As someone who is Asian and bought up on authentic Asian food, the food served by this restaurant is frankly offensive. Don’t waste your hard earned money…Given the terrible reviews this restaurant has received, why is centre parks not doing something about addressing the poor standards?

My husband booked a table for 4pm through the centre parcs site for our 14th wedding anniversary while the kids did their own thing. We were the only ones there and we were truly catered and cared for, absolutely amazing having the place to yourselves. When we last went they had a Kasundi sauce for the popadoms which was so full of flavour, but this time no Kasundi. The amazing staff managed to find some and got those tastebuds going and bringing back memories of the last time. Service and staff were amazing. Will definitely return.

Similar to the other reviews. The service was good but the food… well, I would recommend going to the parc market and buying a jar of curry sauce for a more authentic experience. The onion bhaji was burnt on the outside and raw on the middle - nothing like a greasy pile of uncooked seasoned flour batter to set you up for the main course. The staff were very good though and deducted it from the bill. As for the main course? I enjoyed the lager I had with the main. In fairness to be expected on a single source site so not overly disappointed. Just need to manage your expectations going in.

Food was spiceless and over salted terrible

The staff are really nice. You can go anywhere to get nice staff though. If you want food, go elsewhere. If you want actual Indian food forget it. All 3 dishes were basically tomato puree with meat in. Worst 110 quid ever.

Rajinda? Hardly know her. The best meal we’ve had all week at center parcs. Super friendly service, stunning bahji and naan, nice atmosphere and a more elevated vibe than other restaurants in the parc. Overall a rlly lovely end to the stay.

Expensive, salty and I agree with the other reviewers that it tastes like a ready meal. Onion bahji was mainly batter and overcooked. Our vegan diner enjoyed the vegetable samosa.

Surprised to see such low reviews for this restaurant, found it to be the best meal during our stay and was a great experience. The staff were amazing (shoutout to Sandra) and they went above and beyond for us. The food was pretty tasty and it had a solid menu to choose from and was all presented very well. Yes it’s fairly expensive but where in Centre Parcs isn’t ?? A great way to end our week in Elveden

Ordered via restaurant runner, one item missing (replacement sent quickly when I phoned), naan so charred it was inedible, food was OK but portion sizes absolutely measly for the price, as with everything at Center Parcs these days, a complete and utter rip off, wouldn't recommend :(

HELLO Im very disappointed was looking forward to an authentic Indian. Not for a tescos ready meal micro kitchen for triple the price. Small portions even though I binned most of it! Would not recommend 😕

Our third visit, first being 2022. Service was good, but main courses were very disappointing. Both tasted very artificial, as if flavoured with Heinz tinned spaghetti sauce instead of fresh ingredients. It’s also about 50% more expensive than the other restaurants on site. We won’t bother next time.

The worst Indian I have ever had. Although, the service was slightly better than average in fairness. We were a family of 4 adults and a toddler. We had sides and mains. The food all tasted just odd. A combination of Borvil and vinegar. We were able to laugh about it, but needless to say we wouldn’t recommend to a friend nor would we ever return.

I’m really surprised at the other reviews, this was easily the best meal we had at Center Parcs (though expensive- but everywhere is there!). We had onion bahjis and fried okra to start, then the lamb shank and butter chicken for mains with a garlic naan. Everything was really well flavoured and cooked well, with decent portion sizes. The service was excellent, and the setting was nicer than a lot of the other restaurants on the site (possibly as it was a bit smaller and set away from other restaurants).

Food was awful, one of the waiters racist. You cant have bland food AND be racist pick one.🤣🤣🤣

Ordered a takeaway to have at our lodge over the weekend. I can truely say it was one of the worst Indian takeaways I’ve ever eaten, it was absolutely tasteless, what was in the cartons ( which wasn’t alot ) was dry. Not only that it was one the expensive takeaways i’ve had, what a rip off.

Food was just awful, when we walked in the lady almost warned us, saying that this is not a traditional Indian but an Indian with a Centre Parcs twist. I knew from that point the twist was that was it wasn't going to be good. Feeling optimistic we ordered with faith, the poppadom dips tasted what I can only describe as odd. The starters were awful 😖 with no taste and the mains just as bad, clumpy rice with tasteless mains, the slow cooked lamb shank with the weirdest congealed jelly like sauce. The staff were pleasant, likely because they didn't want the service charge removed from the bills. For £200 for 4 adults and 2 children with one drink each I would rather have cooked for sure!!!!

Shocking food. Got a takeaway and it was like supermarket jar curry, the only difference being it cost us £105 for 4 adults. Spent the night with awful indigestion. Measly portions too. Avoid

Great service but the food was WAY overpriced- £17 for a tiny portion of curry that can only be compared to a budget supermarket microwave meal - not including rice, but including a hair in my food instead. Save your money - buy a COOK curry from the ParcMarket and swerve this place.

The food was awful! I have eaten many chicken tikka microwave meals in my time and this tasted exactly like them. All the rice was clumped up together as if it was microwaved, the chicken was very chewy and tasteless and the sauce wasn’t creamy or thick like you would get in a proper Indian restaurant. It’s also extremely overpriced. You’d be better off buying a microwave meal from the shop.

If you're expecting atraditional Indian restaurant then this is not the place. Very over priced, naan was under cooked, very doughy. Rice hard like it had been microwaved. Very disappointed with the food, the only thing that was good was the service from Katy. We won't be going back next time we visit centre parcs.

Really good food its not like what people have said in the previous reviews. Ignore them when looking into going. Really friendly staff and really tasty food. It's a bit expensive but worth having a night out here !

We've been to this restaurant twice, once at Nottingham and once at Elveden. We've been disappointed both times The vegan options are terrible, no protein in any of them, just a random mix of vegetables. It feels like they just use whatever vegetables are left over. I had a bhuna this time round and a quarter of the dish was taken up by an uncooked tomato. I finished my meal in about 2 minutes because the portion was so poor. And it cost over £20, which is disgusting. I didn't have a naan bread this time because the vegan naan bread was so bad at the Nottingham restaurant. My partners food as a non-vegan has been average, never worth the incredibly high prices. It's a huge shame because the staff are always very nice, although service is generally slow. And the restaurants are always beautifully decorated. I dont think we'll be returning.

Like surprises? Go for this place. Order a main curry and get it served in tiny little side bowl. In fact order a curry worth £17.95 and get an item with fresh (uncooked and raw) tomato sauce. M&S ready meals have better tasting curries than 5/5 curries we ordered including some veggie sides. I’ll give them the mediocre tasting mushroom curry side. NOTHING other than that was curry like, tasty, or flavourful at all. Food: I’d rate the naan breads and Pepsi max as the best tasting items of our order. Rice was left in the microwave far too long so got the plastic beads in form of rice. Jalfrezi was brownish black curry with raw tomato zing. Potato side dish was roast potatoes skin on, swimming in oil and herbs. 30-60ml of oil at least. Starters wise samosa were barely fried. White and light coloured pastry on samosa is a first sign of bad Indian chef. Paneer tikka with raw paneer again no attempt to shallow fry, roast or cooking was made. I’d say that’s acceptable as some places don’t cook the paneer BUT the sauce is expected to have salt, spices and not just canned tomatoes churned mixed with heavy cream. All in all they’ve westernised what they think is Indian food to a point of no return. At 9:30 we were told kitchen was closed without prior notice. We did place a massive order at 8:45 and did notify the waiter we would order more to which the response was ‘yes of course’. Come 9:30 the kitchen was closed. We were way too hungry to try elsewhere. So ended up ordering naan breads the only thing available to order and had them with Pepsi max. Ambience: The music is on point. 10/10 for authentic Indian music playlist. Staff were overall friendly BUT not happy to be at work by the looks of it. Service: Quick efficient service but you’d expect that when they’re serving food that won’t be sniffed by our four legged friends. Would not return, food this awful, prices unjustifiable and attitude of the business was overall not worth your money or time. If you’re at Centre Parcs, take time to drive 5miles to town and there’s far better Indian options we tried the next night.

Was sat down to table & within 5 minutes witness the manager telling all the staff off at the front bar. If anything like that needs to be done then do it out of sight of customers. The manager just walked around with a bad vibe, could see other people not very happy either. It felt awkward & tense. Food was average. Popadom platter starter was nice but all main meals ok; nothing special & really overpriced. Only had a sharing starter, 1 main each & 1 drink each & still paid about £40 per head for 6 people. Katy our waitress was lovely, very helpful, kind & provided recommendations for our starters. Hence the 4 stars. Was a bit busy so service was a little slow otherwise would have given 5 for service. Not Katy’s fault obviously. Wouldn’t recommend coming here; probably the same quality curry if you went to the shop & bought a microwave meal.

Overall it's not great, not terrible. It's everything you'd expect from a center parcs - a safe, inoffensive family friendly menu. Food itself was average quality. Prices are very high - £17.50 for a Lamb Korma is bonkers. We paid nearly £100 (including the deposit and the service charge) for three mains, two rices, two breads and the poppadom platter. Staff were lovely and attentive throughout.

Incredibly disappointed with the food, none of the chefs had any knowledge of Indian food. For an Indian restaurant there needs to be somebody who has experience of cooking Indian food the correct way. The biryani tasted like cheese, the lamb curry was sour. The only way you could tell that the food was Indian was because of the name. I would not recommend eating here as the other restaurants are much better. However the service was good and the staff were incredibly nice its just a shame the food was so bad. For the food to be so expensive I would have expected better and not curry that tasted worse than something from Tescos, especially when we spent £500.

Our group of six were confused by the quantity of negative reviews. We had a fantastic meal for a 60th birthday celebration, everything was delicious, the server was lovely, and everyone was happy! No complaints here.

I wasn’t sure about trying this restaurant due to the large number of negative reviews, but I’m so glad I did. The food, service and atmosphere were all great. Was it over priced? Yes. Was it authentic Indian cuisine? No It’s Center Parcs people. All the restaurants are overpriced and not authentic! This is the best restaurant I have visited in Elveden Forest, and I will definitely come back on my next stay.

Best meal we've had at Center Parcs and we come here regularly but for some reason had never tried rajinda pradesh before!! Wasn't disappointed, the Lamb Chops were AMAZING!!! Great food and great service, Thank you Katy!

Worked out about £35 per head for poppadoms and a main (sharing rice and naan) so quite expensive. The curries were nice, not especially big portions. Attentive staff. Very empty inside.

Feel bad leaving a 1 star, but 1 star is fair. The food here is awful, there's no 2 ways about it. Had a takeaway, and it's the worst Indian takeaway in living memory. It was reminiscent of the bargain basement 'curry' you get in asda. But was worse than even that. Massively overpriced, even for center parcs. £15 for a few pony prawns in what was little more than red water. Jesus christ. I can't believe that they thinkj serving food this bad is acceptable. The management and chefs must know how bad the food is. Hucks is 1,000,000 times better.

My son and I both agree that this is the best Indian we've ever had. Would drive three hours from our home just to eat here again. Amazing food, lovely restaurant with kind and professional staff 10/10

This was the most horrendous Indian I’ve ever tasted - stay away - whinfell forest centr park, just throw £100 on your wood burner, the experience will be better………Shish kebab starter looked and tasted worse than dog food - mains were shocking tasteless and also worse than the worse curry ready meal - not recommended - save your money.

Popadoms we’re good. Everything else was bang average to rubbish. £5 for rice, £5 for naan. Double the price of any curry house, not worth it at all.

The atmosphere is upbeat and the staff is confident, making for a truly enjoyable meal. The menu is diverse and offers a wide range of dishes. The service is also top notch, with the waitstaff being both friendly and conversational. Overall, a fantastic restaurant that I can't recommend enough!

We absolutely loved our experience at Rajinda Pradesh. Sandra our waitress was hands down the best waitress I’ve ever had, so friendly, couldn’t do enough for us and had a great sense of humour. The food we all loved too! Would 100% recommend

Staff and ambience is great. Food is good enough, its at holiday park after all. Feel some of the reviews here might be a bit too pessimistic.

Too expensive for the bland menu. It used to be something special. Also, adding 7,5% because "they're cashless" is rubbish. Plenty of card machines allow you to course your tip!

SO LOVELY!! After seeing the low review rating we was very unsure however, we are very glad we went! Such lovely service (Hattie) and very good food. Definitely recommend much better then other places in the park. P.S I highly recommend the poppadums:))

We had poppadums to start mushroom pilau, lamb korma , chicken rogan josh, peshwari naan . All the food was delicious !! We’d just like to say we were served by Hattie and she was the best waitress we had while we stayed at center parcs. She was so helpful , attentive, patient . What a sweetheart!! 10/10

Poor food quality. Tasted no better, maybe worse than jarred curry sauces. Obsessed with mint in everything without being mentioned on the menu. I.e. in poppadoms onions, even samosas had masses of mint dressing. Only positive is kids menu was reasonable price. Won't be returning.

The worst Indian I have ever had, not at all authentic more like cafeteria hospital Indian food. After advising the manager of the standard and poor reviews and how uncomfortable I felt complaining I was told she was aware of the reviews and head office supply the recipes. Then asked how much did I want to pay. Appalling, dreadfull, bad experience. Should have checked the reviews before going however had faith in centre parcs.

WAITED OVER AN HOUR - KARA MANAGER RUDE DONT GO HERE We pre booked our table as my husband and I and our 4 children ranging from 6 to 18 were excited about having our first curry here. It was not busy when we arrived as we booked early so my daughter would not miss the disco. We got advised to order double popadoms for our table which was a ridiculous amount. We then waited and waited!! They made their money by making sure pints of Fanta and drinks kept coming but after my husband asking twice- I asked and they said there had been a computer error in the kitchen- and it’ll be with us straight away - an hour late. I refused it as it was dry and sat out - KARA guilted me into feeding my hungry children. I left too stressed to eat - when I came back KARA said I’d rather you just leave as the whole restaurant was aware of the appalling service. She also accused me of shouting at her which I’d never do as I work in a doctors and put up with that all day. But being twice her age apologised anyway in case I’d upset her!!!!!!! Then my 11year old son was sick and we had guest services send a medical adviser. He recovered after a lot of cramps and pain. I’ve been coming to CP my whole life. NEVER AGAIN- a lot of money for poor service by 20 year olds on power trips.

So we have been to centre parcs before and I've always wanted to try here but the wife never seemed to keen but because we were going with her family we decided to book here honestly which I never bothered!. We arrived at this restaurant and I get it's not your normal everyday Indian restaurant but the deco doesn't really feel like your in a Indian restaurant. The service was okay by our waitress nothing to moan or groan about her service. We ordered poppadoms for starters and to be honest this was probably the best part of the meal. The poppadoms were lovely with a good selection of sauces for them too. When it came to the mains, there were six of us so we all ordered different things off the menu. My wife and my mother in law aren't big on a Indian so they ordered korma, mushroom rice and skinny chips. I start with this meal first the skinny chips looked like they had been blended and to be quite Frank looked like a joke. The mushroom rice was OK not really to moan about but nothing to really hype up and lastly the korma. The korma was bland and quite frankly I think picking up something from your local supermarket would be more appealing and better value for money. My sister in law also had this too Then moving onto my dinner which I had a king prawn mahkani (I believe it's spelt) it's a coconut type of curry and I also had a peshwari nann. The curry was okayish not the best and not the worst but definitely not worth £17.50 I would say if this was priced at £7 then this would be more reasonable. The peshwari nann again wasn't horrendous but wasn't great but I believe this was only £3-4 so not the end of the world just very sweet My father in law had the same curry as me but lamb and said it was one of the worst curries he has ever had and he also had a basmati rice which he said was okay but not great. Lastly my brother in law had a bhuna curry (again I believe how you spell it), and said it was okay but nothing special and his rice which was a mushroom rice was okay but nothing great. My father in law did complain to the manager and did agree to remove the prices for the mains and the sides which to be honest i do feel is fair. The manager did say its not common to complain but looking at the reviews on here doesn't seem to be the case. I have written this review as I am a fan of Indian restaurants and also did look forward to this for ages especially seeing the trip before this trip back in December 2020 I wanted to go and the wife didn't want to. My honest review and to why I have given it two stars is the food is so overpriced for what it is and also the food doesn't taste any like it should do. If you really like your Indian food I wouldn't bother. Shame as the other restaurants at centre parcs are decent!

Lovely experience and extremely flavoursome food not sure why the reviews are so low however myself and partner are very fussy and can vouch for this being a must on your holiday … Emily without a doubt is amazing at making the experience a memory and an asset to the team she was personable and her customer service is 10/10

Hugely overpriced, tasteless poor quality food. 3 out of 5 of us didn't even eat out meals and had to be refunded once the staff ha tasted the batch and admitted they had to throw the whole lot away. None of it is freshly made, they just tasted like poor quality ready meals. Great service from the staff though, but I will stay away from here on future visits. Centre Parcs could do so much better than this restaurant.

Went in there expecting it to be mediocre (Asian cuisine done by a holiday camp) but all five of us enjoyed our food. It is Indian dishes with a hint of something different, no Vindaloo in sight. The staff were great.

Mains are abit on the pricy side, but was very nice and tasty, was 8 people in our party and everyone enjoyed it. Sides and drinks all at a fair price. People comparing it to 'tesco ready meal' need to have there taste buds tested lol. Would go back, and probably will this week. Lovely service also.

Absolutely horrific. The staff do not want to be there, and they’re not shy in showing it. The food took forever, and it’s clear it had just been microwaved. No flavour, dry, and was like an Iceland ready meal. The bill was thrown at us at the end after we needed to ask for it 3 times. If the restaurant had of even been half full, it would have been at least a reason, although a poor one, for this poor service

Honestly don't bother eating in the restaurant. The service is terrible. The food doesn't taste fresh, it actually tastes like a microwave curry from a bag. Long waits, dirty tables & over priced.

Worst Indian I've ever had. Everything tasted like a cheap jar sauce,rice was definitely microwaved and took two hours to come. Don't know how they can get away with serving this food!!!

It was absolutely amazing me and the kiddos had an amazing time eating here but the next day are buttoks did no agree with it because it was too spicy

Great service. Terrible food. The mains are small, expensive and no better than you could make at home with a jar of cheap sauce. Until Center Parcs fix this I’d avoid - a ready meal from the parc market next door will be much tastier.

Probably the worst food I have ever had anywhere. Let me address some of the other reviews and say it does not taste like curry straight out of a jar, because curry out of a jar still tastes of something. These curries have no flavour aside from the faint hint of plastic, likely coming from the container it was decanted from just before hitting your plate. Charging £14 for a poor quality microwave ready meal and then another £4 each for rice and naan is shameful. Everyone already knows the food is overpriced at Center Parcs but of all the pretty awful restaurants on site, this is on another level. Go literally anywhere else, snack on the bark from one of the many trees if you have to, and thank me later when you’re £70 better off.

This curry sucks so much. I tried the korma, Bhuna, tikka masala, and biryani… and they are all truly awful. Save yourself the money to the sports cafe/country club instead.

As a curry lover I was so excited when the family wanted to try Rajinda Pradesh. Sadly it was the worst meal ever, I had Jelfrezy, hardly any heat, poor flavour but so salty. Korma was bland. . Rice dishes just no flavour. Nuance bread and poppadoms actually quite good,

Absolutely amazing service during our visit here! We had a lovely waitress called Priya who we couldn’t fault. Beautiful food too! Would definitely visit again.

We ordered a take away Saturday evening, food was absolutely awesome, possibly one of the best curries we’ve all had. Took just over an hour to come but it was well worth the wait. Also a little pricey but again, worth it 👌

I liked the decor and the service was fast and attentive. We had the poppadom tray and onion bhajis to start which were both very tasty. For mains, the tikka masala was very nice but the korma was a little bland! This place is average for an Indian but we still had an enjoyable experience. Compared to your local Indian restaurant, I'd say it was expensive for what you receive.

Extremely poor quality food and misserable service. Complete waste of money. The dishes are very expensive and the quality and quantity of the food is poor. There is no option for paneer or dal for vegetarians, only mixed veggies added in some kind curry which does not taste at all as what it should. The chicken dishes the meat was almost raw and without any seasoning. WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!

Wish I could give negative rating to this one. Food was awful, probably the worst I have ever had. 6-7 standard base gravies, probably bought from supermarket, very poor service and super expensive. I would cetainly NOT recommend it to anyone.

Disgusting, I'm utterly disappointed by this. I wish I could give 0 stars. It looks like the chef had a fight with the vegetables in my curry and forget to add the spices. The garlic naan was dryer than the Sahara dessert and whiter than snow. Please do not waste your time or money on this horrible excuse of an 'Indian' restaurant

Loved this restaurant. The staff we delightful and the atmosphere was so lovely. Poppadom sharer, onion bhajis and veg samosas were incredible, I would 100% recommend them. The main course was a bit disappointing after the great start, the sauces tasted a bit like supermarket curries rather than authentic indian curries, but they were fine.Great kids menu too if you have fussy eaters!You have to try the mango chilli daiquiri!

We love Indian food and always eat out at local Indian restaurants whenever visiting new areas. Seduced by the marketing we tried it, oh dear! If you are expecting a meal that tastes like an Indian restaurant, this isn't it. It all tastes of cash and carry catering jars and I've had better for £3 from Tescos. Save your money and eat at Hucks or Cafe Rouge, they are excellent.

Seated quickly, water arrived 5 minutes later and 5 minutes at least to take a drinks order (bad), so we ordered food at same time. Poppadoms were good, a few were a bit stale. The chicken tikka starter had 4 pieces of meat, usually you get at least 6. Main dishes OK, nothing special. Overpriced for what it is. Didn't see one non English person as staff, so maybe its not authentic.

Comfortably the best food we had during our visit. It was very well cooked, excellently spiced and served in attractive bowls. Warm welcome and very friendly staff. The restaurant has excellent interior decor, making the atmosphere (even with reduced numbers during Covid-19) very pleasant.

There were mixed reviews of this place amongst the 6 of our party. 4 of us had the Chicken Tikka Masala and all agreed that it was far too hot for a masala. Overall, we found the food very expensive for what it was and the menu is extremely limited. The service we received was great but unfortunately the food and price really let this place down.

We had read some poor reviews, but due to COVID and not wanting to go a restaurant, we went with it. We pre ordered (menu small) and it arrived on time. it was delicious - piping hot, tasty, good size portions and very fresh - best chicken tikka we've had. Really nicely surprised.

Ordered in advance, but not all the food arrived at the same time- they were apologetic but it sort of spoiled our first night meal. Taste wise good indian, normal sized portions.

The chef came out and spoke to me about what I wanted as I'm vegan. He gave me a list of options that he could do for me. He was very enthusiastic which was nice and endearing but I did wonder whether he knew what Veganism was because at first he thought Vegans consumed milk. I ended up having a Vegan Korma. It was nice. The interiors decor with the lighting made it quite comfy. The staff were friendly and had good customer service.

Was really looking forward to our meal here , the restaurant looks lovely and we were expecting a really lovely meal , especially seeing how expensive it is , we were left for ages without a drink or any kind of service and due to distancing it wasn’t to busy so no excuse for bad service. The tikka masala my husband said tasted like a microwave meal, and my korma was more of a tomato taste as opposed to coconut and creamy taste, sadly very disappointed and would never bother going again, for 2 of us with one drink each and main meal it came to £50 so not cheap

My husband and I had a great evening last night. Food was lovely and service was brilliant. Our waitress Hannah was fab, excellent customer service noticing we were ready for another drink without even asking.Friendly and inviting thank you for a lovely night.

We usually visit this restaurant when we come to Center Parcs but we were disappointed on this occasion. Service was great but a very limited menu including over £7 for a starter of 3 small pieces of chicken tikka was unnecessarily expensive...the chicken was also dry. My lamb jalfrezi was very chewy but the other dishes were well received (chicken) by the family.

What wonderful service we received this evening, the food was amazing and just the right amount for us. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and for somebody who doesn’t really like Indian food, I enjoyed our experience very Much. Anybody visiting centreparcs I would recommend a meal out here!

Over priced, took ages, lots of staff cleaning tables not in use, brought out wrong dish but tried to charge for a more expensive one
