Peach Bower in Forest Heath

We travel 8 miles to collect as the Chinese restaurants in the town where we live are poor. Peach Bower provide large portions and are generous with the meat and prawns which are good quality. I had the king prawn Kung po, the prawns were huge and plenty of them. I was impressed. Worth the money and the journey ! Will definitely come here all the time now. Highly recommended. Thank you and so glad we have found a good restaurant.

Tasteless, undercooked chicken, when I opened the container there was a fly, something I didn't order. Meal was overpriced and will never go back!!!

Was very disappointed after collecting a very expensive take away. The dishes were tasteless and the chicken was rubbery. The curry sauce didn’t taste like curry sauce and the chop suey was too sweet. Won’t be using again

If I order an extremely overpriced chicken dish. General tso’s. I really don’t expect a third of the tub to be filled with broccoli. They never used to do this. Just another way of ripping us off. I called them to be told “we put broccoli with everything now!! What an answer Avoid at all costs!!

Never in my life have I had a Chinese so bad. We had salt and pepper ribs and salt and pepper king prawns. They were tasteless and bland. Seaweed well that tasted like it was done in old fat. Then mains well boring bland tasteless chicken in garlic and beef and green pepper in black bean sauce. The rating 1 was for the egg fried rice which was ok. Never again, I love my Chinese food but it was the pits. Sorry.

Soooooo over priced. Used to be our go to but now charging way too much. Will not be going back. £8 for rice is absolutely ridiculous. I know the cost of living increase but £3 more than your competitors is a bit much. £2.50 for delivery within a mile is also scandalous. £38 from Lakenheath takeaway or £55.50 for the same order from peach bower!! We lived in Lakenheath and Rising star is the best. Do yourself a favour avoid at all costs.

If this review were a Sherlock Holmes story it would be called 'The case of the invisible prawn crackers and the incredibly tiny prawn toasts' Visiting family, someone decided to order and collect Chinese food and try Peach Bower rather than the impeccable King's Garden. We live, we learn. Starting with the positives: the main meals were a good portion size with good quality meat, plentiful veg, good sauce and it was hot when we picked it up. Unfortunately, the free prawn crackers we were told had been put in our bag appear to be invisible. Sadly we've misplaced our magic wand so went without. We also seem to have paid almost 6 quid for 4 prawn toasts. 4 of them. Not even enough to start a five a side team. The large portion of rice also seemed to be underfilled and a bit clumpy. Although it was a reasonably flavoured meal we are a bit concerned about the portion sizes and the previously mentioned mysteries. Where's Sherlock Holmes when you need him? Back to King's Garden next time...

I always use peach bowers and love the food. I love the shredded duck chow mein it's so tender and delicious

Excellent food, delivered to the center parcs entrance. One of our party required gluten free & with some Chinese restaurants this would be almost impossible as Chinese food contains Wheat in some form in most dishes. But after calling them and speaking to a lovely lady about what we needed Peach bower were able to provide a tasty gluten-free Chinese dish, they were very knowledgable about gluten containing ingredients in their food, which was very reassuring. Along with the rest of our order we all enjoyed a really lovely Chinese takeaway and will definitely go back there when in the area again. Highly recommended A******

As part of our annual pilgrimage to Centerparcs, we always book a meal at this local Chinese. The food is amazing and the service has always been fantastic. This year due to the pandemic, the restaurant quite rightly wasn't open, so we all ordered a takeaway. Again the service was superb, food was cooked fresh to order and ready just after we arrived as agreed for collection. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you are stopping at the Elveden centerparcs or anywhere near Brandon in Suffolk.

I rang up with a 31.00 pound order , and the lady asked if i could go up to 35 .00 as I lived 4miles away so she suggested spring roll , the price is now 40.00 um no then she said what about a can of coke , ok I thought now comes to 39.00 no that's ridiculous, I live 4 miles away what a rip of may be ok food but taking the piss in this currant climate need 2 take a reality check, could of had 35 quid of food but um no ridiculous..

Absolutely disgraceful service!! When I was on the phone I got told the minimum spend was £30 for delivery ...which I assumed would be free!! when the food got here I noticed I had been charge nearly £8 extra !!!! When I rung up to ask what the extra £8 was for she told me it was for delivery!! When I said I wouldn’t be ordering from there again she simply said “ok” and hung up !! Very rude, bland food and a piss poor service !! AVOID AVOID AVOID

So me and my family has lived in Brandon for 9 years now and I've tried all of the chinese restaurants around my area and by far Peach Bower is one of the best, unfortunately their restaurant is closed but me and my family is happy that their takeaways and deliveries are open. Their food is very delicious!

This is our first choice he we fancy a take away, is good quality food and always hot when we get it home, lots of choice

We’ve had takeaway twice in the last month and both times it was excellent. Sweet and sour chicken and prawn balls were lovely and crispy, no undercooked batter inside like you get in many restaurants. Food was fresh and tasty. Clearly the management have turned a corner, well done!

We book a table for 8 on new years day fabulous food as always highly recommend did the hongkong syle king prawns and pancake roll was stunning fresh this must be our 8th time at the Peach bower never disappoints NEVER

Come to this Chinese restaurant for take-away at least once a month, and has never disappointed. I have severe nut allergies yet they are able to tell me what nuts are in what. Have gone in to the actual restaurant several times too, the atmosphere is lovely and calm and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly. Overall a lovely place to go.

My wife and I were in this wonderful Chinese restuarant. The food is always delicious and well presented. The stsff are always friendly. The owners always come and speak with us. This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it.

Family of four at nearby camp site worn out from hiking dogs through the forest decided to have a takeaway. Had no idea what we wanted so googled local places this one was nearby and open so off we went. Glad we did. The food was excellent the service was very good and the staff were friendly if we ever come back to the forest we will be back

We have lived in the UK for about 6 months now and have tried 5 other Chinese restaurants and this one is by far the best! It's nice that they have a button on the table to push if you need your waitress.

Where to begin?We tried in January to have my birthday lunch at this restaurant. Their website stated they were open. When we got there they were closed! On this occasion I booked in advance for a lunch-time sitting. We arrived on time and yes, they were CLOSED! I walked to the take-away area and saw staff in there. I rang them on my mobile x3 times and I could here they phone ringing but no reply. I could SEE staff in side so I knocked on the door. I was totally ignored even though they walk past the door I was standing outside of. A courier arrived at the same time as me with a delivery for the restaurant and was met by the same rude attitude.They had my mobile number so if there was a problem they could have rung me to cancel our booking but they did not.This was to be a birthday treat for my husband, so well done Peach Bower for spoiling his day, we will not be calling on you again ever.

Having visited this restaurant before and appsolutely loving it, this time we had a takeaway and again it was fantastic much better than any takeaway in my home town (Downham Market) will definitely be back.

This restaurant has delicious Chinese food. My family ordered about 7 different dishes off the menu and they were all tasty. The portion sizes were a little small for the price but all in all we were pleased with the experience and will be returning for sure.

Elveden. This is the worst take away I have ever had and at a extortionate price if only I could give a 0 in the rating. The singapore noodles where not Singapore noodles at all. Absolutely no flavour or hint of spice but small spaghetti in a water based mix and the so called chinese style beef curry was basically bits of beef in a weak gravy sauce which resembled nothing like a chinese. We ordered last year also which was just as bad but gave it the benefit of doubt it would be better but how wrong where we. I seriously would stay away from this and look for a local delivery company to to deliver to the main gate.

Very disappointed this evening. We rang to order a delivery and I was told that if the restaurant is busy they will not accept card payments over the phone. As they have the facilities to take card payment, it's rude that they pick and choose when they would like to make the effort to take the payment. Even more annoying, we were paying extra for a delivery charge. They have a couple of very polite people working in the counter. One girl looks like she never wants to be there and never cracks a smile. A real shame as the food is nice. Take away prices are average, restaurant prices are to high.

We a party of 5 had buffet meal on the 26th September it was stunning from the start to the end amazing service and top class food we have never had such good Chinese food that is why we keep going back and introducing more of our friends Thank you Eva and Peter and your friendly staff

We went here on Saturday with friends and our experience from start to finish was not impressive! The waitress took 3 attempts to take our orders (apparently blaming the i-pad she was using) It turns out she had only been there a week and clearly hadn't had training! Our main meals arrived in stages so some of us were waiting on things like rice etc before we could start our meals, hence the mains were going cold! Not huge portions like I read on this site and other review sites. Then we ordered coffee and a tea. The girl came back to us saying that the Chef had said they couldnt do it as they'd run out of milk and the milk they had was "off"!!!! Yuk! When I asked if she couldnt go out and buy some, she said she wasn't allowed??!! We summoned the owner and told her what had happened and she stormed off and then the girl came back with some money and told us she was going to buy some milk. The coffee and tea came and we were only given half a cup of each! when questioned, the girl said that she thought we were having milk in it so she only gave us 1/2 a cup! We had, had enough by then so I complained to the owner who was very apologetic and said she wouldn't charge us for them! All i all a really bad experience and will NOT be going back!

Lovely meal, pleasant intimate atmosphere and friendly staff. Salt and pepper squid starter was most enjoyable.

Called in for a takeaway after a wet day at Snetterton circuit in need of of some warming food. The young lady who served us was very efficient and friendly and the food was served up promptly. Still piping hot when we sat down to eat 15 minutes later the food was very tasty and the portion size more than adequate. We will certainly return in the future.

Visited whilst staying in Brandon. Food was tasty with large portions, only issue was that we ordered chicken in lemon sauce but it didnt come with any sauce!

I stopped in on the advice of a local and decided to eat in. I saw a plate of spare ribs come out and decided I had to try them. I asked for the sauce on the side as I prefer dry ribs but to my delight, the sauce was excellent. My second dish was Prawns in black bean sauce which was very nicely done as well.

It has been nearly five years since I reviewed the Peach Bower. Since then we have eaten there or had takeaway on several occasions, though my most recent visit was after a gap of over a year. That said, the quality of the cooking has remained high, and the PB still offers good value for money.

Ordered for the first time a selection of Chinese food, some spicy and some not. All very good, the chicken balls were filled with lovely large portions of chicken breast. The King Po beef was very spicy, the chowmein was great. None of the food was greasy.

This Chinese is about as Chinese as a tandoori restaurant is Indian. I was expecting baskets of boiled stuff and fermented eggs or even scorpions on a stick but it was a standard Chinese. This didn't make my experience a bad one. It was basically take away food on a plate. The service was good, the food wasn't bad either. It was the first time I saw a bell on the edge of the table to call for assistance. The restaurant was small and empty so luckily I didn't have to use it. This place is about 5 minutes walk from the station.

Ordered vegetable spring rolls, ate half of one and then found chicken chunks in it. Wouldn’t be a problem if I’d have ordered chicken spring rolls and wasn’t a vegetarian. Absolutely appalled.

Spent £40 on a takeaway and was unable to eat any of it, the only thing that was ok was the cans of coke. My partner ordered a new spicy box which arrived looking like left overs they had taken from the bin. Everything was swimming in grease, noodles were disgusting and mushy. The pork dish I ordered came in a watery greasy sauce which I’m convinced was gravy granules. The whole lot was horrendous!

The Peach Bower is now under new management, having heard great things about the new team, some friends and I visited last night and we were not disappointed. Delicious food with generous portions and fantastic service. When you are ready for your next course you just push the buzzer on your table and it arrives, perfect!. Most importantly no MSG headache this morning which really says it all.

Title says it all. The crispy pancake rolls (On the takeaway side) were among the best I've had. Very crispy and not at all greasy.

Reading through some of the reviews on here, we were quite surprised as our visit to Peach Bower was extremely positive.

Popped in by chance, as it wasn't a pub, on a recent road trip of the area.

I am sorry to say the last meal was very poor. The meal was overcooked and the sauces excessively sweet and viscous. They appear to be struggling. Clean card menus are desperately needed. If it is does not improve it will go under.

The amount of times prawn crackers have been missing and last time we ordered for pick up we got home NO BBQ sauce instead we got CURRY sauce which non of us like....we rang them and they wanted us to collect which again is 20/25mins just walking there and home again for BBQ sauce. Sorry no you can drop it round ASAP before our food goes cold. 25 minutes later they turn up! I handed them the curry back and said don't bother as we have now finished. I will refuse to spend anymore money with Leah bower. Another occasion on a family meal, I was totally guttered and very angry!!!! I was refunded and we took the WHOLE meal back ! They tried to argue with us and I flatly refused and demanded a refund. They food was cold, tasteless, the chips were cooked many times the sweet chilli was still PINK. The spare ribs had a clean bone in the container. It was horrific, and disgusting! I hope people don't bother using you as your service is diabolical!!!!!!! Very unhappy.

Refused to serve me and wife normal menu because we sat with our extended family having banquet meal.Then charged £1.50 ×2 for 2 jugs of tapwater.

Writing this as I'm in car just left restaurant. The restaurant is very dated & looks horrendous! Menus dirty & terribly laid out. Prawn crackers on arrival ok, but not worth paying for. I ordered a special fried rice & schezuan prawns. The rice had a lot of burnt bits in & as I started to sift through it picking out all the bad bits I thought no way I should be doing this! Sent it back, told the waiter how disgusted I was & walked out! Never again! Wouldn't feed my dog that s**t!

7 phone calls to make a booking, should of known then. Went Friday and was the only one in until we left at 9.00pmStaff friendly but sadly food was bland and tasteless. Most sauces seemed more like bisto gravy than any real Chinese flavour. Even the satay sauce was unrecognisable. No customer service. Three attempts to pay bill

Food was mediocre, service was mediocre. Decided to try it twice to see if we just had an off experience but it was just as bad the second time. Wouldn't recommend or go back.

Really enjoying their take out; my food is always hot, prepared in a timely manner, and the price is spot on. They need to renew their website though as it has been really inconvenient when I needed to see the menu prior to phoning in an order. I still give them an overall 5.

This used to be the best Chinese restaurant for miles, but whether the chef has changed, or for whatever reason, the food is nothing like as good in the past few months. The flavour of dishes is sub standard, and I hope that Billy, the owner, will do something about this very soon before they loose a lot of custom.

I read the reviews just before I visited and so was quite worried, but the food was superb, service was great, could not fault any of it. We were a group of 15 and were looked after really well. Definitely recommend a visit.

My family and I ordered a Chinese takeway tonight and it came to £40 odd, when it arrived they have given us the wrong sauce (we asked for plum sauce) so I rung them back up straight after we saw they made a mistake and the Chinese man on the phone was so rude to me and over talking me constantly and saying it was my fault constantly saying I ordered 'duck' sauce - which we didn't. He kept telling me I was wrong and trying to explain to me the difference in the sauce which I already knew and we asked for the one we wanted but he didn't offer to change it or apologise at all. I couldn't believe how rude he was so I hung up, as I work in the serving industry myself I would of never imagined talking to a customer like he did. We have a few problems before but have brushed it off (for example cold food and wrong orders before but they have always apologied and re sent someone out to change it) I will not be going back to use this Chinese.

I'm a very fussy eater when it comes to Chinese food, peach bower is the better Chinese in brandon, nice food.I have not been in as had some else pick the food up but I'd go there over the others any day

We ordered from our villa at Center Parks and collected from the delivery driver at the CP main gate.Everyone agreed the food was excellent, in fact better than our local takeaway at home, and a lot cheaper than ordering from CP takeaway service. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Brandon area.

We ordered a take away and discovered that my husbands meal was missing, in it's entirety. We phoned and were asked if we could come and collect it. I declined, as we had paid for a delivery, and requested that the food be delivered asap. They did send the food, but, by the time it arrived, everyone else had eaten. This is a regular occurrence at the Peach Bower, the food is not cheap and we have had too many meals ruined by their inability to check the orders properly. They need to have a proper system in place. It has happened to us too many times and, as a result, we will no longer be using the Peach Bower.

Four of us went on a Sat evening and it was really good, the food, the staff, however, as it was middle of October, it could have been warmer in the restaurant.

Awful food, ordered king prawn curry and king prawn fried rice. Prawns almost white in colour and totally tasteless! Shame as it used to be a good take away.Honestly, spend your money elsewhere.

I wonder wot has happened to this Take away/Resturant IV used this place a lot of times I live in Brandon and found this to be the best Chinese out of all, IV always had good Take always and even great meals in the restaurant even the service been great even had banter with the staff and owner but recently the take always we have had has been absolutely disgusting no taste the rice was a lump of slosh It as put me off of even eating a Chinese even talking about it makes me feel nauseous Wot has happened ??? The food is take-away quality rather than restaurant standard. The take away orders seem to take priority, hence incredibly slow service. The management have to take responsibility for leaving an exceptionally untrained waiter as the sole waiter for most of the evening. Example: Me: "Can I have a bottle of Cote du Rhone please.Waiter: A glass of Coke and lemon.Me: No, a bottle of Cote du Rhone.Waiter produces a bottle of CdR in a COOLER packed with ICE.Me: Please don't serve red wine cold. Can I have a different bottle please.Waiter plonks new bottle on the table and moves to leave without even removing the wrapping around the cork, let alone taking the cork out. - absolutely clueless! - and that is the managements fault.We would not come here again.

Terrible must be only Chinese restaurant in the village as there can't be any competition. First impressions from the outside it looked good and clean inside. I should have had my suspicion when the owner was less than happy.. It must rate as the worst Chinese takeaway I had eaten in a very long time, absolutely terrible I personally would avoid like the plague.. I only managed to eat a quarter of my meal before putting in the bin..It also didn't help that I sat on the bench near the restaurant and a young lad started verbally abusing me and jumped on the bench quite a few times with his skateboard. becoming quite intimidating. I suggested to him he should go away when he took an interest in my takeaway.. I duly told him to go away and stop being a pillock; it appeared that he was the son of fast food delivery driver of the same said Chinese restaurant.. Frankly when I did speak to the father who came out to see why his son was so upset after being called a pillock; was more reasonable. Frankly left me with a sour taste of the whole town !

Fancied a Chinese meal on a Friday night but wanted a bit more than just a takeaway. Took a chance on the Peach Bower in Brandon and was not at all disappointed, lovely food from the prawn crackers with sauce, shared starter for two to the main course of sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, king prawn chowmein, pork Cantonese style and sizzling steak, all was cooked to perfection with good portion size. Perfectly hot and served on plates that were so hot that it kept the food hot as we ate it. Drinks were of a good quality with both the lager and Diet Coke nice and cold. The young waiter was a very helpful and pleasant young man who could work in any 5 star resturant and not be out of place. Great place to eat and looking forward to our next visit. Thank you and see you very soon. Just a note to the woman and her husband on the table backing us, thanks for the entertainment, we have never ever heard a more nagging old woman in all the years we have dined out. The show you put on was better than a lot of the programmes on tv.

Very small restaurant so you would need to book if you are in a large party. All surfaces felt a bit greasy but kitchen was actually very clean and food was good. Service a little bit slow and waiter, although professional, wasn't very talkative and didn't talk very much. Not the best Chinese restaurant we've been to but still worth a visit.

We have used this restaurant many times, and the take-away very regularly. The take-away can be hit and miss, but this is true of many take-away places. The food in the restaurant used to be of a high quality and the service used to be friendly and attentive. I visited tonight with a large party of friends. The company was great! The food was average but the service was dreadful. We waited a long time to be asked for our order whilst other tables who were seated after us were served. Once we began our meal, we were only asked once for a further order and at no time did anyone come to ask if we were enjoying our meal / was everything alright. The attitude of the waiter / owner was...frosty. Given the amount we were spending, I'd have thought he might have managed a smile or friendly greeting, but no. To be honest, it felt like we were an inconvenience, yet we didn't even have the opportunity to ask for anything beyond the norm, so I'm sure we were not a trouble. When it came to paying, I flatly refused to tip. I always tip for good service. This was far from that. If I could have done what they do on "Four in a Bed" and paid what I thought it was worth, I'd have stuck in a tenner and a few tips on customer service. I will not return.

We were visiting the area for a Mountain bike trip in the forest, We checked on trip adviser for a good local Chinese restaurant, The Peach Bower sounded ok,so we decided to try them,situated in a small square next door to the Chinese take away.We had booked in advance as it was a Saturday night,and we walked from our Hotel so that my husband could have a drink.The Restaurant was empty on arrival and we were shown to a our table.The choice on the Menu is all the usual Chinese cuisine,spare ribs,sweet and sour,ectA bit disappointing, however when it arrived it was well cooked, and filling.Our only complaint being that my main course was brought to the table first,and sat there for some time before the rest of the meal appeared,also the rest of the food when it arrived was warm not hot,due to the plates it was served on being cold,it all quickly went cold.Spoiling what could have been an enjoyable visit.We thought that table warmers would have been a good idea.The Decor is dated but cosy.One word of warning the Toilets are situated up very steep narrow stairs, so I don't recommend a visit for anyone who is elderly, or Disabled, or young children. I did not think the handrail was adequate.

We've been eating here for over a year and it's always been very good. I've tried three different Chinese food locations as they're closer (literally across the road/down the street) but we take the 15 minute drive to peach bower everytime. Cheap, fast, yummy and filling!

Having lived in the Area for roughly 15 years now, the peach bower was the best on quality and value for money compared to the other high street restaurants...Sadly the quality began to dip, this started around the summer time of 2015, we go there enough that they know me by voice alone on phone orders. Comments of Hit and miss quality are sad but true. some days were better than others but it seems that things have become too complacent and the quality and taste has gone.On numerous occasions there has been an issue with the foods quality which outside of the fact its a wasted meal its disappointing because of the reputation they once had.It feels like the owners need to try the food without the cooks or staff knowing to see.Again being 100% all the time is impossible but the last few times have come to a head where we have no switched to a different restaurant. i hope things will take an upward turn for them.

Called in on way back to grab a takeaway, quality is as always, rare to find a takeaway where they take as much pride in takeaway as the restaurant. Never had bad meal from here and probably never will. Worth a visit one of the best chinese restaurants/takeaway in the area

ordered our food for delivery.... took an hour n half to arrive.... was cold ... phoned up for a new meal...was told we would have to pick it up.... got home and the duck and pancakes were missing....phoned up again,they said they would deliver the missing food..... when that arrived it was over cooked.... i phoned and asked if i could have money off my next bill as iv been a customer for years and had to wait 2n a half hours for our meal... they said no .... the whole meal went in the bin.... will never go here again for there attitude

Ordered a take away, spending nearly £50. We had started to serve and eat our meal when we discovered that the sweet and sour sauce, from the sweet and sour chicken balls, was missing. I phoned up to see if it could be dropped off, but they were too busy. I had to leave my meal, (and the company that I was eating with), to collect the sauce. When I returned, everyone had practically finished their meals and I had to microwave mine as it had gone cold. I appreciate that mistakes happen, but this ruined my entire meal and evening.

Looking for somewhere to eat in a place which seemed limited in what it had to offer, we stumbled upon this little gem. a somewhat unassuming eatery where the food was delicious, the service very friendly and the value very good. Excellent find.

I love peach bowers for their sweet and sour chicken, it's much better than the other local Chinese. Did have a slight problem when we ordered home delivery. We called back about 30 minutes, after they said it would take 20 minutes, to find out that they couldn't see our order and that they haven't even started it. We ended up not getting it. Other than that never had a problem before. Although eating their is okay but you do seem to have the staff watching you every 5 minutes which is slightly off putting.

We have been to this restaurant and the food is always nice and yummy..my favourite is the prawns in salt and pepper or chicken breast in salt and pepper..restaurant is busy sometimes. Staff are helpful and friendly..I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Went there more out of desperation but hopeful of a good night. Wrong!. The waiter was nice and friendly. The food was ages coming and when it arrived cold it was too much! We left it and went for the crispy duck which was virtually inedible. We paid for all the food and poor wine and left without waiting for the main courses, it was so bad. No offer of compensation from anyone. In the adjacent take away a women was also having a row about bad service and quality...we will never return.

The restaurant was quiet on Tuesday night, but we enjoyed our meals and although the waitress seemed new to the job she worked well. I particularly enjoyed the prawns with ginger and spring onion, which had a nice delicate flavour. Not my first time here and the food is consistently of a good standard, so I'm sure to return.

Had a take away from here last night, our third,and once again the food was superb.Would definitely recommend it to friends,and we definitely will be going again.

Excellent food, the waiter was very helpful and made sure that the meals were cooked to suit our individual tastes.

Probably the best Chinese in the Suffolk area. Never had a bad meal and prices are great. I would recommend Peach Bower to anyone.

Good consistent Chinese restaurant we've never had a bad meal there. Mid range prices. Staff are always very friendly. For something a bit different try the squid with salt and pepper (with chilli) - always good. Only downside is sometimes the small restaurant can be busy and the fizzy soft drinks for some reason are always a bit flat.

Very quiet when we dined at 6pm. Waiting staff were attentive and helpful. The meal was as expected in a typical chinese restaurant - tasty if not could have been a little warmer. Enjoyed the fried bananas for desert. Overall - acceptable.

Have used this restaurant for several years now as a take away and always happy with the quality and value of the food.

Never disappointed. Good service, tasty food and fair pricing. Have worked out on a couple of meals that it is cheaper for us to order what we want rather than opt for the all you can eat weekday menu. We eat a fair amount so unless you eat a huge amount it is cheaper just to order normally.

our family enjoys Peach Bower both takeout and eat in. Food is prepared quickly and the portions are generous The staff is professional and friendly. Parking is a small issue, you have to park down the road a small distance.

The entrées and starters are always a pleasure to eat, normally we can't choose so we all order something different and share. Due to this we have tried almost the whole menu over four different visits. My favorite is probably the sweet spicy soup. Although the main courses are good, stay clear of desserts! From what I can tell they are frozen desserts bought from any grocer like Aldi's. The problem was all of ours were gross and freezer burnt. They served them to us hard as blocks of ice they were completely inedible! Showing the waitress this we were promptly refunded our desserts. If you crave dessert after your Chinese go the Italian restaurant right next door!

Well got delivery, food was uncooked advised told to reorder but cost of delivery outweighed order. Staff not good especially chef!

We had a fantastic meal here, there was plenty of staff and they catered to our needs and were very helpful and polite. The food was exceptional.. As always Id recommend you book as small restaurant and gets busy.. We had an early booking at 5pm and it was quiet. Only one other couple arrived as we was leaving..

The wife and I called in for a New Year's Day evening meal while visiting friends in Brandon. As we had eaten here on several previous occasions and found the food to be of a better than average standard, we were quite looking forward to our evening. Arriving at the the pre-booked 7.00pm time we were not a little surprised to find what was obviously a large family party of twenty or so revelers! So what you may ask? This is a very small restaurant with not many more than twenty to twenty four covers total! Good for the proprietor say I. However, when a small establishment, with only one waiter apart from the owner and his wife (they also cater for takeaway), it's not surprising that they were under some pressure! Would it not be sensible to have taken the booking for the party and closed the restaurant to additional bookings?As we had booked we decided to stick it out in spite of the feelings of impending doom! As expected the meal left a good deal to be desired. The starters arrived for two with a ten minute wait for the second two. We were provided with a plate warmer only after we asked for one - normally they would provide two. After a considerable time the mains arrived with one dish short which did arrive some time later.The plates on which the food was served were stone cold so the sauces had started to congeal.It must be said that the family party seemed to fair even worse than us, as when we left at about nine p.m. they were only just ordering their main courses! The highlight of the evening was the lonely waiter, who kept his cool, was pleasant and as attentive as he could be under the circumstances!

We have been many times and the only time the food was less than great was when we ordered it as take away. Even my picky eater son will eat almost anything on the menu here. It is a small dining area so it can get a little crowded quickly.

I've been here loads of times, staff very friendly and a great service, the food is good, worth a visit for a pleasant evening meal...
