely food and brilliant service. We was put off by the bad reviews but decided to go anyway and I am so glad we did. Will definitely be booking for next time. Thank you x

Having visited This restaurant many times before, I was left very disappointed this time.. Booking Center Parcs to celebrate my birthday I encouraged my family to eat at Hucks as from previous visits it’s always been lovely. On arrival we were greeted by the host who acknowledged my birthday and was very welcoming.As I was wearing a sash and headband, greeting us he said rest assured to be embarrassed by our waiting team. We sat down ordered drinks, Waitress then approached our table to take our food order, She was very rude off handed and not once acknowledged my birthday. Food then came, I ordered a plain burger which came as just that with no salad garnish and didn’t look appetising at all. My partner ordered a cheese and bacon burger and his cheese and bacon were like rubber and cold. My friend’s food again was the same and just so disappointing. We were then cleared of our plates and the waitress just said do you want a dessert or not!!!! We declined. We sat and waited as the table next to us had a few staff members around their table signing happy birthday , so we thought as the host had said that they would acknowledge me and my birthday, we sat and waited a moment. Nothing happened, so after 10mins we asked for the bill and then left. We didn’t complain as it was my birthday and I felt upset and didn’t want to make a fuss but this did spoil my night. I don’t mind not being wished happy birthday but the staff were rude and food not great. For the price as well this was so disappointing. I have large family who normally dine in Hucks so we won’t be returning.

Quite disappointed by the bland food. I enjoyed my nachos more than the sizzling wraps even though they smelt great there wasn’t much flavour there. This place is quite pricey but as its center parks you expect the mark up. Staff were friendly although I hate having to ask for drinks. Wouldn’t return.

Service was excellent however, food was absolutely dreadful. The beef burger was 100% processed; I have never eaten something so awful. Would suggest opting for chicken. The beef was literally the same as one of those Rustler burgers from the supermarket. Chips were nice, however for the £25pp minimum, would not recommend!

Food was ok and worth visiting for! Service was minimal- a step lower and I would have collected myself! Just deduct the service charge and all is good!

This place has most definitely gone down hill. We were greeted by someone who didn’t even so much as smile at us when we walked in the door. We then sat down and after we ordered our food it came out within around 10 minutes which had me wondering how considering as my partner had ordered slow cooked pork belly. When all the food came it was honestly so so poor, the chips were chewy and the chips ontop were hot but the ones underneath were cold as if they had been sat under a hot light. Very disappointing as it was our first evening and we usually really enjoy coming here. When we had finished we weren’t asked how our food was so we told our server how unhappy we were but she didn’t seem bothered. Most definitely won’t be returning.

Great burgers, fries, desserts and service. I really enjoyed combining two starters...the loaded skins and the burnt ends of brisket - both very tasty. The starters could be slightly larger, but made a great meal. My wife had the chicken wings and veg loaded skins and really enjoyed those plus a dessert of cookie and ice cream, which she also enjoyed. Whilst there was a bit of a wait for food, as they were very busy, the waitress was cheerful and effective.

The food quality was actually quite good. Given Centre Parcs’ average of ridiculously overpriced, this isn’t too bad in comparison to the others

What an absolute shambles ! We arrived at said booking time and was greeted by sullen receptionist who didn’t even make eye contact ! We were instructed wait in bar guess what no person to serve us but eventually done came and we ordered the very expensive drinks £7 for a pint of Guinness ? On reaching our table we were given menus we all ordered the food came out in drinks and drabs some meals were wrong and were sent back . The standard of what we were served was pretty poor and we left more than we ate despite , I can’t remember anyone asking if the meal was ok ? I did go to guest services and registered my total disappointment and they asked the manager to come and speak to me , she was not interested and said if we had asked her she could have done something before we left the restaurant . We paid £100s of pounds for an inedible meal . We have visited Centre Parks up to 20 times and think the standard has dropped considerably I don’t think my party of 12 will be returning , bye bye Centre Parks .

We were really looking forward to our meal at Hucks but were left extremely displeased for a number of reasons: - had to wait in the bar area to be seated despite booking a table and it not being overly busy - we had a long table and waitress passed drinks to the first person each time, instead of delivering them along the table, which was odd. - many items out of stock on menu. - half the group got their food when the other half had to wait around ten mins, it only arrived after we asked. - burger was a very cheap processed patty with minimal toppings. Small amount of fries. - waitress asked how the meal was as she was walking past and was clearly not interested in a response as didn’t even look at us and had walked off before we had the chance to answer. - Table wasn’t cleared, didn’t ask for the bill and waitress turned up with card machine. We felt very rushed through the meal and out of restaurant. - All in all, we felt rushed and unwelcome. A very unfortunate experience given our other great meals out elsewhere at Centre Parcs.

Well what can I say. We are 3 families here together for a weekend. - we booked Hucks for the Saturday night. Total of 16! One table- the waitress Emma was brilliant, she adapted her approach to the younger and older kids accordingly, they all thought she was fab. She was brilliant with us adults- funny but professional - really added something to our evening. She was on point with all our orders, kept us entertained when serving. One of the best waitresses we have ever had the pleasure to come across. Super job Emma! Some waitresses just chuck the food at you- this lady was a true professional and made our experience one I won’t forget!! Thankyou xx

Great family meal. I had the New York strip and it was cooked perfectly, one of the best sirloins I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The burgers were good too

Visited hucks twice whilst we were here. The first time we were served by Lou, who was brilliant nothing was too much trouble. Her interaction with my family was so friendly. Had a lovely evening. The second time we visited was disappointing. Waited at the bar for 20 minutes being ignored by the staff. When we were seated waited again for a drink. The atmosphere wasn't as good as the first evening. 😕

Stayed at Centre Parcs in Elveden for a long weekend. First night was Hucks night! Great service and delicious food. Staff couldn't be more helpful. 10/10

A wide ranging menu: something for everyone. Good portions of delicious food very well presented. Excellent service despite a busy evening. Particular mention should be made of our waitress Dawn: very personable and attentive. All the family enjoyed our evening out. We would definitely recommend Hucks at Elveden

We decided to stop by as the menu looked good. The food was fine but what really made our evening was our server Jade. She was so chatty and welcoming even though the place was packed and kept coming over to check on us. Drinks came quickly and plenty which helped with the wait for the food. It was a tad on the longer side.
