Oh my God Rachel was the best bartender I have ever had in my life, she gave me therapy and fixed all of my problems. 10/10. I will be coming back here for the rest of my life.

I had a night out here with a group of friends. The drinks were enjoyable, and the overall atmosphere was vibrant and bustling, which made for a lively evening. We were seated upstairs, though some of the chairs were a bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by one of the bartenders. A female bartender who served us on multiple occasions came across as quite unfriendly. She placed our drinks down harshly and repeated our orders back in a mocking tone, which made us feel unwelcome. While we understand that everyone can have off days, a level of professionalism is still expected, especially in a customer-facing role. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests, as the venue itself has a lot of potential.

Great pub with loads of beer and Ales, great pool tables along with shuffle board. Great service from bar maid Evie. Great pouring of the Green king level head :)

The food was fantastic, and the waitress serving me Miki was super friendly, she was really helpful as well explaining some of the dishes as I have allergies. Great service and great food, highly recommend.

Came here for the first time a few days ago and I loved the atmosphere here, was served by Lucy and she was so chatty, friendly and had an amazing bar presence, definitely made the whole experience better!

Been here before in daytime nice "sharing plates" and beers. This was a Saturday booked at 6pm. Very busy, delayed drinks and food , items not brought to table food not hot and lacking flavour. Had to leave due to show booking. Very disappointed

Abby was an absolute gem! Her warm smile and friendly demeanor instantly made us feel welcome. She was incredibly attentive, checking in on us regularly and ensuring we had everything we needed. Avoid for food on a Saturday night. Order all wrong. Mac and cheese was gross and small portion. Chicken was a tiny portion. Service terrible and so loud. Spent meal trying to aboid beijg smacked by a pool queue. Need a seperate food area. Expensive and poor quality food. Management not bothered. Will not recommend

Love grain and hop - max was the best, so personable and attentive. Lucy made sure my friends and my glasses were never empty.

Food and service are great, and they have a fairly nice selection of craft ales. Usual bland atmosphere, like most city pubs before nightfall.

Had a fab time here the other day! Lovely atmosphere with some very attentive staff - Lola at the bar was fenomenal and very easy to talk to. Was shocked to hear it was one of her first shifts!

Went here on a Friday at 7 and sat downstairs and the music and tv were way too loud! You couldn’t hear what the person next to you was saying and we ended up leaving early and going somewhere else. It’s a shame because otherwise the food/atmosphere is nice.

Hands down one of the best places to go for a bite & a pint in Cambridge. The staff is friendly, attentive, and fun to be around. Lucy was especially kind, will be coming back from her customer service alone. 11/10 recommend.

Poor staff. Said i was rude because i asked them why they were charging £5 per person to play darts. Place could be great it staff chilled out a bit.

Always a solid choice when in Cambridge - feel i'd spend a lot of time there if it was more on my doorstep. Solid choice on draught for my preference - only let down was the cooler was off on one side so ended up with warm pints! However, once noticed, was rectified with a re-pour from working tap (bonus points for service). Food is reasonably good for price, feel it's what most would expect - enjoy that they have good variety and vegetarian choices for those who need them. Always something different on every day of the week. Upstairs space looks great for private functions. Easily seen if approaching from Parkside, however, easily missed if on regent street side.

Only ever been here for a late afternoon bite to eat and drink. Firstly they do 0% Guinness ✅ Relaxed atmosphere that has a student vibe. Pool tables down stairs and really friendly staff. We tend to sit up stairs where our toddler will have a run around and it’s generally quieter that suits us. Food is really good. I recently had the steak pie which was one of the best I’ve had.

Greene King Pub Trying to write reviews for all of the Cambridge pubs therefore entered this restaurant. I thought this is my 4th Greene King pub review. I found that the sunday roast of Greene King pubs have the very similar potatoes and meat. Probably everything is from the same supplier. Didn't expect the steak sandwich was not hot. I had ordered a similar sandwich from other (non Greene King) pub before, it was a toasted sandwich. I should have asked if it's hot or cold before making this order. My bad. But the sandwich tasted nice. With a generous amount of fillings and sides for a reasonable price. But personally I prefer hot food for such a cold day. The Sunday roast was very similar to other Greene King pub. Relieved that the beef tasted okay, without strange taste or smell. The vegetables were not overcooked either. The pub locates at the quiet side of Cambridge town centre. It's easily being overlooked. So I think it is a good place for private parties. Clean and open restaurant with 2 TVs downstairs.

I Had a wonderful time celebrating with friends here! The atmosphere was brilliant, and the staff were really friendly! In particular Flick (I think) who spent a little time to recommend drinks and serve us! 😃 I will be back again and next time, I'll try the shuffleboard and play a bit of pool. I've visited a fair few of Greene Kings pubs in the Bury area but was excited to try Grain & Hop as it seemed like a more modern concept. While the menu is the same, the place has a really nice atmosphere. Went there for a couple of drinks on Saturday. All the staff seemed friendly and happy, especially Flick who was serving us behind the bar downstairs.

Had a lovely time, v cool pub! Service and staff were great; thanks to Flick who served us, she was amazing and super friendly:)
