Pink Chilliz in Basildon

As an Indian person I can say the food is made to cater to locals taste - not authentic Indian food. Overall it’s ‘okay’ - expensive for what it is. The service is exceptional however. The starters were nice it was more so the curries / mains that weren’t all that.

Used them for a delivered takeaway tonight for the first time. Amazing food, best home delivered naan ever, fast delivery, they said 40 minutes it was 30, I've never had food delivered as hot. It was as hot as if it was served straight from the kitchen to a table in house. Will definitely be our new favourite Indian. Well done 5*****

Shame no one reads what you want. Another dinner ruined because I asked for a dansak sauce instead of a veg curry, guess what I got. Yep, veg curry. 2nd chance for this place messed it up within 4 orders. Won't be a 3rd. Owner a lovely fella but that doesn't help when you get food you don't want. Slow it up and be the best, you have the food, most of the time.

For me the food was very tasty. Came very hot, and taste fresh. The portion size is really good, and this is the second time ordering from here. No complaints.

I ordered a take away Sunday 25-05-25 as not had an Indian for a while, the last one I had from here was very good so was shocked to find this was tasteless and overly salty with very hard over done Onion Bhaji's, We did not eat too much before we had enough and threw it away. total waste of £30.00 and I will never return.

stopped by unexpectedly after a day out with family Great venue, free easy parking Great staff, speak fluent English and knowledgeable about menu.. Great food, fresh and full of flavour, and large portion size.

Really good food I heard if you call them up and ask for a Shirley special they will add a free portion of chips and a big bottle of fizzy to your order. I thought someone was pulling my leg but I tried anyway and it actually worked!!!

Quality off food is always on point always comes freshly done delivery time is always on time aswell or sometimes early

Honestly have to say this is the best Indian I have ever tasted and I’ve had many can not fault in anyway don’t waste your time going anywhere else did not have to wait long for the delivery at all and was piping hot definitely will be ordering again

unfortunately one item was missing from our order. didn't like the lamp biryani at all, too much oilly. keema rice was ok. not recommended

Ordered a Madrass and I get Bhuna

jalfrazi was amazing as always. my fiancé said his keema naan was lacking in meat this time around. however the rest of the meal was really good and was delivered pipping hot.

Despite ordering early and putting in a delivery time order was over an hour late. Received notification it was on the way an hour before it arrived. Despite that food was ok but a bit cold

Was an item missing, was told I will get it free on my next order?? Imagine you ordering a meal and it’s ruined due to short order, BUT don’t worry you can have it next time?? Laughable and I shall order with others in the future tbh..

We have not received our order but the restaurant has informed Just Eat we have received it. We have tried calling the restaurant 107 time and we get the engaged tone. The restaurant has now said it has been delivered and has informed us that they are busy. Will on the phone food has turned up and it’s cold

item missing, onion barges rock hard and the curry and rice cold. overall not happy

There was plenty of it and we did eat it. But hated the taste and the smell. Greasy tasted stale. The chicken tikka was too chewy just nasty. Also ordered nuggets and chips the nuggets were over cooked and over breaded lumps. Kids couldn’t eat them. Definitely won’t be going there again.

Food was OK but had better also had worse.Could have had more taste.All the food was nice and hot when delivered and driver very polite.The real test is how good there madras curry is and will it make my taste buds tingle.Untill next time...well done

HI, I don't normally complain after haveing a curry from anywere but I feel I have to now. On Wednesday night 18th September 2024 We sat down to enjoy a curry from the pink chilliz. I Had a chicken tikka korai and my partner had a chicken korma. This morning we had the most worse upset stomachs.ive never spent so much time on the toilet.Infact I was frightened to koff just incase I had an accident. I've used many Indian takeaways and never had such an experience like this. I'm in so much discomfort from your food I'm sitting on ice packs right now. Thank you from an uncomfortable customer Tony

I haven't used this restaurant before. The food arrived on time and piping hot. All of the food I ordered was delicious and the onion bhaji were the best I've had for a long time, Would recommend, I wiil definitely be using again.

The somosas was nice, the lamb rogan could have been a bit more seasoned and the lamb could have been a little bit more tender. Pilal rice was okay. The nan bread was nice but couldn’t taste much of the garlic. Overall decent food but not amazing.

The most delicious Chicken Tikka Massala I've ever had as a 57 year old. Flavoursome creamy and asked for madras strength. gorgeous Cheers guys my new regular dish.

Really dissapointing. My tandori chicken was cold, the breast meat foul. My naan bread was old and stale. I have come to Pink Chilliz as was dissapointed by the falling standard of my previous Indian but there has been no care used here. When will restaurants understand that I'd rather wait for fresh!

had to have an Indian from another restaurant on Wednesday. absolutely not worth it. You wasn't taking orders so I tried another restaurant. I through 70% of it in the bin. tonight was absolutely the best I've had. I will have a Chinese if you are closed. never will I try anywhere else. Still the BEST

The food from here is normal good. Last night order was very disappointing. The food was barely warm. the king prawn butterfly was over cooked and really hard to eat and whilst trying to eat it, I actually broke my tooth... no joke. The was some kind of mess up and the app said thr food had been delivered but we had not received. Summary the food was delivered late, barely warm and over cooked.

Started another year with GREAT FOOD cheers

About 5 minutes late which is forgivable, but was cold. Unfortunately the vegetable curry was not included with the biriyani either which made for a meagre meal. It took 1h and 5minutes to come so wasn't worth calling about. Small portions.

1st Indian of the year and was as delicious as last year. (2 days ago). Cheers guys. See yuu on Saturday
