Pizza Hut Delivery in Basildon

Absolutely shocking that they delivered food like this. Pizza topping didn't even go to the edge of the pizza, covered in oil and stone cold. Garlic bread with cheese, again stone cold and just like rubber and hollumi sticks were overcooked, cold and again like rubber. I will never eat from this place ever again and I do not recommend. Disgusting food

The staff are friendly and always ready to help, making the ordering process smooth and pleasant.

Great taste, comfortable environment and friendly staff... I truly love this place. Would recommend to visit atleast once a week...

When ever I order from these the order is wrong once a pizza turned up witha slice missing and they refused to refund me, another they subbed food they didn't have available with others they are a joke

The food from here is disgusting! Dry, undercooked and cold. Dont order from here i dont know if all pizza huts are this bad now but if ita just this location it needs closing down. As for the customer service offering a £10 voucher is laughable for a terrible meal costing £50. What good is a voucher for somewhere yoy never want to eat again.

Really bad - chicken was terribly undercooked, pizza had a hair in it and wrong flavoured ice creams were delivered with no warning and no option to send back/be refunded because we didn't like the flavour. When complaint made to customer services, they dismissed all complaints except about the chicken, because it was the only thing we had thought to take a picture of. Terrible food and customer service!

Was half hour late, so I phoned up. They told me they was waiting for the deliveroo driver but was going to remake my food. They clearly didn’t as good was cold when it arrived.

Food is shocking lately. Delivery is never on time and the last 3 times I've ordered, it's either the wrong order or cold when delivered. Given up ringing so they can rectify now, it never gets better. Won't order again.

Appalling service, order incorrect when phoned to ask for it to be rectified manager was rude and unhelpful. Ordered 1 small medium pizza and a half and half deep pan. Delivered 1 medium pizza and the half and half deep pan was delivered as 2 medium classic crusts. First phone call was told they would re-deliver the pan pizza but make sure I kept the mediums to return. (No problem as I don’t like classic crust hence why ordered large Pan) Manager calls back and says I ordered wrong so they won’t be correcting it……. Thanks Pizza Hit wickford, wish I had read the poor reviews and seen the 2* trip advisor review before I had ordered!!!!

Absolutely Terrible. Waited 9 hours and it didn’t come. My child starved to death and it now on the floor. I think he is dead. My nan started to dance down the stairs she was so hungry. The staff on the phone are atrocious. My wife called up to order and she ended up having a seizure the staff were so rude. Two of my other kids started banging their head in the cupboard doors because they were so hungry. I would like a £10,000,000 voucher due to this eventful night.

Callum is one of the nicest people you could ever meet he goes out of his way to make sure all the order is correct that the customer gets what they want what they ask for he is a credit to the team and I just can’t thank him enough for all what he does. Such a wonderful guy. So thank you 😊

Ordered 3 cookie dough’s which should have turned up with 3 ice cream pots, the guy that delivered them said to phone the manager about it and he’ll sort something out, I phoned then and spoke to the manager and he was very evasive about the matter saying that there only subject to availability, I then stated he should change the website to notify customers that the ice cream wasn’t available and he said the website was run by a different company and wasn’t able to do so. He didn’t bother to offer anything for the poor service or even apologise. And will continue to charge full price and serve half a desert! Terrible service! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Placed an order online and 610, realsied one of the topping was incorrect and called at 612 to correct. Was told its too late as changes need to be made within 3 minutes.... Manager tonight extremely unhelpful and hung up when question why he couldn't change the order withing the time frame

Called immediately after ordering to change the base from tomato to BBQ to be told it’s not possible. The website and the two people I’ve spoken to in customer service have said they should have changed this for me. Instead a rude manager who cancelled the order but could not issue a refund. Had to contact customer services for this to be issued when everyone has said they could have just changed the base.

Order from here all the time using the online app and pre chosen time slot. Accurate delivery times, food is always hot. Tonight we placed a big order and something went wrong with one of the toppings and a side being missed. I phoned and spoke to someone who was instantly apologetic and offered to get a fresh pizza out to us and the missing side. It was here within 15 mins. A most apologetic delivery driver who then without me even complaining ran back to the car and grabbed us a free tub of cookies and cream ice cream. Couldn't have been happier with the customer service we received.

We ordered for the first time last night, got a great deal, the food arrived in less than 20 minutes from ordering online and was piping hot, looked amazing and the taste was amazing. Definitely recommend the buffalo chicken pizza

Horrible service from the manager Callum at Wickford Pizza Hut tonight! As usual we ordered Pizza Hut delivery from Wickford for a family treat.. paid online £28.. gained pizza slice award.. and had confirmation it would be around 30-40 min. We then had a call from ‘Callam’ saying as they were busy they would be delivering to us? I questioned why? He said he had called this property before to explain that they don’t deliver here??? (Online automatically brings our postcode up) I said we had never had that conversation and that we have had regular delivery’s.. including a few days ago. The line then went dead... we called back and he accused us of hanging up on him !!! We told him the bank had taken our money and that we didn’t mind a longer wait if that was the issue! He was extremely patronising and told us to speak to customer service.. we said AGAIN we didn’t mind waiting as the bank had taken our money already.. he then hung up!!! As a retail support manager to 26 stores I have found this service horrendous. No goodwill, no sympathy and absolute no people skills..they take our money when it suits them..and tonight they took our money and decline service in a patronising way, we now have to spend tomorrow chasing a refund as they are uncontactable tonight. This loyal customer will never go back!

Ordered an Italian thin and crispy but got a thick doey based pizza that was totally over cooked and definitely over priced for what it was, will not be using them again

Use them all the time . Waited over a haur and 30mins for pizza rang them . They said not to take no notice of web page as they are a franchise . So kids fell asleep with no pizza . When it did turn up it was soggie.

Amazing pizza came nice and hot upon arrival. Only downside was the waiting time of having to wait 45 minutes to an hour, apart from time would highly recommend! 👍🏻

Don't even think about using this vile place, unless you too want vomiting, stomach cramps, explosive diarrhea and a day off work. 48hrs on and I still feel rough, don't think I'll ever eat pizza again. Hate to think what their hygiene practices are like - non-existent is my best guess.
