The best restaurants in East of England

We were delighted with this place, it is small inside there are tables outside they even provide blankets, the breakfast was amazing my husband had the big breakfast and I had the mini breakfast it was absolutely gorgeous, lovely and hot. It was our wedding anniversary so we celebrated it with a wonderful cooked breakfast and we even bought some gorgeous cakes home with us the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend this place.

Had a meal here new years eve. Clean and tidy . Had hot dog with chips , meal size was massive, hot dog in a home made bread roll was out of this world , chocolate fudge cake was delicious. Hot food , quick service, exceptional food , tasty and plentiful , thick shakes are to die for . Anybody visiting haverhill really needs to experience this diner . 10 out of 10 will definately be going back .

Today we had the most delicious Christmas lunch in a beautiful restaurant with the loveliest of staff serving us. What a treat!! We didn’t want to leave… we highly recommend The Earsham Street Cafe!!

Food was great as always, the sharing platters were a great choice for us. Front of house very attentive and friendly. Made it a great experience and we all had good fun.

A group of us went to the Warwick Arms for Christmas lunch on Thursday 19th of December. The table was decorated really beautifully and the food was excellently i’m not too expensive.

Always very high standard of food. Staffs are very friendly and child friendly. Try their specials, always a nice surprise. Recently i had the scallop as starter and mixed clams linguine from special menu. It was absolutely divine.

Have visited the Bedford lodge before. Went for a Christmas party night. Food was absolutely terrible. Starter was ok, main Christmas dinner - vegetables rock hard (more than al dente)potatoes tasted horrible. Cheese and crackers for dessert, crackers were soft. Very disappointed.

Superb service over multiple visits. Very professional & friendly staff with great attention to detail on sometimes sizeable orders. Always very clean & welcoming even at busy times.

Had a friendly welcome when we went in which is nice. I had the grilled pork chop which was tough, 🙁the mash and veggies were lovely. My coke was quite flat and tasteless and not chilled enough, from a pump I'm guessing. A glass of cheap apple juice for £2.20 was a bit of a rip off in my opinion. The apple pie and custard were nice.

Absolutely fantastic café. Amazing quality food for really reasonable prices. Always so impressed by the food there.

We had our intimate wedding at Priory House in August 2023, and it was incredible. The staff were amazing, and so very helpful. They really pulled off our perfect day - thank you! The grounds itself are absolutely beautiful and made for some amazing photos. The room we had our ceremony in was perfect. Could not recommend Priory House enough for a local intimate wedding!!!

A Roasting Good Time This little pub is a hidden gem. Their roast dinner is the stuff of legends. The meat is cooked to perfection, the veggies are spot on, and the Yorkshire pudding is fluffy and golden. The gravy? Divine. If you're a fan of a good roast, this is the place to be.

I went into David's earlier today and had a sandwich. A Reggie's Melt off the menu. It was delicious but also the most memorable flavour. If you want a treat get yourself one of these!
