The best restaurants in Basildon East of England

all great except you forgot our 3 poppadoms!

Our order arrived over an hour late. We received no apology when we called to ask what had happened to our meals but we're told he had just left. When it arrived it was all tepid, obviously had been left on a hot plate as the bottom of the containers were hot but the food was barely warm. The sauce sent with the tikka was cold and one dish was missing. It took another quarter of an hour for the missing rice to arrive. Some poppadoms were added as some form of an apology. Just really poorly service all round. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

delicious, tasty, fresh, hot, 100% recommend. Get their chilli to dip your pizza crusts in! love it!

Waited over three hours just to be told that my order was lost.. always been happy with the service from ricefields, but the food and service is now appalling..

Nice Costa, always busy and the service is always slow in comparison to other branches. That said the staff are very friendly and always helpful. Food and drinks always good quality, hot and fresh

can't complain about the food in general but clearly stated in the notes we asked for sachets for salt amd vinegar and they was missing.

Worst Costa I’ve ever been to. Painfully slow! Staff chatting and moaning to each other instead of serving. The guy who made my coffee didn’t call my order out, and just let it sit there until I asked if it was mine. They all need retraining! Dive of a place.

Staff are very friendly in there. Quick service. Would highly recommend the vegan breakfast!

Terrible! Took almost 2hrs to arrive. Food was cold also forgot my drink, I only live around 10min drive from the place, & the poppodoms looked like somthing stripped off wallpaper and tasted disgusting!

Every thing was fine apart from the fact that the 1.5ltr fizzy was missing

Absolutely shocking that they delivered food like this. Pizza topping didn't even go to the edge of the pizza, covered in oil and stone cold. Garlic bread with cheese, again stone cold and just like rubber and hollumi sticks were overcooked, cold and again like rubber. I will never eat from this place ever again and I do not recommend. Disgusting food

You need to make your chocolate milkshakes more chocolatey now one star not happy

No Fish, No Jacket Potatoes, Tables not wiped, The ladies Toliet were DEGUSTING. Would not recommend to anybody and will not be returning.
