Absolutely shocking I order from here in the past over 30+ times and yesterday Friday 25th October you send me the worst food flavourless I was heartbroken I wanted a refund but infact keep the money you want to send out food like that you lost a long term loyal customer I’m never ordering from here again you ruined my experience so much I ordered from this place because the food used to be nice now it’s like any other money making restaurant very disappointing Zis seems to be going backwards instead of moving up and getting better getting a lot worse shocking that you could even send this out and the worst part is them chicken tenders 🤮🤮 no seasoning just frozen chicken that was soggy disgraceful I’m absolutely appalled

I recently dined at Zi’s Piri Piri, and I was really impressed. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, making it great value for the quality.

I took my brother, who usually isn't a fan of pizza, and got him the Italian Hot. He absolutely loved it and said it was the best pizza he's had in England! The extra large pizza for just £9.99 was incredible value too. Couldn't ask for more!

I live in London but every time I come to Newmarket for few days, i drive about another 10 miles to Cambridge just to eat in Zis piri piri because its the Best the Test of the foid the service and the good price. Try it and you will see my point don't miss it if you come to Cambridge.

East or west jishnu is the best!

Great 👍 Halal Option quite centric to the city*. Waiting time is always long. Sauces are often empty! Food is tasty. But cutlery 🍴 are very often missing, or very cheap quality plastic & difficult to eat or cut chicken with them as they will break* unless you are willing to mess your hands.

With the type of food served, it's inevitably going to be compared to the likes of Nandos - and I'd say this is definitely better. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was - the sauce they use for their grilled chicken is very tasty and the chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection. Peri peri chips were also nice and crispy. Service was also good with food arriving relatively quickly, within 10-15 minutes. Bathroom was also clean!

I just called to restaurant for. delivery , the guy over the call was extremely rude and ill mannered. The restaurant need to hire people who actually have some attitudes of customers care.

We had a day out in Cambridge and visited Cambridge mosque. We were peckish and saw this lovely little food shop. We went inside and were warmly welcomed and shown our seats, we then got given menus. We ordered quite a few things as there were 7 of us. From the pizzas to the burgers to the grilled chicken - EVERYTHING WAS FAB! Super delicious and had taste. My personal favourite was the pizza and burgers 10/10. Great presentation for the food and excellent service. Very clean shop with a 5 star rating! The place was busy but the staff were working so quick to ensure everyone gets their food on time! So happy with the service and the tasty food from here. Will definitely come back if ever visiting Cambridge in future Thank you!

Came to Cambridge for the first time. Zi’s looked busy which is always a good sign, decided to eat here, food was really good and the service was excellent. Definitely will come here again when in Cambridge

probably the best value meal you will find anywhere in the country in the current climate of food prices... very tasty and filling... Read the menu carefully and select the offers specially on the Pizza... can’t go wrong with the Peri Peri platters.. Interior more suited for a quick sitdown meal rather than anything of luxury... bear in mind you are in a student city... great vibrant atmosphere everywhere.... only issue is parking is a mission around the area.. but pay and display available on the side roads although limited..

We placed a very large delivery order tonight (for around 10 people) and everything was correct, hot and tasty. We had multiple burgers with requests for items to be added or removed and all of our requests were handled perfectly. Halal food shop in Cambridge , we went to visit Cambridge central mosque and was looking for a halal shop , found this shop , brilliant food at very reasonable price , and staff is very welcoming.

I've been a regular customer at Zis Pir Piri, consistently enjoying their chicken and rice. However, I've noticed a recent decline in the quality of their chicken servings. The portions have become disappointingly small, which is not reflective of the price. While the flavors remain excellent, the reduced portion sizes have been a letdown. Not worth for money dissapointed

Zi's Piri Piri in Cambridge gets a lot of love for its tasty and well-cooked chicken, often mentioned as being better than Nando's. Their menu has a nice variety, including pizzas, burgers, wraps, and loaded fries, which many people enjoy for both taste and portion size. The prices of meals are much lower compared to other places, yet there's no compromise on taste or quality. It's still amazing how such generous portions of delicious food are offered at such a low cost.

Favourite food spot in Cambridge

Needs more space as it is very crowded most of the time. The service is fast and all types of food available. There is a small and clean lavatory upstairs to wash if you prefer to eat by hands. Peri peri sauce is quite good. 👍

Great food - the tandoori pizza was very well made and to the specifications given to them i.e. thin base. It is extremely busy here - we went on a Friday night so had to push through to get to the ordering till! However, the food was with us within 15 mins and the staff were very friendly.

the food is fantastic however i have experienced a rude service from one lady working in zi’s, at the till i have ordered a large pizza however she offered me to get an XL pizza as it is the same price as L, i agreed and told her i want the bigger one, when the pizza came it was in size large instead of extra large, i gave it back to the server but she started talking to me in a mean way, for example she was convincing me that i said to her that i want large because im not going to be able to finish the XL, when this never came out of my mouth, i disagreed and she started arguing with me, i know better what i said and she should of just apologised but instead she kept going, im not mad about the pizza im mad for her attitude towards me.

Every time we in Cambridge i just have to eat here and enjoy this fantastic chicken again and again

Fully halal pizza place! I’ve been here too many times to count during my time in Cambridge, and it has hit EVERYYYY SINGLE TIME. A 10000% cambridge staple. Delicious, well-priced, and large portioned food. The pizza’s and wings are nice every time, so highly recommended!! The chicken burgers, less so, as they’re on the drier side. Quick and prompt delivery - so overall, highly HIGHLYYYYYY recommended!!

So ordered some food the other day. Placed a order for all day special. Placed the order at 19:23 driver calls at 19:46 asking to come downstairs to pick up the order. Strange right... pick up the order... pizza cold, chips cold, and one wing missing LOL. I live about 10-12 minute drive on a car away so I call the takeaway. Unfortunately the lines are busy so called in next day. Lady answers the phone then passes me on to this thug... Sorry we don't accept complains from day before, no refund and we have a very fast delivery drivers LOL Then I was told to be careful with what I say. When I offered to go to the shop and test his cooking skills and driving skills he refused to take on the offer. Still will leave stars and hope that they read this and understand that I'm not looking for free food, but some respect for paying costumers would be appreciated. Apart from that a brilliant takeaway
