The Grill Peri Peri in Cambridge

Peterborough shop is so much better! the chilli sauce is minty and menu doesn't identify any medium spice options

Got the piri piri strips (hot) and rice meal for £8.49. Both were excellent. There was plenty of sauce on the strips and the rice was very flavourful. Their off-brand cola was also surprisingly good. The chicken and rice came in two plastic takeaway containers that will be great to reuse at home. The service was also very quick, it only took about 10 minutes to cook. The atmosphere inside the restaurant seemed comfortably quiet, though I wasn't in there for long.

The Grill peri peri offers a laid-back vibe with friendly service. The burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly, and the fries were crispy. Prices are affordable, and it’s a great spot for a casual meal. I’d definitely recommend it for a quick bite.

We ordered lamb chops platter with mashed potatoes and rice as sides and two in one pizza (mastermind margarita and apline avalanche). We enjoyed the lamb chop platter! The lemon herb flavor is the best and the mild sauce. We will definitely coming back! Love it!

Sitting arrangement was good. The place was a bit dim but clean. The food was halal. It was tasty and not heavy on spices(although i would order a bit spicy next time). The gourmet beef burger and the peri peri chicken were the star of the lunch and were quite juicy . Other items were on point . The staff were friendly and treated us with respect.

Previously known as ‘The Ladz’, I have nothing but good things to say! Firstly, completely halal, and suchhhh a calming environment. You step inside, and you have the 99 names of Allah playing beautifully in the background - major props to the owner and staff! Food wise, the portions are hugeeee, and extremely well priced! And not just that, it all tastes absolutely delicious :) Highly highly highly recommended!!

I love this place always a great place and the food is always great, but I ordered the lamb chops plain ish was a little bit over cooked only if they cooked it a little less or asked how we wanted it, other than that everything else was great, would recommend and love the service they provide

Stopped over for a quick lunch on a day trip to Cambridge. What a fantastic place. Very clean, great service, extremely polite staff and fantastic food. The Algerian Smash Burger was absolutely delightful. Tried the hot wings too, which were equally good.

I eat loaded rice meal here from time to time and it is definitely worth the price as the taste is good and the portion is generous compared to other restaurants.

We had an amazing time here😃. Restaurant at its best. I have tried the wings n chicken wrap and my friend tried curly fries and biscoff milkshake..i will suggest these to anyone at anytime💯. Food was at best average. Service from one lady was cold but the other lady was very polite. The mango and lime sauce was horrid though. Tasted like a damp cloth and could barely swallow it without gagging. The lemon and herb was okay but nothing similar to the nandos style. Don't quite understand the 4.9 star rating on this restaurant which disappointed us greatly.

They have great deals! We opted for the Grill Special meal which included two smash burgers, half a chicken, wings, two sides and a 1L drinks. The burgers were our favorite part! The sauce on them complimented well with the juicy patty. Not a huge deal for others, but I also really liked the presentation of the food.

The wrap I tried was succulent and tender. However, the fries were only tolerable, not quite reaching the same level as the wrap. Nevertheless, the overall experience was great, and the service was very well!

Just went for long drive from London with family and stopped to eat here and can't get over the taste of the food it was absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable too. Would definitely recommend and rate as 5/5. Halal food.

Our experience of this establishment was really let down by the poor customer service by the young waiter with the curly hair and round glasses. He had no basic manners whatsoever. He wanted to hurry us out of the restaurant so he could pack everything up, even though there was more than an hour left till they closed. He wasn’t very helpful, and made it obvious he doesn’t want to be working there. Food was good though. Update: in reply to the dissapointing response, you must either be watching the wrong CCTV recording or you don’t know how to tell the time. We were there at 10:30pm. There was nothing courteous about your employee. He was just plain rude and disrespectful.

An absolute gem in the Heart of Cambridge, visited with Mrs, my 13 year and 2 year old daughters.. Food was prepared very quick and was Fresh. Prices are reasonable and decor is amazing. I love that the Grill Peri Peri is a halal restaurant. I am a Muslim and it's always difficult to find restaurants that serve halal food. The food was amazing and I had a great time with my family and friends. The Grill Peri Peri has really good atmosphere and the staff are friendly and polite.

In a prime location serving up a variety of top notch fast food. Decided to opt for a chicken burger with a side of fries with additional meals of half a chicken with fries and chicken wings. Supremely succulent and definite palette pleasers.

I missed a call so sadly didn’t get the option to add a flavour to my chops. It was a little bland as a result of this. This was my mistake, not the restaurant. I’d order from them again.
