We have visited this family run restaurant a few times and it never fails to impress. From the warm welcome upon arrival from Enrico Jr and Sabrina, the attentive service and mouth watering food that leaves you wanting for more. There is nothing more to add. We will definitely be booking again soon …

For a set price you get three exceptional courses. The price we paid was £49.50 per person. The host Peter is a warm friendly person. Ideal for front of house. His wife is the chef. After an appariteth we were shown to our table. My wife and I both had prawns as the starter. They were huge and very meaty. Next we had chateaux briand for two. The meat was excellent. Finally my wife had two sweets from the sweet trolley both excellent. I had crumbly stilton and biscuits. My wife liked white wine and I prefer red, so Peter opened a bottle of each and we only paid for the amount we had drunk. A nice touch. On the down side the restaurant is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Also as it is very popular, when full it is quiet noisy but don't let that put you off a fabulous restaurant.

The old punch bowl is the place to be at the week days and weekends, the selection of gins is a huge success. They offer great food at a reasonable price and worth your money, the team behind the bar are always helpful. They have a very good sized garden to enjoy a beer in the sun.

We can't say anything about the pub - unfortunately it was fully booked that evening. The two motorhome parking spaces are in the pub car park. Sanitary facilities are rather simple, but clean and the warm water works too. However, there is no disposal option for gray water or chemical toilets. It's quiet at night. Fine for an overnight stay before or after the ferry.

Really liked this small hotel with its own bar and restaurant. Little garden if you fancy a drink outside. A nearby park which is both beautiful and historic takes you through to Kings Lynne Town centre with it's abundance of pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants.

We popped in not knowing if we would eat in or takeaway as didn’t know what to expect. With three children we felt like the vibe probably wasn’t right for what we wanted but decided to grab 4 cakes to take away. The lady serving us (possibly the owner) was very knowledgeable about what contained dairy, she was very kind and friendly. We ordered carrot cake, Rookie (cross between brownie and cookie) millionaires shortbread and a walnut and chocolate brownie (dairy free) which came to £19.55 the quality was very good and the cakes were delicious. I will definitely return and would recommend it for couples and cosy catch up lunches with friends.

Lovely pub, friendly staff and delicious food. Steak and ale pie very popular and the beefburger was superb. Tasty chips
