Fusion Bites in Tendring

Although more like a cafe than a restaurant this unexpected find in Clacton was a joy. Great Onion Baji and Chicken Biryani.

Best dosa I've had in ages! Very authentic South Indian cooking, staff were really friendly and the service was quick. I will be back to try more things on the menu.

Me and my friend visited tonight and ordered 2 chicken dum biryani and we must admit it was delicious and we really enjoyed our meal. Also we had masala tea which was quite nice aswell. We live local and will definitely visit here regularly to try some more dishes from the menu.

The food was overall quite tasty. The only problems were the masala chai which was incredibly tiny and still quite pricey, and the incredibly greasy poppadoms. The service was incredibly slow and we got the chai after all the other food, we had to get another drink while we waited. The thing is, there was no one else there. It felt dangerously cluttered and messy, to the point where it could seriously jeopardise any chance of a decent hygiene rating. The place is awaiting hygiene ratings but I suspect it will get a 3 or below. There was obstructing clutter towards the toilets and the front of the house was quite cluttered too. There was also a random old stove next to one of the tables. It did not feel appetising or clean and eating here felt worrying because of the dangerous clutter and mess. The kitchen did not look particularly unsanitary however. It's not a very nice atmosphere to sit amongst this. The staff were quite friendly though.

I had a delicious meal here after visiting and asking for a recommendation. I had a mutton curry with a mango Lassi that both were very flavourful, and each of the three gentlemen in the restaurant were very welcoming and attentive whilst I was there. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Absolutely delicious I was very satisfied, really fresh food and NOT greasy like other takeaways. Beautiful food and very polite staf lf members on the phone. Will 100% order again. I showed all my friends the food and they liked it too.

I had chicken dosa , masala dosa it was really stunning after long time I had perfect Indian dosa ,staff is very friendly I love the food.

I haven't experienced true South Indian cuisine until I visited Fusion Bites. When I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed and was very impressed with the service. I highly recommend any of the dosa's, they all tasted incredible. My favourite was the masala dosa. I also had the onion and mushrooms bhaji, which were cooked to perfection. The chicken biryani is one of the best I've ever had! Thank you for a great experience and I look forward to coming back again soon.

We ordered a selection of food including the dosa and biryani. Each dish was freshly cooked to order and was very tasty with authentic flavours. The staff were friendly and gave excellent service. I would reccomend this place and would come back again. 5☆

Really authentic indian food and excellent staff & service and even went out of their way by taking orders after their closing time. We had Dosa's, uttapam and briyani and all three we scrumptious, will visit them again soon...

It’s was so awesome and Fantastic taste and also the staff are very friendly…Each and every one have to be try this when you go for that location and I think this is the best place to eat and to try yhe taste of India on that location…..

A great find. Only been open about a week. South Indian vegetarian dosa, as good as the ones on Drummond Street by Euston Station.
