Costa Coffee in Forest Heath

Costa Coffee ☕ the coffee was good the sweet treats were tasty. Served quick and the place was clean. However the staff seemed a little unorganised. It's an average costa coffee not exceptional but good for a coffee and chat.

I think it's disgraceful the fact my 3 year old son wet himself because I had to buy a coffee to gain the receipt.. yes I was sitting in with friends... but when a 3 year old needs to go... they need to and I couldn't jump a queue of 6 people to get a receipt.. lucky someone who was sat down gave me theirs so I could take him resulting in to late result. And the costa member of staff just walked past me saying you need a receipt with code without even letting me speak.. and being told that a homeless person uses it so they put a lock on it... which I find even more disgusting of locking people out who need it. The staff here didn't smile once.. and looked miserable. Not a hospitality at all.

If you’re going to have Baristas please train them. Went today and ordered a skinny flat white with an extra shot and no one knew how to make it! Seriously??!! Bit like a mechanic not knowing how to do an oil change!!!

TWICE in a row I've been to Costa, separate brands, both OUT OF STOCK of maple latte. How the F can you advertise it all over your shops and run out of stock? It's pathetic and beyond a joke. I'm sick of you arrogant big brands thinking you can advertise something and not bother to stock it. You should be sued for false advertising.

Very cool inside on a hot day. Perfect for a cold olternitive rather than a hot coffee on a hot day.

Good safety measures in place, staff really helpful and friendly. A lot of drinks and food to choose from. Not too expensive. If you buy from Costa a lot I would recomend getting thier app as you can save points which can in turn save you money, and once you have saved enough points you can use them to purchase items! Saving you more money.

COVID measures in place felt very safe, wasn't too busy, can be quite hard to get a table as there is reduced seating now.

As always delicious coffee but also as always prohibitively overpriced..

coata coffee newmarket is very good for the coffee and the food. The service can be a little slow. But ..no toilets... They are out of order. This has been for a few months. People have to walk about 50yds to the public toilets . Not good enough.

Never any issues here, pleasant staff that accommodate requests, little cramped at the till area, but all in all a nice Costa sit in.

The worst Costa ever, dirty shop, unwelcoming staff and cold drinks pouring down the sides of dirty cups, dirty tables not wiped down from the night before, I visit alot of Costa's on my travels and the Bury and Sudbury ones are amazing with great staff!!! But this one was sadly the worst... I hate leaving bad reviews especially for a Costa as I'm a huge fan of the chain but sorry guys if you dont want to work with the public and take a pride in your job dont do it simples.... theres plenty of other jobs out there that you may be better suited to.

Great place to have a catch up with friends. Always busy but plenty of tables so not a problem. The staff are really efficient and friendly. Went in this time following their refit. Lovely and clean and with the new chairs there seems to be so much more space. Seems also to have had a swap round in staffing with the addition of a couple of new faces and the loss of a couple of others. I love this Costa, it’s so friendly. They really seem to know how to make you feel welcome. The only negative is that since the refit the partition between the Barista area and the seating has gone so at busy times it can get a bit noisy from the coffee machine.

Call in here sometimes as they have soya milk. Last time I was here it was so grubby. Windows covered in finger marks, loos unpleasant, tables not clear and flies everywhere. Staff friendly and accommodating though and the coffee was okay. Not been back since.

Have been meeting here with a friend every week for years now. Clean cafe and tables well spaced out. Good assortment of chairs/sofas to suit individual tastes. The baristas that work here are polite, friendly and do a great job, despite often being really busy. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the efficiency varies due to fluctuations in staffing....sometimes there seems to be loads of staff, whereas other times there are only two people trying to juggle taking orders, using till, making coffee and clearing tables. This isn’t always a problem but some staff seem to manage better than others.

Both my husband visited this joint for a coffee and a light breakfast. The service was impeccable and the food and beverage was mediocre. There were flies everywhere! Flies even in the glass cabinets, on all the cakes and buns! We had a couple of sandwiches so they were wrapped up. Flies were also on the wrapped up sandwiches as well. Totally disgusting!

I think I am addicted to the new Coconut Vanilla Latte! They are delicious, but the takeaway one I had in Costa Newmarket, had no sprinkles although there were no customers waiting when I went in and the waitress didn’t engage in conversation. Completely different experience to the one at Royston Costa yesterday. Disappointing. I didn’t realise until I was back on the road so couldn’t return to say.

Usual Costa experience really. Like most, some of the seating in an the back which is fairly dark and a bit overcrowded. Can't complain about the service though.

Not very busy, so the service was quick. Left a little disappointed after the large latte I ordered was only three quarters full, but the staff were nice and polite,which was a positive.

We asked for toast as others did,they had no bread, only teacakes.We waited half an hour for them.whe. We. Did finally get them they were cold the drinks were overfilled and messy absolute rubbish customer service.

Unfriendly staff .place was disgusting bins overflowing mess over work tops mess on the floor behind the counter .asked to speak to a manager they said they would not have one in place for 3 weeks .

There was a big sign out the front advertising a bacon roll for 1£ before 11am with a coffee. So against my better judgement I decided to have an average coffe and get the roll for my hungry 2.5 yro it was 10am. When I go to order I am told that they don't have bacon rolls!! I wanted to walk about but with a hungry toddler that wasn't happening so got a coffee and a sausage bap wich they dint even honer the bacon deal as a substitute. I feel ripped off with false bate advertising.

Hot chocolate and Tiffin the best!!!! Always pop in when shopping in Newmarket, very polite staff, would highly reccomend

I went to this branch with my Mum as she is there nearly 3 times a week. Was easy to see why is a great way to catch up with friends and even the staff get use to customers and even their preferred orders, lovely to see

I am a frequent visitor to Costa coffee shops and I have been to this one before This visit however I was not impressed. I was asked for my order by a young lad behind the counter and gave him it, he however seemed more interested in watching the police who were coming into the shop so much so he failed to take mu correct order as well as not inputting in so I could pay for it I then managed to get his attention and not even an apology for his lack of customer service. As I was waiting the manageress asked me what I was waiting for as he had not passed my order on I cannot fault the manageress but the young lad behind the counter needs to revisit the customer services training

Love this place. Always on top form. Customer service is amazing. The manager becky is just a gem. Love love love.
