The best restaurants in Petersfield Cambridge East of England

Busy city restaurant, but not enough seats downstairs. Plenty of choices available but a little on the expensive side. Not the best Pret A Manger I’ve visited.

If you like your coffee don’t come here, you’ll be disappointed. This place presents itself as a proper coffee place, with 5 options of roast and origin and such. But what’s the point when all the espresso is under-extracted and the Americano tastes like dishwater? Cappuccino is the same: the coffee flavour is completely lost in the milk. And what kind of coffee specialist only serves in paper cups, even for sit-in?

Amazing Neapolitan-style pizzas topped with top-quality ingredients, including some which are usually really difficult to find in UK, such as friarielli and scarola (leafy greens). All the pizzas are really yummy and the owners are kind and friendly.

Estuve una vez antes y comí pasteles para llevar en Mill Road Fair. Tuvimos un gran café y un pastel de calabaza inusual. Grande, no demasiado dulce. Me gustó. Servicio rápido, quizás brusco. Pero bueno.

Amazing food, especially for the price

Amazing restaurant with super delicious dumplings. The price is also very fair and the team really friendly. I would highly recommend 😊

The space is really lovely. Flat white with soy milk is decent (can be a bit stronger in coffee). I wasn’t too tempted by the food options. Maybe vegans can enjoy more than I do :)

Just been to Slingers on station road. Our table was wobbling so we politely asked if we could move tables. The response from the waitress was incredibly rude. She then threw the chairs back as she tried to fix the table after her sarcastic retort. A supervisor then came down and announced that we had apparently been swearing at their staff and being aggressive, which couldn’t have been further from the truth. It was quite shocking that the accusation was levelled without even asking what had happened. Normally the staff there are incredibly friendly and it was a celebration of our friend’s birthday so this has been such a disappointing experience with this restaurant. We are now going elsewhere!

I ordered Birria tacos + 1 extra and a corn chorizo, sweetcorn and cabbage quesadilla to. The quesadilla was phenomenal and described as better than Tortilla’s😌 my Birria tacos were lovely - lots of beef and topping so worth the price tag. 4 of them were the perfect amount to be satisfied. I’ve been waiting a long time to eat from here - and I can truly say it’s worth it :) The staff too are top tier: very kind and friendly. Highly recommend coming here for those passing by!🫶🏽❤️

The cooking method and items are so inconsistent. The lamb seems like it is boiled before being grilled, Chicken wings were not up to usual standard as they weren'f marinated properly, Our intructions were ignored regarding sauces, The salad that comes with fhemixed grill was just lettuce that wasn't fresh and looked slimy One of the containers wasn't properly sealed when it arrived, Whoever cooked this order needs to look at themselves in the mirror and take more care in future!

Relaxed, rustic, local vibe, service was prompt and not invasive, best pizza in Cambridge. My wife was particularly impressed with her little pot of ragu to dip her pizza crust in - great value!

In questo locale incuriosito dalla cucina.Locale molto caratteristico, bello, pulito, con musiche in sottofondo tipiche africane rende particolare l’ambiente. C’è una grande brace in sala dove vengono cotte le pietanze.La carne che abbiamo preso pollo ,agnello , salsicce e di buona qualità riso e insalate anche.
