The best, most authentic pizza I have had in the UK! Family run business and delicious pizza - couldn’t recommend more & will be back!

Simply put, the best traditional Italian pizza I had in the UK. My whole family just loved their pizzas, chips were nice and chunky and tasted amazing. Will definitely go back every time we visit Holland on sea. Next time we will try their focaccias, caprese salad and Italian green olives, I am sure they'll be just as tasty as their pizzas. The owner and the staff were very friendly, polite and so helpful with a personal issue I run into while there Thank you again! And see you next time. Tiziana

Orlando provides the very best authentic Italian pizza in the land! Have done for several years. Normally have a faluso pizza every third weekend, and it has always been top quality every time. Nice friendly service and timing is always very reasonable. We are very lucky to have Faluso in Holland.

Just stopped in for the first time after googling pizza in Clacton, really pleased I found this little gem. Staff were welcoming and friendly, you can see your food being prepared, price was great and most importantly the pizza was excellent. Will be back.

Lovely family run business The owner Orlando comes from Sorrento, near Naples, so you know he’ll make you the best pizza ever! Which he did. Lisa, his wife, was very friendly and welcoming. I am definitely going to be ordering again Grazie mille! 😊😊😊

Tried Faluso pizza owing to the great reviews, what a letdown not cooked properly all doughy and chewy in the middle, same with the garlic bread.

Lovely experience at this traditional pizzeria I discovered. Chef was friendly and engaging while we watched him master our pizzas which were delicious! Nothing beats home baked, Thank you Faluso Pizzeria :-)

Pizzas here are quite good. The share pizza is definitely large! Value for money is great as the pizzas came delivered while still warm and delicious. I would definitely recommend for a nice delivery. Have not tried dining in.

Excellent authentic Italian pizza - as soon as you see the wood fired oven you know it's going to be good! We travelled a fair way to collect but was well worth it, good value for money, fast and friendly service too. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Wow. What a pizza. The vibe is so fab and groovy which is only added to by Emma, the super friendly member of staff. Pizza was like nothing else, I really can’t praise this place enough!

A colleague recommended this place for its Nutella pizza! I love to follow up on any and every recommendation and embraced my very first Nutella pizza tonight! What a treat and such a warm welcome too. I have made a pact to myself not to have pizza at home again!

We drove over from Walton to try the pizzas at Faluso and were not disappointed. The smell of garlic before we even got in the door was wonderful! Great choice of pizzas and they are cooked perfectly. Delicious fresh ingredients with crispy smokey bases. Lovely friendly people as well. We ate our pizzas on the beach as the sun was going down and it was a perfect end to a perfect day. I'd recommend Faluso to anyone and next time we're in the area we'll be definitely be back.

Pizza order taken quickly, delivery quick but when it arrived it seemed a bit wet but the big shock was the base was burnt. That doesn't add to the taste. I don't eat anything that is burnt. Its a shame but I wont be buying anymore from there.

Faluso Pizzeria, is as authentic as any pizza I have eaten in italy. I have only ever ordered for home delivery, so can't comment on the restaurant, but would definitely recommend try this authentic Italian pizzeria.

I have eaten pizza in Italy and this is hands down the best pizza I have had in this country. I am so glad that I live near enough to eat their food as the high street franchises are nothing compared to the care and attention paid to these authentic pizzas.

I’ve been coming here every week since I discovered it and Have never had pizza as good as this place. I’m moving away from the area next week and genuinely distraught I’ll be too far away to have it delivered.

Just had our first Faluso visit and wow! Just wow! Perfect food and service while we waited for it to be cooked. Made to feel very welcome with everyone chatting to us. Ordered 4 pizzas , 3 garlic breads and 2 Nutella pizza wraps and everything was perfect 👌 thank you very much and we will most certainly be your new regulars! Only got photos of the Nutella pizzas as everything else was snapped up too quickly for me to photograph! Perfect perfect perfect!

Great service and amazing food. I went with my friend Harry and we had the 1/2 metre pizza, was the best pizza i had in my life and i would go there again in a heart beat. The service was lovely and i loved the owner and the young lad serving me. Would recommend to my friends and family and anyone that loves good food and great service.

Lovely pizza and very nice wine. Went with my two young daughters, I wish this restaurant was on my high street. Not just a takeaway- they have a few tables too.

Have been to this restaurant many times over the years and always had a lovely tasty meal. Decided to get a take away this evening and it was god awful!!! The pizza bread was the same lovely base as it ever was, but the topping was very sparse with great swathes of no topping at all and totally bland, soggy and tasteless. The mozzarella had no flavour to it and the tomato sauce was just chopped watery tomatoes. No tomato puree so no flavour. The few mushrooms were tiny chopped tinned ones. Hardly any ham. Garlic bread with cheese? Whole sections without anything. So shocked. So sad that what was such a brilliant place can turn out to be so disappointing.

First time had a wood fired pizza and it was lovely. Recommend this place though if you want to eat in then get there when they open as do not do reservations and seating is limited. Very popular and fast friendly service

Firstly! Our first visit even though we only live around the corner, but won't be our last nice family business lovely food and atmosphere could not fault would highly recommend 😀

Faluso's is the definition of a hidden gem! Very small but punches huge character, the restaurant is quite tight and doesn't allow much room for larger groups, however has great atmosphere . Perfect for date night , it's casual but a little classy . The food tastes very clean, and the prices are quite respectable, I would highly recommended Faluso's over Piattos for Pizza. We had a takeaway, which was quick and accurate despite several topping changes, the only minor problem i'd say is that the opening times are not very flexible. TL:DR One of the best fancy pizzas around, opening hours limited .

After hearing, word of mouth how good this place was I though I'd give it a try, the pizza slices were cut in odd shapes, they was very tight with the toppings, and it was OK and that was it, tbh I'm from London and have eaten in much better small little local Italian restaurants, really struggling to find out why this place is so highly rated. Don't think the locals really no the difference.. Having said that I will try some different things and toppings In the future

A small and friendly pizza restaurant in an unassuming neighbourhood. The pizza was of exceptional quality. Very good dough, cooked in a wood oven. There's around 8 seats at the bar for eating-in, otherwise it's takeaway. I am keen to try the Nutella pizza next time! Very happy to find Faluso as I've just moved to the area from London.

Their pizzas may be nice but the stench smoke and soot are a health hazard that aggravates my son's asthma and covers everything in soot due to the damp freebe wood fuel they burn thank goodness it isn't open all day anymore

Now only does pizzas which are nice but not as good as ot used to be when you could eat in. Also unless it's changed you can only take away.

We had a takeaway Pizza from there and it was great just how we wanted it, the topping was perfect and very nice

Called in as takeaway and Orlando had also homemade bread for sale on the counter.we took some away with us . absolutely delicious.such good value too at two pounds .such a good idea .I don't think he has there all the time .but if you see it there .would highly recommend.takeaway wine good value too at seven pounds fifty

Glad to see Faluso has re opened, sadly only as a take away, on offer are the most amazing woodfired pizza and breads. licenced so if you fancy a cheeky bottle of wine

Sadly this lovely restaurant has now closed. It is a big loss to Holland on Sea. Hopefully someone else will come along and reopen it. It has a real pizza oven in it.

We come up every few weeks from London with my dad, and we ALWAYS come to his favourite Italian restaurant... and its mine as well. A proper family run business which you rarely see nowadays. The staff are so polite and the food is outstanding for a fraction of the price. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone.. I have seen these 1 star reviews and do wonder where some of these people get the time to write essays like that and think it's ok to try and ruin a decent family run business...

Don’t bother with Pizza Hut or Dominoes ever again - and get your pizza here. It is seriously the best pizza ever, fresh ingredients and cooked in the quickest of time in their pizza ovens. We love being able to have tasty pizza, at a really reasonable price, and would recommend to anyone - be it Take Away or Eat in!

Great food good service reasonable prices nice atmosphere

We did dine her when the restaurant first opened and enjoyed our meal but this is the first time we've been back since then. We've clearly been missing out!

Although reasonably local we only discovered this restaurant earlier this year and have now visited regularly. Small restaurant and always busy - even mid-week. Excellent food, reasonable prices. Try something different everytime we go. But my favourite has to be the baked aubergine! Can thoroughly recommend Faluso to anyone. Don't be put off by the negative reviews, we have never had a bad experience (apart from noisy customers on one occasion). This restaurant cannot be compared to Franco's which is a lot bigger and not particularly Italian and a whole lot more expensive.

Decor: very basic Food: mediocre Service: terrible Will not recommend to my worst enemy. Bad, even for clacton. Save your money and go to the donkey.

We decided to try Faluso on a Friday evening as a treat, we hadn't booked but as we were faorly early, 6.00 p.m. we got a table OK. The staff were very attentive and the tables were clean. Nice atmosphere with background music that was just right in volume.The Pizza are cooked in the traditional oven and you can see this from the main restaurant, at the front, more seats are at the rear too. Really lovely pizza and we were not rushed at all. The toilets are very clean and access to the restaurant is easy for those who may not be so mobile. They also do takeaways, and whilst busy that did not distract from our meal. We will go back for sure. No dedicted parking but the streets nearby are quiet.

Bruschetta was tiny as was the tomato and mozzarella salad which came with one small basil leaf! Pasta was too hard,I don't know who likes it al dente but I don't and have never been to an Italian that served it that way,you should be told about this. Pizza was good but the 20 inch isn't 20 inch round it's about 10 inches wide and 20 long,strange.Average food,prices higher than they should be.

We had a lovely meal in here, and found the dishes to be reasonably priced. Our grandson had a children's meal and chose a pizza which came up in the shape of a fish which was a bit different. For dessert I had an almond & chocolate tart from the specials board which was really yummy. The staff are very friendly and the service was good. As this is quite a small restaurant, at busy times it would probably be better to book a table.

We were on holiday staying at Walton on the Naze and found this restaurant from the internet search. Only just...

Awful over priced rude obnoxious avoid

Sadly I had high hopes having looked at the menu, our experince was not as expected. Having booked you would think to give a nicer table rather than offer it to a walk in, we sat in the corridor effectively and not offered any other table. I put it down to there being another booking however this was not the case. Ordered drinks the coke arrived with no ice in a glass. I think they expected us to use the water glass left on the table. The garlic bread was little short of nit nice, there seemed to be little or no actual garlic only garlic infused oil. It had no seasoning and was doughy (not crisp on the bottom) and the smallest olive portion of brined non flavour olives. Our starters were equally dissapointing, my misses calamari were pale and soggy as for my melanzane parmigiana was the poorest excuse of what I consider to be my favourite veggi dish ever!! Soggy aubergine and a tinny tasting tomato sauce (a sign the sauce had not been cooked long enough) Had two mouth fulls and had to pass. It was nited by the chef who took offence when I challenged his preparation of this great dish he defended it but I am still sure there was no frying of the aubos!! Our pizzas (wood oven) were in the words of Mary Berry had a soggy bottom. This should not be the case (even pizza hut don't achieve this) both pizzas were again bland and lack the flavour expected from fresh oven cooked traditional Italian pizza. I expect that this restaurant is busy with locals who have nothing to compare it to. However I hate Pizza Express yet sadly I would have had a better experince in this chain restaurant. The customer service needs a little attention and a burst of happiness as the attention to the guest was sadly over looked but what I can only imagen to be my upsetting the chef. Would suggest popping to tesco to ensure a crispy bottom and flavour packed pizza. Very disappointing!!

Had an excellent meal at Faluso last night. Food authentically Italian. Friendly staff. Relaxed ambience. I would suggest booking as it appears very popular on a Saturday night. And excellent value coming in at £20 less for three than a similar meal the night before at a chain Italian in Clacton. Will definitely go back next time we're in Holland-on-sea

Really enjoyable meal in excellent surroundings with good service. Probably the best lasagne we have ever tasted. A real find!
