Was in need of some food and thought oh lets go to subway, when we first walked in it was far to hot and had an awful awful smell. Shocking service!!!! Did not understand or complete most of my requests. OVER CHARGED. If your looking for a place to eat don’t bother going to save your money, time and dignity.

Shocking stay away if you value your life The food can only be described as sweaty greasy disgustingness the temperature in the facility itself is sweltering making for an incredibly unpleasant and uncomfortable wait whilst the gloveless men smash together the room temperature ingredients into a ‘6 inch’ peice of bread , which was not 6 inches , was smaller than what is was meant to be. On the window it stated the meal deal is £3.99 yet when I asked for this they tried to put this Frankenstein potato hash brown thing with bacon instead of what I asked for , they didn’t understand what I was trying to say when I said I do not want bacon and how much the quantity of meat was , ended up charging me nearly £6 and did not get my crisps or a drink , I’m flabbergasted do not eat here .

Worst subway ever. The bread was rock hard due to a faulty toaster. When they replaced it with another sandwich that bread was riock hard from being over toasted due to machine issue. If you know there is a fault with the machine then why still use it and when the food is returned due to over cooking why admit there is a fault and do it again. No refund offered. The owner was more concerned with chatting with his friends then offering a professional service. Avoid at all costs .

Absolutely disgusting service! We ordered at 12:15 order was immediately delayed, meant to arrive at 1:30, still no order by 1:50, I was then told it would arrive at 2:15. order STILL not arrived (currently 2:30) the restaurant spewed some rubbish about traffic - were only 4 miles away!! Pretty sure it doesn’t take over 2 hours to deliver a sandwich and a salad!! Disgusting service. Will never order from here again! Wish I had read the reviews before!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Also ordered a Nacho Chicken sub with cheese and toasted, again NO cheese and was not toasted. Called the shop to be told that they had put cheese on it and did not believe us! We tried to call subway to first ask where our order was, as just eat said it had been delivered but half an hour later had still not arrived, and secondly to inform them of items missing and food being cold, however no one answered and then the phone was engaged. Complained on just eat, but they declined our request for a refund. Will never be ordering from Subway Newmarket again or just eat! Awful service.

Writing this review as you today did not put cheese on or toast my wife's steak and cheese. This could have easily been resolved if you were kind enough to send out the correct food as a replacement but instead you were rude to her and ruined her lunch that she paid your extortionate prices for. I do not like it when people are rude to my wife and take her hard earned money. Firstly, the delivery time was absolutely horrible. It was 30 minutes late! I was very disappointed despite the fact that the delivery time was updated because you were busy. I understand that but it wasn't a big delivery and the distance between Soham and Newmarket is only 15 minutes. Not to mention that the food arrived stone cold, clearly it was sitting around for a while. Secondly, the bread was mixed up with the orders. The ingredients were right, the bread was just swapped. Honestly, it was funny at first but slightly annoying, Please don't make the same mistakes again. Thanks.

Everytime I've ordered from this restaurant, the food has been late and cold and they have never given me a recipt. I finally smapped today when they didn't delivery me recipt. They kept tell me that the recipt was for there records not mine. When they eventually gave me a recipt. It clearly said "customer copy" on the top. How can it not me my recipt if it clearing states "customer copy" on the top?

Order amended to 'enjoy your food' at 2.15 so called the restaurant to advise it wasn't yet delivered. He said they were busy and it would be another 30/40 minutes and the order status amended because just eat do this automatically!! I have always been advised of time delays on prior orders from just eat. We then received it 30 minutes later and both had no cheese on them and the ice cream had melted to a liquid which had to be binned. Very unhappy customer!!

Many times I order from subway, many times they make mistakes and many times I forgive but this is where I draw the line. I order food on justeat(won't allow me to review it there), order goes through and over an hour past the delivery time it states "enjoy your food" okay, maybe they're around the corner, cool. No, I have to call the restaurant and they tell me "it was delivered to someone else", that is absolutely NOT okay. I'm waiting for food to get here and get zero notification that they made a mistake until I call THEM. They either need to write addresses on bags, names or SOMETHING to get this problem fixed because now I have to wait additional time to get the right food. This will not stand Edit: even after having time to redo the order they STILL forgot one item. Its not even worth fighting anymore.

The opening promotion of the 12 Days of Christmas was buy a foot long and get another free. When I came to pay I scanned my subcard and the price still came to the full amount for 2 foot longs. I mentioned the promotion but I was told that this store was not taking part. I didn’t argue, I just paid I full and ate my (very delicious) lunch. Later that week I googled the promotion and found a PDF on subways homepage which started Newmarket we’re taking part. A week or so later I walked passed the store again and they were even advertising it in the window! I wrote to subwaycares referencing the PDF and got a box standard robotic answer which claimed that valued me as a customer! My follow up email (where I mentored the window advert didn’t ever warrant a reply! I will be using up my free subs and once they’ve gone I will not be returning to subway ever again.

The bread is often not fresh, so it's stale and hard. There are hundreds of flies flying around the restaurant without sufficient insect repellent or insectacuter provision. Often many of the toppings are looking wilted or have ran out, Or sat they empty with the source remnants around the empty container. This is a rather slap dash restaurant and takeaway that seems to not have much pride in itself. As a franchise I am surprised that the head office do not check up on the standards of hygiene availability and service at their restaurants, be they franchises or not. "Needs more work" !!

I have read some of the awful reviews about the Affleck - mainly they concern Jackie. They are hilarious, as these people cleary don't get it and should probably stick to the boring places they obviously prefer. I assure you they won't be missed.She certainly can be rude, but I and everyone I know think she's brilliant and a proper character, which is so rare these days. And the pub is an absolute gem. A proper country pub which concentrates on its beer - you won't get a better pint anywhere, especially at these prices. John is a great host and prides himself on to keeping a perfect pint. That is very rare too these days. Ok, it doesn't serve food, but it does have various vans at different times and barbeques. How many pubs do you know that thrive on drinks sales only, especially when charging well under the average. It's because the pub is so popular - and the family that run it are the reason for that. People come from miles around as well as locally - it's a great mix from all walks of life. My favourite pub without any doubt - I just wished I lived closer.

Costa Coffee ☕ the coffee was good the sweet treats were tasty. Served quick and the place was clean. However the staff seemed a little unorganised. It's an average costa coffee not exceptional but good for a coffee and chat.

We didn’t really eat here, apart from a tasty but small bowl of chips. The atmosphere is great, plenty of space, plenty of places to sit. Lots and lots of tv screens with all sport showing. Staff are very accommodating, turning tv stations over for guests to watch different matches. Floor service available and drinks/ food can be brought to your table. Giant screen which is brilliant to watch!
