Great place to share food with friends

Seriously quick service, but not much by way of chat (they were incredibly busy). The only thing that wasn't great was eating next to the queue for the restaurant next door but that can't be helped at the O2.

I live in Ipswich, but every time I visit Cambridge I eat here, great food, great customer service, definitely recommend it!,

There are many halal places on Mill road and the surrounding area offering halal peri peri chicken. I must say this is by far the best I’ve had! So much better than the original Nando’s (when halal), Ladz and the newly run peri peri grill house a few doors down! Apologies for naming the other establishments, it’s nothing against them as their food is sufficient however Zis peri peri is just that much better! Fresh chicken that isn’t baby sized, moist, packed with seasoning and grilled to perfection! The rice is another bonus, freshly cooked daily oozing with flavour! I haven’t tried the other items on the menu but if you’re after grilled chicken with various marinades this is definitely the place to go! Unintentionally saved the best till last. Let’s hope the food remains consistent as I’ll definitely be returning.

Travelled from Yorkshire to Cambridge for a Tree House experience and decided to venture out for some Halal food. Delighted with this place… super quick service with some great food despite a crazy rush of customers (we tried the wings and strips meals) & even more delighted to see you guys supporting the boycott with your drinks selection!

A beautiful place, a Cambridge institution for cheap and tasty food—we come here every Friday for a party platter and pizza.

This has been a family favourite for a while, the chicken is marinated amazingly, the flavours are incredible...no other place can match the flavour. The staff are great and whether you sit in or get takeaway it's absolutely wonderful. Most recently there have been some changes and the pizza isn't so great anymore.

One of my all time favorite places to go in Cambridge!! Honestly you can never go wrong with Zi's Piri Piri. It just screams "Must Try". One of the best Pizzas, Grilled Chicken, Burgers, Wings, not to mention an amazing value for money, this place 100% rules Cambridge in the food business. Not only that but every single time I visit, I get to experience such amazing customer service from such respectful and friendly staff. Huge shout-out to Shaheena for always being so helpful, amazing and always looking out for her customers. A huge shout-out to the owner Zidan for recruiting great staff like her and for being such a down to earth friendly presence in the restaurant. A 100% recommended must try place from a foodie such as myself. Take my word for it. Hands down a 5 Star experience.

Like Nandos, but tastier and cheaper. Went there for dinner, and the place was packed and buzzing with takeaway and delivery orders. Still the order arrived quickly. We ordered chicken rice and a Mexican pizza. Both dishes were flavourful and tasty. The prices were also very economical.

Economical and quality halal food..!

My favourite and only take away for the last 2 years. Sometimes feel like eating something else, but when the time to order comes... I can't resist to order my usual one more time!! Delivery always within the expected time, Sometimes a bit earlier. And my request "chicken and wings VERY WELL DONE please " it's always answered ! I'm definitely a spoiled customer and Zis is doing a great job! Best regards to everyone in the Zis team

I ordered dinner for my niece as a birthday treat. When Don (Just Ask driver) arrived, she wasn't answering the door. Don was such a gentleman that he waited for the recipient, gave her the food, and left. What great service - By the way, the food was incredible too. 😲 Top marks

The food was good, especially their rice and tandoori chicken was too good. I had a delivery so the chips were lukewarm. But overall food was nice.

We consistently order from Zis Piri Piri. The prices are super-reasonable and the portions are large (such as the single Curly Fries, we divide it as a side among 3 of us). Their Piri Piri chicken is very good and it's our cat's favorite food. We have tried Pizzas, Piri Piri chickens, wraps, nuggets etc. and we're pleased with their food. It's a busy place for a family to eat in so we enjoy it through ordering delivery from their website.

very bad service and confused on order

Worst customer service. Supervisors don’t know a thing about supervising or people management. It was such a bad experience. Team and management itself doesn't care about the orders placed neither do they give a thing about customers. Not sure why the management itself is so poorly organised. Disappointed as it keeps happening messing up the orders and later the management not even considering the whole thing. Let alone the apology the anger and grudge the supervisors show towards putting the right order on table is insane.

The girl behind the till is rude,takes ages for the food to come. The food is good but the vibes are so negative. I won't be coming back in a hurry. It should be a really welcoming business but unfortunately it is not.

Me and my mate rode there from Bristol on a 313 miler charity bike ride for Gaza. I can only say that we made an excellent decision on choosing Zi's. Food was excellent. We spent about £30 as we needed alot of it. Keep ip the good work. The thing that attracted us was the HMC certification... We'll be back InshaAllah...

The quantity is much appreciated for the price. It's such a wonderful place for a cheap eat especially when you are travelling in groups.

Great food, great place to eat. Can get a bit busy at times, so may need to wait a little for a table, however it is kept clean and the workers will sort it all. We had a variety of food from the menu, all was great tasting and we had no issues whatsoever. 5* from me!

Their food was amazing, but customer service was very poor. The girl on the front counter taking the oder was very rude. They never smile, and body language was ugly. I was so disappointed 😞

Highly recommend for the Great tasting food. Peri wings and fries and delicious - juicy, fresh and full of flavour. Zi's Tandoori Special Pizza has a great flavour and you ask request to have fewer chillies and/or jalapenos. They have a good selection of drinks. It can get busy but if you are happy waiting then you will get served. Efficient ordering system and waiter service. Can eat in small or large groups of even 8-10 people or takeout/deliery.

Fast food shop located at Mill Road, Cambridge. Good value of price, fresh cook grilled chicken or pizza for filling your stomach.

We ordered rap and pizza from their website and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The pizza had meatballs and chicken on it, which made it even more flavorful. The delivery was also very quick, even on a busy night. We really enjoyed it!

I heard about Zi’s from my cousin who stumbled across it when visiting Cambridge and searching for a halal spot. I took my family there having travelled from Birmingham and was not disappointed. We ordered a chicken family platter and a special offer of BOGOF pizza. The restaurant was very busy (always a good sign), staff were polite and friendly. The chicken was cooked to perfection(better than Nando’s according to my husband😆), sides of fries and onion rings were generous portions, the spring special pizza was my particular favourite topped generously with spring onions, grilled chicken, green olives and oozing with garlic sauce . There were a wide variety of tasty sauce bottles to take to your table and the wooden spoon table markers was a cute addition. A special touch which was the icing on the cake for me…..no boycotted drinks in sight but a whole menagerie of alternative options. We thanked the manager for the wonderful food, he was so nice , friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be telling all my Brummy friends about this place and we’ll be looking forward to it on our next visit to Cambridge.

Pizza was good and so was chips, a bit on the small side. The peri peri chicken was massively off from what you’d expect, it had lots of oozing sauce on the plate that had a bitter after taste and strange smell. The chicken was dry inside and flavour was far from peri peri. Would have the chicken ever again. The guys are nice though.

Nice arabic restaurant with halal food. I forgot my bag in their and one of the employees was kind enough to keep an eye on it for me, so no one steals it. Will visit in the future.

The first time I went here, I was blown away. Instant 5 stars, but I came here again and was thoroughly disappointed. This place used to be really cheap and good value for money. I remember paying like £3 for really good wings and a generous portion of chips, but this time I had a pizza... and it wasn't it. £15 for a really small pizza? Behave. The restaurant was virtually empty and the pizza took like 30 mins to make, and it came out burned anyway.

A nice restaurant selling halal dishes!

It was our 2nd visit to this place and I would say that it has the most TASTY Peri Peri Chicken I have ever had. For all those who love some spice in their food should visit Zis Peri Peri and ENJOY delicious Wings and Grilled Chicken. My every trip to Cambridge mean Zis Peri Peri food. And whenever my family or friends visit us, we would like to take them to this food bar.

Great service, managed to book us a table for 14 people last minute. Food was really good. Loaded fries and rice was excellent. Chicken was cooked well, and soft, and the flavour was delicious. We had kids with us,and they really enjoyed. Definitely recommend .

I tried the spring pizza and the hot coriander chicken pizza and I would definitely recommend it. The food was delivered quite fast and it was very tasty.Also, I ordered chicken wings and tandoori chicken with my family and they came in very good quality! The atmosphere is very welcoming and cosy. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed.

At first when we entered we did not have much hope with the clutter and dirty restaurant however the food was amazing, their rice is amazing and also the chicken is very succulent and flavourful. Will definitely return when in Cambridge.

Best Piri Piri in Cambridge juicy, tasty, fresh.

The Peri Peri chicken are nice. Can’t say the same for pizza though. Choose the Peri Peri chips and rice for the sides (Family Platter), both sides are nice. Increased in price (most of the photos shows that Family Platter cost GBP18.99) to GBP23.99. However the portion of the sides (especially the rice) justified the price. Don’t mind at all to come again.
