Lovely Cake and coffee. My family and I have been coming here for years and Love the food and the staff . We have always found them helpful and professional. Our food has always been on time and super delicious -they make some amazing cakes!

We’ve been here a few times and always had really nice food and friendly service at great prices. All the food we’ve ordered has been really good, but the chips are absolutely lovely, I can’t remember ever having better. Update: Not ordered from here in a few months as moved further away, but went back and the food is just as good. Delicious chips, fish, pie, sausage and onion rings.

Attended one of their Christmas party nights (16th Dec’23) with an our Classic Cargroup of 40+ . The food and service were excellent and everyone had a very enjoyable evening.

Great toasted sandwich, lovely staff & a nice location

Brilliant tearoom with fantastic breakfast and lunch options. Highly recommend for families, friends or solo! The manager is highly attentive and friendly welcome, and the staff were happy and smiley. The afternoon tea looked wonderful and our lunch was delicious!

We had a great 2 night stay here for a wedding locally. Staff were friendly and very accomodating. Food DELICIOUS, rooms very nice. Hope to return very soon. Special thanks to Freddie who is a great asset to the team here, sorry we didn't get chance to say goodbye on the Saturday! Keep dancing Freddie!

Just a day trip to use Spa for a couple of hours. Bliss!

Stayed here for one night, beautiful room with lots of nice little touches. Complimentary breakfast was super tasty and everybody was really friendly, would come again.

Amazing food, superb service and lovely atmosphere. My partner and I regularly go in for lunch, this is a real gem of Colchester.

Went for Sunday roast. Had the turkey and the very best apple pie with custard. Really enjoyed it. Plenty of everything. Good service with a smile. Good value for money. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

Excellent pub food,good size portions cooked well ,we were a group of five and all meals and drinks were served promptly and politely,could not fault the service or the food

Came here a few times when on holiday. Had croissants, sausage rolls, sourdough bread, baguettes and cinnamon swirls. All amazing! Always a queue but worth the wait
