Lovely little place. Staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. Food yum. Pork pibil burrito was delicious my girls had the soft tacos and mixed fillings (large was £14 for 5 enough for two kids).

Authentic Mexican food, great flavor, traditional and good atmosphere, I am left with good memories. The real Mexican food, nice flavour, traditional and good ambiance. Nice experience.

Excellent, tasty, good quality food. Quick service. Ice cold drinks, and tap water available on request. The guacamole in particular is super.

Enjoyed a wonderful early lunch here. We ordered 4 different meals and all were lovely. Food was fresh and tasty. Not the greatest selection of drinks but otherwise excellent.

I stopped in today on my way back from work, The owner is super friendly and personable. I ordered Tacos and now compared to other Mexican places in Cambridge a little more pricy but 1000% WORTH! The food smells great and tastes great! The decide of the building would make great for potential dates. 100% the best tacos I’ve had in Cambridge by a long long mile. Couldn’t recommend this place more

I would never normally give a place one star on food, service and atmosphere, but this was a really bad experience. I waited more than an hour for a burrito which was filled with just rice (very bland) and the smallest piece of chicken. I finished all of the chicken in literally one bite and it wasn’t anywhere near a mouthful. The restaurant was soo humid and stank of old overcooked mushrooms/some kind of fungus and the service as mentioned was slow. I would have forgiven this if the food wasn’t so overpriced and if they had the decency to offer a discount or additional drink for the wait. Avoid this place on Mill road

A great little local restaurant. Prices are okay. We had to repeat our order/answers a few times and it was still wrong when we got home. Was also weirded out by an insistence on paying cash and ended up paying part cash and part card… Would probably visit again if in the area, but wouldn’t go out of our way to go back.

Should have listened to the reviews … smells & tasted like a microwave chilli con carne meal. the steak was like rubber.

Really delicious food, tasty veggie option (we loved the wet burrito covered in sauce with cheese and guacamole) and the nicest staff, she even went the extra mile to make my little girl a cheese quesadilla which she loved and made us very happy customers.

I went here for lunch with my young son and the lady serving us made a real effort to make sure he was happy and well fed. The portions were very generous for the price and the quality was great. Lovely place.

Go here if you want a tortilla stuffed with rice. The most abysmal burrito I’ve had in Cambridge for £12 - you could get one with twice as much filling for half the price at Nana Mexico or Tortilla. Pictures included if you’re curious. I used to love this place, but today I went toward the end of the day, explicitly asked if they were still open, they upsold me on guacamole for £1, charged me £12 when it should have been £11. The burrito they gave me was predominantly filled with rice with very little chicken (I counted the pieces of cubic centimeters of chicken and it was less than half a standard portion) and a portion of guacamole it would be generous to refer to as a “scoop”. There were no other filings to compensate. I’m very sad because I really liked coming here and I wish they had told me that they were low on supplies….

Nice little place. If you like this type of food then give it a try. Good quality. They also offer non spicy as well as spicy. I got a chicken burrito while on my way home on my electric scooter. Was very convenient and that's so lovely!

The original 30 min wait became 1h after the driver stayed at the restaurant for over 20 min. Driver was rude, he rang the bell and kept knocking on my door, insitently.

We have waited for order for two hours and I know our food was ready for pick up after the restaurant manager telephoned me to asked if had just eat phone number because they wanted to get my order delivered on time not two hours late it's disgusting service

been looking for a decent mexican spot since arriving to the area, mr. taco is definitely on top for the best tacos around. the steak tacos are a must and the guac is to die for. excellent customer service and the atmosphere made it all the better. the prices were fair and the food was very filling. 10/10!

Mr Taco is the best Mexican place in Cambridge and one of the best Mexican food places I've ever eaten at. The pulled pork and Chilli are amazing and the home made tortilla chips and guacamole are perfect!

Good food, reasonably priced, but nothing special. The wait to get your food could be a little bit long if there are people in front of you, and it was super hot inside the day I went there.

Love that we finally have a great Taco place in Cambridge! I had the Tijuana Tacos w pulled pork meat. It certainly did not disappoint. Explosion of flavours! A nice spicy flavour that slowly creeped up but really enjoyed them. Definitely will be back for more!

already been THREE times that the Google map says it's open while it's not. The owner told me they should be open every day from noon, but sometimes I walk pass by around 12:40 and they just started getting ready. Food portion is quite small. And when there are more than three customers in the store, the wait takes FOREVER.

I do not recommend. The staff was rude and unhelpful when I showed up to pick up my takeaway that I ordered on their website. She said they never got any order. I tried showing my order number and email confirming my order but she didn’t want to hear it or see it and acted annoyed that I was even there. We left and I called the number in the email confirmation and the guy who answered said he keeps meaning to get the website taken down that I ordered from because it’s no longer in use? Very strange so he called the restaurant and told them what we ordered. We go back and they give us the complete wrong order. I took it back up and they gave us the right order but the steak on the nachos was literally ice cold as were the nachos and everything on them. Super disappointing since I read all the great reviews from this place.

For ages I've been saying that the best thing that could happen to the Cambridge food scene is a really good Mexican place, and I think this might be the answer to my prayers. Up there with the best Mexican food I've had in California. And a really nice place all round: good music, good vibes, and when you order a steak quesadilla and the chef asks you how well done you'd like that steak, you know you're at a place that's classier than the average. If you have any taste for Mexican food whatsoever, *run* don't walk to Mr Taco on Mill Road!

We love sitting in the window here enjoying a authentic, homemade Mexican meal. At the time we came, it was dad and daughter who served us and we felt right at home!

Since we went to Mr Taco for the first time, about a month ago, we are going there almost every week now. Hands down the best tacos I’ve had in England so far. Value is great too! He’s super friendly and caring. Definitely recommend to everyone! :)

nice place and fun people, but food wise there was place for improvement. I think i asked for a burrito, it was a while ago, but the ratio actual tasty ingredients vs rice was very low. filling but a bit meh. and wasn't cheap I've been at mr taco during mill rd winter festival, i hope that outside such busy moments food is actually more balanced

I had given up hope of finding really good Mexican food like this after 12 years in this country. Truly perfect in every way, the smells, flavours and dishes on offer are all spot on and it was incredibly tasty, as well as quick and friendly. Will be back as often as possible!!!

We really loved the taco's, and had a good conversation with the owner (?) about preparing cactus tacos. Can't wait to come back and try the others. I'm not aware of better tacos in Cambridge. We came early in the evening and it was a bit quiet, so hard to comment on atmosphere

Great tacos, we got the chicken (halal) in corn tortillas and some guacamole with chips ! Would definitely recommend Mr Taco himself was helpful with the menu selection, very friendly and there was also some darts to play while we wait !

First time eating at Mr Taco's after hearing countless recommendations from friends and I wasn't disappointed! Really great flavours, fresh ingredients and huge portion sizes. You can really tell that the food is made with a lot of love (the salsa and guacamole is made fresh each day) and we got chatting to the owner who is super passionate and talented when it comes to all things Mexican cuisine. Really recommend this place for a great value experience and I'll definitely be coming back as a regular to try everything on the menu.
