The best restaurants in Basildon East of England

Arrived over an hour late with no apology or refund. Food was cold, seemed to have been kept under warm counter whilst i waited. Food was subpar, not authentic chip shop standard. Salt and vinegar delivered in sachets and the chips were dry.

Amazing pizza. Ordered thin slice and the chips/ wedges were great. Customer service is very good , ensuring my food collected was hot and lovely. Thank you 👍

Friendly atmosphere and efficient service. Very busy outlet, so it’s important to be patient. They are working as fast as the can !

Stopped off here with my dog as my wife was visiting her dad I Basildon hospital. The service I got was amazing all staff were so extremely helpful, I cannot thank all of them for such an amazing visit.

Waited 1.5 hrs for delivery to arrive through just eat, they forgot my drink 6 small pcs of chicken in my korma, poppodum was broken in half and was wafer thin, won’t bother ordering here in future

They closing at 5 o'clock. But you can not order just panini or toast after 3:30! It was take away , okay I understand Tesco cafe like "restaurant" but please take away as well important. Staff very friendly and kind!

Rubbish food compared with others. 4 of us are here today. The guy behind the bar was excellent and the food was out quick but.. Mains served before starters cleared. Garlic bread stale and inedible Korean chicken burger was shocking. Tiny slaw in burger, bun split apart and whilst it was sticky, it was tasteless. Totally different to the Korean burger at the Junction in Upminster which is also GK and is incredible. So disappointed

Visited for the first time on Saturday. I am a wheelchair user so used the lift. We used the app to order although you can order at the counter. Food arrived fairly quickly and couldn't fault it. We had waffles and they were lovely. Staff friendly too. Looking forward to going again.

Tbh this place doesn't deserve any stars at all the food was a greasy the chicken balls were stodgy the beef in the special fried rice was so chewy even the dog struggled never again would I waste my money ordering from this place again I feel sick as a pig from the grease literally ate about a quarter of meal.disgusted best bit about the hole meal was the friendly driver who wasn't even from the shop disgusting

Worst Chinese ever had ordered 1/4 duck we got the bones and fat and a little meat for 1 pancake ! Cost £10! Prawn fried rice tasted very plain the king pi sauce was like the Chinese sweet chilli sauce out of the bottle! Sorry but the wan ying house beet it hands down 👇
