The best restaurants in East of England

Food is OK. If you can spare an hour waiting for Katsu chicken with rice only, and another dish has no sign of coming. My next table said they have waited for two hours but still waiting for the last order. Poor family of four the kids keep saying they are hungry.

Just ordered through food hub. Only delivered £10 worth of a £50 order. We called to sort it, listened to the owner argue with his staff for 5 minutes, then he shouted at my husband on the phone and argued and hung up on us! Absolutely ridiculous service and would avoid avoid avoid!

Lovely friendly little place with really yummy vegan options. I had the breakfast and it was top notch.

Placed large order for delivery Christmas Eve, food was on time but the large cod was more than disappointing. It was the tail end, thin with very little fish, just a mouthful of crisp batter and skin. Chips were not that great either. Overall very disappointing.

We had Sunday lunch today at The Red Lion and it was excellent. Our table was booked for 8 but due to stormy weather and illness, we changed the booking to just 4 people. Nevertheless the owners were very accommodating and friendly and gave us an excellent time, friendly fast service and wonderful home-cooked wholesome food. We highly recommend this charming pub and hope to visit again soon.

Really lovely little cafe with wonderful staff, we stopped in for a quick lunch on a weekend. The cafe has a great atmosphere, and the two ladies that served us were very friendly and gave ‘that bit extra’ which really feels like they go above and beyond to look after their customers. Food was delicious and came out promptly. I have just knocked off a star as the menu is quite meat heavy (there is a lot of sausage and bacon) and I would have like to have seen more vegetarian options, like a veggie breakfast for example.

Kids love it, good bit of scran.

Excellent place to break your walk with a hot drink and a cake (chocolate brownie is my personal favourite). The staff are very friendly. I love this place🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️☕🍩🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️👍
