Belgique Café and Patisserie in Epping is a delightful spot that brings a European café vibe to the heart of Essex. Known for its stylish interiors and a welcoming ambiance, it’s a great place to enjoy a coffee or treat after a walk or day out. The patisserie selection is visually stunning, with vibrant colors and meticulous presentation that makes every dessert a feast for the eyes. However, despite the impressive display, there’s one noticeable drawback: the sweetness level. While the pastries look amazing, some of them are overwhelmingly sweet, to the point that it becomes a bit much, especially if you’re not a fan of sugary treats. This high sugar content can feel a bit indulgent, almost too much so. It would be fantastic if Belgique offered a range of semi-sweet or less sugary options to cater to those who prefer a more balanced taste. A reduction in sugar could elevate the flavors of the ingredients, allowing the natural tastes to shine through without overpowering them. The café offers an extensive drink menu, from lattes to fresh juices, which pairs well with the patisserie. The staff are friendly and attentive, and service is generally prompt. Belgique is popular among locals, and it can get busy, especially on weekends, so it might be worth planning ahead if you prefer a quieter setting. Weekend bit too pricey but weekdays is amazing, happy hour was the best. And set menu food was delicious. Definitely visiting from Mon to Fri is well worth the 💰

First time I dined here , I would have given 5stars for food . Second time it was it was good . This is third & last. Cold food , overcooked food . Service non existent . How hard can it be to cook & prepare a traditional roast dinner. Burnt hard potatoes This was poor , poor , poor.

Nice quiet space and a good variety of pastries, toasties abd great variety of hot drinks, frappes, iced lattes, smoothies. I ordered the pistachio and salted caramel frappe with whipped cream on top. It was sweet enough for me so asked for a bit more syrup and they did. Very nice.

Caffe Nero, Epping, is convenient and pleasant enough. The thing that lets it down is the need for a refurb. Some chairs are really worn and the decor needs freshening up. Worst of all the toilets are rather grotty and need a deep clean and new fixtures and fittings. This is true for the Loughton and to some extent Chingford cafes too. They really need to up their game. Its a shame for the staff, who try their best, and for the customers who pay a small fortune.

Amazing ambience , good food, impeccable service and the perfect location for a day out whatever the occasion. Roydon Indian Fusion Restaurant is situated in the heart of Roydon Marina. After taking a stroll of the breathtaking Marina this is the perfect place to recharge and rest whilst dining on authentic and flavourful Indian Cuisine. The service is unmatched from valet parking (for certain events) to kind and welcoming staff. The restaurant itself boasts a large main dining space decked with a fully loaded bar and elegant artworks. There is also a light up mirror in the bathroom perfect for bathroom selfie lovers. For more exclusive dining there is a separate section that can be closed off which provides not only the perfect ambience for a night out or birthday diner, but also for corporate events. The windows have been professionally wrapped with a stained glass coating of sorts which during the day reflect light with all sorts of vibrant colours to give a mesmerising hue to the room. This allows for each of the dining and lunch experiences to be unique and carry their own flavour of ambience. Talking about flavour the food boasts plenty of that! Not only do you have your classic Indian dishes but there is also a good mix of seafood. I am not a fan of fish however the king prawns were absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend giving them a go! All in All it is a 5 star experience for dining and a day out!

My “around the way burger shop” never lets me down, tastes better than kfc and the service is better too.
