Shocking service had items missing from the order I called, they guy said he’s confident that he put it in the bag, well must’ve eaten it on the way then mate coz there not in my bag. Now declining my calls and won’t refund me or bring me my items. Shocking !!!!!

Worst subway for customer service and the staff are very rude.my food never turned up when ordered from delivered so I spoke to the people in the subway shop newmarket and was sworn at and told ro leave.will never use again

Was in need of some food and thought oh lets go to subway, when we first walked in it was far to hot and had an awful awful smell. Shocking service!!!! Did not understand or complete most of my requests. OVER CHARGED. If your looking for a place to eat don’t bother going to save your money, time and dignity.

Shocking stay away if you value your life The food can only be described as sweaty greasy disgustingness the temperature in the facility itself is sweltering making for an incredibly unpleasant and uncomfortable wait whilst the gloveless men smash together the room temperature ingredients into a ‘6 inch’ peice of bread , which was not 6 inches , was smaller than what is was meant to be. On the window it stated the meal deal is £3.99 yet when I asked for this they tried to put this Frankenstein potato hash brown thing with bacon instead of what I asked for , they didn’t understand what I was trying to say when I said I do not want bacon and how much the quantity of meat was , ended up charging me nearly £6 and did not get my crisps or a drink , I’m flabbergasted do not eat here .

Very rude staff and terrible service

Worst subway ever. The bread was rock hard due to a faulty toaster. When they replaced it with another sandwich that bread was riock hard from being over toasted due to machine issue. If you know there is a fault with the machine then why still use it and when the food is returned due to over cooking why admit there is a fault and do it again. No refund offered. The owner was more concerned with chatting with his friends then offering a professional service. Avoid at all costs .

I ordered for delivery and then it changed to pick up bc they had no driver but I wasn’t told this before my purchase so I would like a refund .

Can only review competence of the staff which was non existant. Gave up with the order as they just couldn’t get it right.

Absolutely disgusting service! We ordered at 12:15 order was immediately delayed, meant to arrive at 1:30, still no order by 1:50, I was then told it would arrive at 2:15. order STILL not arrived (currently 2:30) the restaurant spewed some rubbish about traffic - were only 4 miles away!! Pretty sure it doesn’t take over 2 hours to deliver a sandwich and a salad!! Disgusting service. Will never order from here again! Wish I had read the reviews before!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

DO NOT get the ice cream! Its been completely melted and re-frozen. Waste of money.

Firstly, the delivery time was absolutely horrible. It was 30 minutes late! I was very disappointed despite the fact that the delivery time was updated because you were busy. I understand that but it wasn't a big delivery and the distance between Soham and Newmarket is only 15 minutes. Not to mention that the food arrived stone cold, clearly it was sitting around for a while. Secondly, the bread was mixed up with the orders. The ingredients were right, the bread was just swapped. Honestly, it was funny at first but slightly annoying, Please don't make the same mistakes again. Thanks.

Ordered from here multiple times, always food missing! Today a steak and cheese, this came with NO cheese and was not toasted. Also ordered a Nacho Chicken sub with cheese and toasted, again NO cheese and was not toasted. Called the shop to be told that they had put cheese on it and did not believe us! No resolution was given, the phone was put down on the side and eventually hung up, they then would not answer my call! Disgusting customer service!

Writing this review as you today did not put cheese on or toast my wife's steak and cheese. This could have easily been resolved if you were kind enough to send out the correct food as a replacement but instead you were rude to her and ruined her lunch that she paid your extortionate prices for. I do not like it when people are rude to my wife and take her hard earned money. I suggest you refund the order around lunchtime delivered to Isleham or I will be forced to write horrible reviews in every place possible on the Internet.

Ordered at 6.45pm food finally arrived at 8.30pm cold and soggy. Rang to ask where it was around 7.45pm the woman that answered the phone was not interested at all kept mumbling something about it raining and being busy . Never ordering again from there!!

food came 2 hours after ordering and when it turned up, it had items missing and the food was cold. We tried to call subway to first ask where our order was, as just eat said it had been delivered but half an hour later had still not arrived, and secondly to inform them of items missing and food being cold, however no one answered and then the phone was engaged. Complained on just eat, but they declined our request for a refund. Will never be ordering from Subway Newmarket again or just eat! Awful service.

We usually eat here for lunch when we visit Newmarket. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They always acknowledge that we have visited before which is so nice. Very clean and tidy. Never an issue using promotional vounchers, Bluelight card etc

ordered, then was instantly told that my delivery would be up to an hour later than originally planned, i tried to cancel because this was too long and was told that they had already 'started' when i know subway takes less than 5 minutes to actually create your order but nearly 2 hours to deliver. not acceptable

Everytime I've ordered from this restaurant, the food has been late and cold and they have never given me a recipt. I finally smapped today when they didn't delivery me recipt. They kept tell me that the recipt was for there records not mine. When they eventually gave me a recipt. It clearly said "customer copy" on the top. How can it not me my recipt if it clearing states "customer copy" on the top?

food is good, but when your ordering you have to speak soooo loud when u asked for no cheese they added cheese, the tables and chairs hardly get cleaned and you have to wipe it yourself the floor is dirty. i don’t ever see them get cleaned.

Immediately after ordering I got a delay notification, then at the end of the estimated delivery time I got another delay notification, then at the end of that estimated delivery time, I got a enjoy your food notification but no food. Had to call the store twice for an update, the first update being ‘be with you soon’ which apparently means 30 minutes later. Won’t be ordering again!!!

Wasn’t toasted. Had it substacked too so hash browns inside were rock solid. And the portion of hash browns ordered on the side were cooked but stone cold.

Made an order through just eat, the food was an hour late. I called shortly after the estimated time for an update and was told 10 to 15 min. Called again a half hour after the first delivery time and they told me they'd contact the driver. The food finally arrived after an hour of waiting, 2 hours after I ordered the food. Will not be ordering from here again

It was toasted and it was all soggy once I got it

I placed an order on Just Eat for a Subway over an hour ago with an expected delivery between 13:45 - 14:05pm? Its now gone 14.50pm? An hour late? and my food still hasn't arrived? I'm tried calling the store 6 times (including at the moment with the phone under my ear as I type), but they do not answer? I've even asked several times on the website for update via text. I have only received one text to say my food order is on its way? That was over 30 mins ago!

Two hours late for four subs, no communication and refused to cancel the order.

Never had a bad delivery from subway. Always on time, always fresh and warm, never missed an item off my delivery! Would definitely recommend.

Food is as it should be. Was not impressed in the slightest how the male worker was ordering his female coworkers around. I would hate to work for anyone that spoke to me the way he did.

Order amended to 'enjoy your food' at 2.15 so called the restaurant to advise it wasn't yet delivered. He said they were busy and it would be another 30/40 minutes and the order status amended because just eat do this automatically!! I have always been advised of time delays on prior orders from just eat. We then received it 30 minutes later and both had no cheese on them and the ice cream had melted to a liquid which had to be binned. Very unhappy customer!!

Staff is friendly for the most party, and the food taste how you'd expect a subway to taste. Sometimes a little heavy with the sauces but no one is perfect.

Food was cold, nachos where stale, meatball where cold, melted cheese was hard, bread was chewy, like had all been sitting on a counter for ages!

Sadly there was very little tuna in my "tuna wrap". It was mainly all salad. The only evidence of tuna was a small amount on one side of the wrap. Disappointing.

The food quality was excellent, I requested a contactless delivery for covid and the driver was very good. Brilliant service from the driver

Always great. Only thing is that one cookie on the menu [chocolate Orange ] was priced £99 so you might need to fix that ASAP.

Food was great, was on time. My only complain was there was a delivery fee and a minimum order in my opinion it should one or the other.

Delivered within 20 mins of ordering, great. Delivery driver nice chap. Subs cold and nacho bites tough and dry.

Many times I order from subway, many times they make mistakes and many times I forgive but this is where I draw the line. I order food on justeat(won't allow me to review it there), order goes through and over an hour past the delivery time it states "enjoy your food" okay, maybe they're around the corner, cool. No, I have to call the restaurant and they tell me "it was delivered to someone else", that is absolutely NOT okay. I'm waiting for food to get here and get zero notification that they made a mistake until I call THEM. They either need to write addresses on bags, names or SOMETHING to get this problem fixed because now I have to wait additional time to get the right food. This will not stand Edit: even after having time to redo the order they STILL forgot one item. Its not even worth fighting anymore.

Food was cold and had all fallen out of my sandwich, considering I order subway a lot, this was by far the worst I’ve had.

Everything was swamped with water from where the food had sweat in the bag. Totally inedible, stone cold and disgusting. First and last order I will ever place.

Third time ordering from this place and third time late. Now over 2 hours taken and still not here even though the just east app says “enjoy your food” how long can 2 x 6 inch subs take?? Avoid avoid avoid!

The opening promotion of the 12 Days of Christmas was buy a foot long and get another free. When I came to pay I scanned my subcard and the price still came to the full amount for 2 foot longs. I mentioned the promotion but I was told that this store was not taking part. I didn’t argue, I just paid I full and ate my (very delicious) lunch. Later that week I googled the promotion and found a PDF on subways homepage which started Newmarket we’re taking part. A week or so later I walked passed the store again and they were even advertising it in the window! I wrote to subwaycares referencing the PDF and got a box standard robotic answer which claimed that valued me as a customer! My follow up email (where I mentored the window advert didn’t ever warrant a reply! I will be using up my free subs and once they’ve gone I will not be returning to subway ever again.

The service was awful. The food turned up cold and soggy with items missing. When ringing the store the person on the phone was very rude and didn’t care said it was ‘our problem’ they were not willing to correct the situation in any way. We paid for food that was barely edible and for items we didn’t receive. Would 100% not recommend ordering from here what a waste of time and money. If I could give 0 stars I would but would not let me post without any

Not too.bad for a quick pit stop

The bread is often not fresh, so it's stale and hard. There are hundreds of flies flying around the restaurant without sufficient insect repellent or insectacuter provision. Often many of the toppings are looking wilted or have ran out, Or sat they empty with the source remnants around the empty container. This is a rather slap dash restaurant and takeaway that seems to not have much pride in itself. As a franchise I am surprised that the head office do not check up on the standards of hygiene availability and service at their restaurants, be they franchises or not. "Needs more work" !!

Quite slow getting to us (over an hour) given it was 10 minutes down the road and subway takes 5-10 minutes to make. Would have thought 35 minutes as estimated would have been fair.

Meatless meatball was not edible.
