Had a lovely time, v cool pub! Service and staff were great; thanks to Flick who served us, she was amazing and super friendly:)

This place was so cool! First time going in and the bartender, I think her name was Flick? Super friendly and welcoming, she was the best when recommending what drinks we would like and answered all of our questions. Loved her energy!!!

I had the best time there! Cracking atmosphere. I was served by Flick (I think that's what she said) who went above and beyond. Will definitely go again.

I've visited a fair few of Greene Kings pubs in the Bury area but was excited to try Grain & Hop as it seemed like a more modern concept. While the menu is the same, the place has a really nice atmosphere. Went there for a couple of drinks on Saturday. All the staff seemed friendly and happy, especially Flick who was serving us behind the bar downstairs.

Great place for a pint to watch the football and play some pool. The bar staff have always been helpful and friendly, especially Max who served us today!

Now why would you shut the upstairs with all the football tvs at half 5 on a Saturday night

Great pub/bar, but have the tendency to close the upstairs when the football is on, which causes carnage downstairs. Not ideal.

Flick is a perfect hostess, polite and kind, nothing was too much trouble for her. She deserves a promotion.

Not really a sports bar, it shows a couple of sports on the telly but hasn't got the atmosphere of a sports bar. They sell alcohol free Guinness for £5.30 which is day light robbery even for Cambridge. The food was high price and small plates

I never really drink to be honest, I met this young man who had shared interest in his support for rangers football club. That made me stay and consume more whiskey and honestly that was the best new years of my life. Fraser is the best!

Had a great night at the Grain and Hop. I asked the barman for his name because he was so pleasant and offered the best customer service. Fraser.

The place ok, food ok but to sit having a meal in the middle of loads of people watching football is wrong, one man tried to take some of brother inlaws desert. We finished food as quick as possible and got out, tiolets over flowing. Service excellent and staff friendly but sorry Would by pass next time. Upstairs tables looked better.

Love watching sport here, lots of screens and great atmosphere. So many beers to choose from and they rotate them all the time. It’s been a while but my faverate is the Bambino!

Great selection of drinks, food is reasonably priced. Most sport matches are shown and you might be lucky enough to meet the amazing "Flick"

(To find this place, go straight down the alley next to the kebab shop. There is no entrance on the main street.) Lively bar serving alcohol until 11:00 p.m. There are some games such as a pool table and others in the back. There is a pretty good selection of beers on tap. A good crowd of people on Wednesday night, and I believe I heard live music upstairs? There is a kebab takeout shop right up the alley, which is convenient.

I was there last night for my son's B'day celebration, and would like to highly recommend Mike, who told me that he was working in the kitchen, who went out of his way to help me when he noticed that I was disabled and helped to carry my snacks from downstairs to upstairs. Very unusal to find this level of service which I very much appreciated. I cannot comment on the food as I only had prepacked snacks.

Amazing bar with amazing staff. Shufl board, darts, pool, Photo Booth, board games and so much more. Set over two amazing floors with a heated garden too and to top it off amazing views of the park too. Definitely visit here.
