Ali's Kebabs in Forest Heath

Professional and friendly staff served us efficiently and clearly told us there would be a 10min wait. The double pepperoni pizza had lots of topping and was really tasty. The kebab was lovely, hot and tasty even after the 10min drive, salad was plentiful, fresh and crisp with plenty of meat. We were impressed and our bellies satisfied. Not bad for less than £20 for a 12" pizza and medium lamb doner.

They served a good kebab it was a nice portion, well cooked and all you need from a kebab. It's in a nice central location for the town too.

It used to be great and very quick but the service has gone down hill. The last 3 times we have ordered it’s been over an hour wait! Tonight however we decided to book early but low and behold the food arrived at a relatively decent time however they missed half our order. We called back and got the pizza but then realised they’d also forgotten the onion rings too. If you want fast food go elsewhere. If you want an accurate order go elsewhere.

Went in tonight to get something to eat, I asked the person serving me a question and he was very rude and started shouting! I don’t think he should be working here! VERY VERY RUDE.

Best takeaway by far.. our orders are always spot on 👌 lovely food pizzas 🍕 are delicious to top it off we often get a complementary bottle of drink. Definitely recommend

The meat was a little dry but they were able to get my order spot on. This seems to be a difficult achievement in the Brandon area. Staff were friendly and chatty which always helps.

The kebabs from this take-away in Brandon are VERY GOOD! Having tried other kebab establishments, we always return to Alis because we know we will get good value, good portions and good quality! Really tasty, and plenty of choice!

Very good choice of take away food and brilliant service provided. Open till late for a late snack, cleaned and tidy, do recommend.

Got recommended this place by a friend as we are fed up of the crap Thetford has to offer. The food was so tasty. So much better than what we’ve had for a long time. Definitely will return, well worth the drive from Thetford to have a decent Kebab.

I love a good Kebab and I can tell you the one I had was very good. I normally get the soft rolled kebab and I can tell you it was huge. There was so much meat that it took me about 30 minutes to eat it. I asked for the chips to be cooked a little longer and they were perfect. Stayed hot until I got to my hotel about 10 mins away.I found the staff to be super friendly and would go back there again and again. The Kebab is better than I have gotten in Turkey!

They do a very nice kebab. Friendly staff always willing to help and advise and the prices are reasonable too.

This place offers a quick fix for food. That doesn't mean it's good it's just quick but in this case it was ok. I had chicken donor and chips one time which was ok. Another time I had a pizza. To my surprise they did tandoori chicken. This is a Turkish owned place doing tandoori chicken pizza! As expected it wasn't great or very tandoori. It's like going to a Japanese restaurant for some paella. If I ever find myself in Brandon again, feeling like a quick fix I may come here again.

After years being away the kebabs still rock. Way too much meat and had to use a fork to eat it. Tasty and delicious. We get togo and always end up with a free litter of Pepsi.

Llamó a un pedido y me pidieron dos veces a "hablar" al punto donde estaba gritando mi pedido! Me pidieron la dirección a la que respondí que sería recoger y su respuesta fue "usted dijo que entrega, increíble. . . "Yo no me respondió "me dijeron que me recogerá" y me repetía "increíble" y poner el teléfono! Habiendo sido animaba a cobrar como la perspectiva de algunos maleducado en el otro extremo no era tan atractiva, mi marido fue a recoger el pedido. Él preguntó si podía comprobar la orden como en anteriores ocasiones había sido perder cosas y el hombre dijo que no lo ignoran y mi marido cuando se le pidió una segunda y tercera vez. Si no hubiera sido por el hecho de que nuestros hijos eran esperanzadoras para la comida mi esposo hubiera salíamos. La comida estaba bien, pero este hombre no es un buen embajador de lo que era un establecimiento agradable!

Service was absolutely appalling, driver arrived and blasted horn twice then drove off and said they had been here for 30 mins when infact he was here for 20 seconds. Staff were so rude on the phone, will never use again !!!! Very poor service.

Después de todos estos años y volver a brandon, aún los mejores y más originales. Si te gusta la comida rápida, entonces aquí es donde usted viene.

food is ok I have mine delivered which is always warm , the salad is plentiful ,not a lot of meat . chips a tad hard

Convenient, plentiful, does what it says on the tin. Good choice of food from pizzas to kebabs and burgers. The shish wraps are the best

Most of the staff are ok not overly friendly though however the manager is very rude and arrogant! haven't seen him for a while so maybe hes gone now! the food is enjoyable the kebabs are nice and the chilli sauce is very nice, chips are not so good! overall the food is ok the staff are ok and the manager is rude! so makes for a pleasant enough takeaway!

Orders a take away here and the meal was wrong. When ordering the man was rude on the phone as he was not listening correctly there for the order came out wrong, he was abrupt. when we received the order and saw it was wrong we phoned to say we was missing items, the man was rude and said you did not order these and was telling us we are incorrect his words were 'you did not order these bye bye' with regards to going back here we won't be and we do not recommend the place to anybody.we are disgusted with the service.

not as good as the food used to be . also very expensive for a family to have a kebab takeaway . can be hit and miss with taste

Staff was friendly. I really enjoyed my lamb kabob; ground lamb with lots of spices and a little kick of heat. My daughter got a margarita pizza, I didn't try it but she said it was just okay; personally the only pizza I would buy from a kabob house would be a lamajun ( I know that is mis-spelled) Turkish pizza but I haven't found a kabob house in the local area that makes it.

We frequented this restaurant 20 years ago while being stationed in the area. It was nice to come back to find that the food is still delicious!

We visited a few ‘restaurants’ in Brandon on the way to the coast. There was a few including this one that where not that friendly. When we asked if the food was halal or not we were not really given a straight answer. We declined to purchase food from there. It’s a shame because Brandon could do better than this.

I often visit this take away good food for what it is, staff are friendly, clean and tidy, can't complain..............

I have stopped into Ali's several times over the years as it is convenient on the main road from Swaffham and Newmarket and it has relatively late opening hours. On our most recent visit we caught a late meal while passing through the town.While this is a takeaway establishment, the quality of the food is good. The combination kebabs are reasonably priced and the salad and sauce portions generous. My partner particularly likes their kofte, which is flavourful. The pizza is fairly good in value for money terms, though the bases are of the pre-made variety. This said the toppings are good, and the overall pie not bad.Overall, this is a good takeaway, and one I will undoubtedly visit again.

Always had good food. Combination kebab is the best and is my recommendation. Park at the aldi car park and walk up.
