Haven’t eaten here for a few years after a disappointing previous experience. Easy to get a table as so quiet (due to prices?) served quickly by a nice waitress. Food (burgers and fish and chips) was very good but at least £4-5 overpriced. Drinks extortionate hence we only had one. Gone are the days you would go out to eat at CP and have a few drinks. If they reduced prices people would stay longer and drink more. No point keep telling us you’re keeping prices competitive, you’re not. Used to be able to get 2 cocktails for £12, now they are £10.50 each!

Lovely place to eat. Staff were very welcoming and service was spot on. food was excellent, well presented . 3 of us had burgers and fries, 1 had bacon with melted brie on ciabatta, 2 had roast beef on ciabatta. Price was similar to Bella Italia however food portion sizes and quality of a much higher . Ambience was lovely ,very relaxed if we had found this on Friday we would have eaten there more often. Would highly recommend eating here

What a lovely relaxing place. Far away from the hustle and bustle. Different types of seating areas, inside and out. Well stocked bar. Great play area. Pool tables and cosy seating area too. Staff very welcoming and service was great

We had a quick lunch and then went back again for dinner, both with the dog. Food and drinks were pretty decent, and service was great! It was very quiet, as it is a little out of the way, but apparently Fridays are their quiet night!

Great lunch, succulent burgers, lovely salads, wide range of beers and drinks all served in a perfect setting, in the middle of a forest overlooking a lake. Recommended!

Excellent service and lovely food. Kids play area. Recommended for a good feed after a day of activities. Bananas and custard on the kids dessert menu - old-school and delicious.

Very friendly service, good food. The restaurant seems to receive very mixed reviews; however, our experience was overall very good. The waitress was very friendly and chatty, the food was good at reasonable prices. I We would return.

Fantastic family meal, well cooked and beautifully presented. We were served by Tracie and she was brilliant. Not sure what all these negative reviews are about, this is a lovely place to visit, such a great environment.

It smelt like urine and tables were greasy. The waiters complained that we were complaining and the kids area was dirty.

The food was horrific. Had the hog roast sandwich and it was stone cold. The meat once heated, was inedible. It’s a shame as the staff were lovely and it’s a great space.

The Forresters was quite quiet when we visited so service was quick. The food was lovely and the portions were large. The wife had trouble finishing hers. Went as a family of 4 and all the orders came out without a hitch and quickly. Desserts were delicious. 10/10

Came to centre parcs and decided to come to the Foresters Inn for Sunday roast and am very sorry to say that I was not impressed. Maybe I am exaggerating a bit, it wasn’t that bad but, nothing special really. The beef was chewy and inconsistent, the pork was good, far too much chicken for one meal. The fact that the boneless chicken was grilled did put me off as it was a bit dry and chewy and didn’t suit the whole roast dinner vibe. The carrots were far too undercooked, same with the rest of the vegetables, the carrots were close to raw. 🥕 🥦 The meal took a while to come giving what the end result was. I’m going to be honest here, the meals looked bigger and better further away. I think because they had been under the heat lamp, waiting to be served they got a bit droopy and came out looking quite sad. Staff were friendly, couldn’t really fault the service. Overall I’d give it about a 6/10, I would recommend for families as there is a children play area, even for couples It’d be a nice place for a date, just maybe not the roast.

1st......i have just been charged £7 for a pint of Guinness!! Food average.. ...steak sent back as my pregnant wife had asked for it without blood and arrived rare. Then the steak was pretty clearly deep fried when it came back.....dry and inedible.

a tall ish guy stocky build didn’t catch the name badge seemed to be harassing a girl while at work it made me feel uncomfortable being able to see it happening however no one else tried to step in

We weren't sure what to expect given some of the recent negative reviews. So we were very pleasantly surprised by just how good the service was ( from Jordan) - in fact it couldn't have been better. No point in me grumbling about the meal being expensive - it was, but that's Center Parcs for you. We only had standard pub dishes: prawn cocktail, fish and chips, burgers, etc. But all was absolutely fine for what it is. The pub is further away from the centre than the other restaurants, but it was still only a gentle 10 minutes' bike ride from our lodge.

We went in on Sunday at 2pm for lunch. It was not busy. We had to ask several times for more drinks and empty glasses to be cleared. We also had to ask for plates to be cleared after starters and mains. We then had to ask for the bill several times, and then get up to get it paid. The staff were just standing around talking to each other. We would not go back.

Everything was very average, food was like normal pub grub but with higher price tag. Toilets needed a bit of a deep clean. The kids play area was good fun. It was very quiet though so good if you prefer that sort of environment, prob because it is out of the way from main village.

Disappointed service was extremely slow waited 45 minutes for food to be served and not busy either food cold and plates red hot do not sure what went wrong Staff not happy one waiter actually put the tray of food over our toddler while taking the food off to give us was pointed out to him but he wasn’t bothered and they added a service charge to bill which we asked to be removed Won’t be returning anytime soon

The staff were all really friendly, very welcoming with both son (18) with SEN and 10 year old. The dog was made very welcome too. Would definitely return to this restaurant.

The ‘Den’ playarea kept the grandchildren amused between food courses, probably the best of the children’s play areas in the Parcs restaurant areas. Location on site may be a bit out of the way for some guests so you need to factor in the walking distance from lodge to restaurant when booking. We stayed in Birch took us about 15 minutes to walk.Would book a table again on our next visit to CP.
