The atmosphere was nice, it is a small place, but I was disappointed by the limited drink options. I had a burrito, which was okay, but nothing special. It lacked the bold flavors I was hoping for. The service was friendly, but overall, the experience was just average. Not bad, but I expected a bit more.

I go to this store periodically for the selection of organic produce that they offer, every time I am very pleased! Everything on the shelves is very well organized and you can find anything you need. All sold brands have very well environmental pledges. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free ready to eat snacks/meals are offered as well. I also liked the fact that they sell loose spices and you can weigh them before buying :) Very good kombucha and natural soft/fizzy drink selection. Fresh pastry/cakes are served as well as a nice takeaway treat! Enjoy a few snapshots taken today. ☺️

Food was served BOILING hot, boiling bubbles and everything, so be warned 🤣. Service was excellent, both the young lady and the woman were really warm and attentive, and the food was great. Menu wasn't long so you kinda only had different Bibimbaps to choose from (hence the name). I chose the N°5 (Bulgogi Japchae – £18.50), which was really good, and I couldn't finish, so they gave me a container to take the rest home. There were many Korean people there, which told me they must be loyal to original Korean food, so it was a nice experience. Maybe it was a bit pricy for me, but they do serve it very well and the workers are really nice, so I'd reccomend it quite a lot!

My father and I recently dined at this spot nestled on Mill Road. Having hastily unpacked my room for university, my father and I trekked over Parker’s piece to Fin Boys. We had both long wanted to try this restaurant however one of our family has a fish allergy thus we had previously admired from afar. The reputation preceded it and we were excited, if not a touch apprehensive, to see whether our lofty expectations could ever be matched. Spoiler, they were. The food was impeccable and the complementing wines were a real treat. We opted for two small plates and two large plates which was more than enough food for two people. The dishes were incredibly rich and the quality of ingredients meant you were sufficiently satiated. The vibe inside the restaurant was relaxed and pleasant, with each member of the team taking their time to enjoy genuine conversation with the diners at chefs table about each dish coming out. Whilst the menu is on the expensive side, I believe this a very fair price for the quality of produce and the high standard of work. Finboys is conscious of its quality and I respect any business that doesn’t set its stool out too low. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to celebrate an occasion and I can’t wait to return.

I've been visiting the Alexandra Arms on and off for over three years, and unfortunately, one member of staff, Raphael, has consistently made visits unpleasant. He's regularly rude and dismissive to patrons, which I’ve witnessed on multiple occasions. Yesterday was the last straw. I was at the pub with about 20 friends and my 2-year-old daughter, who had been quietly and calmly enjoying the meal. After eating, she wanted to stretch her legs and explore a little, as toddlers naturally do. I accompanied her and ensured she wasn’t disturbing anyone. After just a couple of minutes, Raphael approached me in an unnecessarily rude and aggressive tone, insisting that my daughter must remain in her highchair. No flexibility, no explanation — just a harsh demand. What made it worse was that another young child was also walking around with their parent and they weren’t told off. With no other option, we all left and took our business to another pub nearby. Raphael's behaviour isn’t just unpleasant — it’s bad for business. I hope the management takes this seriously and considers how much customer goodwill is being lost.
