Very disappointed, the 4 of us were there for a Birthday celebration. Despite my colleague booking the table in advance (12.30 to 14.30) we had to wait to be seated. It took another 20 minutes for our food to arrive & then we were asked to move tables at 14.00 because someone else had booked our table. To add insult to injury we were then asked to move again (for the same reason) at 14.20! We were informed we would be given a discount but when we approached the check out, the manager had other ideas & tried to fob us off with extra cakes. We finally received a 10% discount, which amounted to ten pounds between the 4 of us. Not an enjoyable experience & not good business practice. We will not be returning.

Unfortunately we were surrounded by dogs and Iâm allergic. Think there should be a separate area for animals. Ordered the battered fish baguette and chips to be served breaded fish finger baguette with fries. Menu doesnât state the correct thing. If it said fish fingers I wouldnât have ordered it. Also long wait to be served when was told we were first to order so would be quick.

Firstly the 2 star EHO sticker in the window is somewhat concerning, however the fact on the EHO website it is marked with a 1 star is confusing! The food is consistently inconsistent. Some visits is OK others not. Generally the restaurant and toilets need some attention to detail regarding cleanliness and the staff although polite, struggle to communicate effectively. Its a shame really as Newtown struggles for decent restaurants. I would need to see at least 3 stars for me to visit again.

The Reedcutters was the mid point on our walk while holidaying in Norfolk. We had a warm welcome and a substantial lunch, good old fashioned pub grub. No complaints at all, it's a 'what you see is what you get' kind of pub, nothing fancy but friendly, clean and good value đ

Super friendly staff, never had an order wrong. Food is good, sweet and sour balls are great, beef in black beans also is good along with chow mein. Curries can be a bit hit or miss often not as thick as I'd like it.. One thing I would say is all the food has a lot of onion in it, stir fry veg also had a lot of onion, there is no broccoli which surprised me especially living next to fruit and vegetables shop. Overall very good but food is slightly dated Chinese menu with a lot of onion in pretty much all dishes Ive tried bar chow miens.

Popped in for lunch after our excellent boat trip on Liana next door. Clean & welcoming with super fast service. We both had the leak & potato soup. Piping hot, perfect consistency with bite size lumps of potato plus strips of leak. It needed absolutely no seasoning, a superb taste, with bread & butter. We agreed probably the best weâve ever had! Many thanks!!

A great find, while looking on Google Maps, to find somewhere for breakfast on our way to a nearby aviation museum. Where we had been staying doesn't do breakfast, and so we needed somewhere nearby to eat. This cafe is great, very popular, and it was obvious why. The menu was great, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly. Will definitely choose to eat here again when next up in Nofolk

Visited when staying near by over the Easter bank holiday weekend. Welcoming atmosphere with good quality traditional pub food, nice selection of drinks, friendly and attentive service from the whole team even though it was busy. Pies are a must try! We will be back when next in the area.
