Food delicious. Only gripe; the lamb in one of the dishes we ordered was very tough. However, the food was full of flavour and would order from them again.

The worst take away experience ever. 1hr severely late and food was cold, soggy and taste was awful. Even calling the restaurant the person picking up phone didnt know english and just cut me of. The lamb was like hard chewing gum with no taste.

Overall amazing delicious food and excellent customer service. The owners are very attentive and welcoming. We always order spicy food and we had the nagrai curries which were catered to our spice level. Starters were grilled fresh from the tandoor and were delicious. Highly recommend this place if you are local to the area.

Over an hour late and also ordered and paid for extra mango and mint chutney and only received one, this has happened over 6 times so not happy with the service

Well, Wickford Tandoori here’s the review you told me to post after I called to complain about the 2 hour wait for food on Valentine’s evening after being originally told it would be 45 minutes.. After an hour and a half we called to chase up and was told our food was still in the kitchen as they had no delivery drivers. Why keep taking orders for deliveries when you can’t deliver it? Surely just state collection only! Whoever took our call was so rude and simply didn’t care, just told us that whoever we ordered from tonight it would have been the same delays and if we weren’t happy, then post a review. So here you are. Oh and the food was shocking, 3 chunks of lamb in my husbands lamb madras. We have been regular and loyal customers and love to support local businesses. Never again. Happy Valentine’s Day

Good quality food but I would’ve expected for these prices. very expensive compared to any other Indian I’ve used. If it wasn’t for the discount offered tonight I wouldn’t have chose this Indian because the price is off putting.

Excellent meal ordered on New Year’s Eve, I was expecting some disruption but there was none and the quality of food was fantastic. Will definitely be ordering from there again.

First time ordering from here. Food was delicious, good amount of chicken and lamb in our curries, lots of meat in the keema rice and garlic naans were light and fluffy. Would recommend and will be back for more.

It was so tasty. Just moved to area, tried a few now but this is by far the best.

Just really poor. Chicken was over cooked. Madras was so mild and tasteless. And delivery took ages. Said it was delivered 20 minutes before it actually was and no contact from the restaurant, even though I requested it. Just really poor.

I am not happy with this order at all. It arrived 15-20 minutes later than the original time that it would come by. The food wasn’t warm when opened and we paid for a portion of chips to receive about 20 chips was in the bag. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Rude people don’t bother using them! took hour and half to deliver on a 30min wait time on the food when I phoned to speak with them the guy was rude food was cold just awful.

I ordered grilled chicken wings and lamb chops but unfortunately, it wasn't well-cooked there was blood in the wings. I usually loved to ordered food from this resturant but I was disappointed tonight.

Onion bahiji was swimming in fat and cold so was butter chicken and tikka masala was toughest chicken I’ve ever had and was cold

The food itself was really good, a great variety of different curries and sides. We ordered for 9 people and every person loved their dish, couldn't fault it. Considering we ordered for 9 people the food was delivered slightly earlier than expected (which was great as we ordered later than we should have!) I would thoroughly recommend ordering, you won't be disappointed.

Forgot all sauces for poppadoms

Wonderful curry again, piping hot, really tasty, wife is always hit or miss with Pathia , she loved it. Could not fault any part of it … keep up the great work 👍🏻

After trying a few places in Basildon and Pitsea, this places popped up. Unbelievable , what a fantastic curry, felt like I had gone back in time to when curries were great, Arrived hot, was really tasty, will be using these guys again …. Couldn’t fault . Kids had their Dansak and was perfect .

Food we got was really good and really tasty. Missing popadams so the sauces I ordered were not used. Ordered a can of drink but sent the wrong one so am out of pocket £10 in total but what we did get was great.

Biryani was quite dry, including the curry

Ordered food never arrived, called and asked the restaurant, the staff member became verbally abusive down the phone then ended the call.

The food is really nice can't complain but 2 reasons I gave 3 star is because I ordered Biryani and asked to change Biryani Saurce for Taka Dhal and I was charged extra £3 every other takeaway don't even charge. Secondly no salad with the food like every other takeaway give as normal.

Superb food….always delicious. Can recommend the Chicken Madras and the Mushroom Bhajee. Delivered hot and on time. Great service.

I ordered the food just before 7. It arrived 9.15. Had to phone to find out out where it was and it then arrived 20 mins later with some of the order being wrong. Tried to phone to report this but no answer. What was delivered was really nice and can’t fault at all but the delivery time and getting the order right was very very poor especially as it wasn’t a big order. It was a meal for 2

Veguanary is a tough time for all us meat lovers, but this restaurant makes it worth the while delicious food and quick service.

Meat was dry and tough. Naan bread was burnt

The meal was the worst ever had from a local takeaway. Its Friday night and we didn't want to cook but on review I wish we had! The food delivered was cold. Chips were soggy, rice was overcooked, chicken was dry, was missing sauces and chutneys - shall I go on? I ended up having to do a quick salad for myself, cut the chicken up and put it on it, and microwaved some chips of my own!! All in all, I'm now pretty fed up as for the money, it's left a sour taste!! Takeaways are not a regular thing because of their cost and this was disgusting for the money! I did speak to the shop who wanted me to bag the meal back up and they would cook us another or give money back but only if we returned this meal!! My husband, by this point, had already put his in the microwave and picked from it what he could and also, at gone 8pm on a Friday night, we weren't waiting another hour for our dinner!

The restaurant delayed my order initially, then was late past the later delivery time given (1950) didn’t receive until 20:05 and food was no longer hot. I also don’t agree with paying £5 for delivery from an SS118 postcode to an SS117 address! Tried to call the restaurant whilst awaiting delivery but no answer.

Popadoms missing and food was cold. Disappointed really as I have ordered from here a few times and food has always been hot, on time and super tasty…

Delivered late & missing items, but what did turn up was warm & and tasty.

Asked for delivery 10pm for a reason and they was at my door 35 minutes early, lucky I got home when delivery come! Food was rushed nann bread was floppy undercooked the meal was bland too.. I was a regular customer. They don’t care longs they get ££££
