Quiet environment with great service. Food was good. Had the lamb chops and it was amazing. Pretty decent place for a casual hangout in the city. Prices fair. Would recommend.

We visit this place every other week when we're in Cambridge and it's always excellent. The meat pizza is brilliant and both the smash burgers and regular burgers are really good. Their grilled peri peri chicken is great too. Definitely recommend if you're looking for good halal food in Cambridge!

The food is great, the staff is very friendly too. Nazneen always gives great recommendations. I’ve been coming weekly now, the smash and chicken burgers are highly recommend.

The food option for vegetarians are great. They even took care of not adding even mayo during the preparation. Thats a really nice service. Taste was great. Hot flavour seems to tick me the most. Highly recommend.

We had the single platter (1 whole chicken + 2 sides of chips) and it was delicious. Our food came out piping hot and they’re generous with the peri sauce. The sides are a perfect size for a small family and they come sprinkled with chili powder. Then we had some Oreo cheesecake and it was delicious, really cute presentation. The prices are fair and the restaurant is clean, with friendly service!

Absolutely love The Grill Piri Piri! The chicken is always perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Their sauces are seriously mouth-watering. I could eat them with everything! Staff are super friendly and the service is always spot on. Easily one of my favorite spots!

The Cambridge Foodies ranking seems rigged because I just had the worst burger of my life. Bad bread, no salt, awful taste, overly soggy; plastic cups, an unknown soda, artificial flowers, and terrible decor. We were fooled by a ranking that lacks credibility. Don’t come. Run. In response to your comment, where I don’t see you apologizing for the very bad experience, I must say that we ate the burger because it wasn’t inedible, but you’re definitely not in the running for the 3rd best burger in Cambridge. I left about 90% of the fries, I didn’t like the soda, but I respect your offering—it’s your restaurant. I didn’t like the decor, and if you have regular customers, good for you. I wish you the best, but I wouldn’t return. The service, though friendly, took a long time to bring us the sodas and glasses, and if we hadn’t asked for napkins, they never would have given us any. I’ve had thousands of better burgers. Maybe my expectations were too high. All my best.

We travel from out of town and eat here because the food is good and service from gentlemen is good. Sadly we will not eat here again because the service of waitress is too laid back. She is on her phone when serving me. She got one order wrong and said she can not change. Her hair is in my food, on cups on water counter and all over floor. The toilet is unclean in ladies room. So she could do better with presentation and put some bleach in toilet. This would make experience better. I paid extra £4 for chicken wings to have her hair in them so was waste of money and one of our orders were wrong but we could not be bothered to complain. Last time we came her service was too casual also. And we are a group of 7 people paying each.

Delicious food, but the cleanliness needs improvement.

Was so impressed with the flavours on offer, especially the mexican half chicken i ordered. The wide range of sauces were out of this world even though you had to pay extra for them. However the service is the slowest i've ever experienced.

The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, perfect for a holiday meal. The food was exceptional – everything was cooked to perfection. A special mention goes to the chef. Even my little boy, who isn't typically fond of chicken, absolutely loved it and finished his plate! He even asked for a second portion, which speaks volumes about how tasty the food was. We highly recommend this place without hesitation. We will definitely be returning every time we are in Cambridge. Thank you for making our holiday meal so memorable – we can't wait to come back!

A Halal wide-variety menu in the heart of Cambridge. From peri-peri chicken to pizza , wraps , Halal beef smashed burgers , I tried the Peri Peri Chicken with Hummus & Pita Bread , the Special Loaded Fries and the Special Rice. The quantity and quality given for the price of food paid is very good !

Felt scammed. Banner outside the restaurant advertised a meal box for £8.99, however we were charged £11.99 for the meal box. Upon realising later that we were overcharged and upon asking the staff why, we were told that the offer was valid between 11-19th November but there was no such mention on the banner outside. We felt that this was misleading and although the food was good, we left feeling cheated.

Got the piri piri strips (hot) and rice meal for £8.49. Both were excellent. There was plenty of sauce on the strips and the rice was very flavourful. Their off-brand cola was also surprisingly good. The chicken and rice came in two plastic takeaway containers that will be great to reuse at home. The service was also very quick, it only took about 10 minutes to cook. The atmosphere inside the restaurant seemed comfortably quiet, though I wasn't in there for long.

We ordered lamb chops platter with mashed potatoes and rice as sides and two in one pizza (mastermind margarita and apline avalanche). We enjoyed the lamb chop platter! The lemon herb flavor is the best and the mild sauce. We will definitely coming back! Love it!
