The best restaurants in East of England

Great traditional pub vibe here. Staff and management treated me like a true local. Great choice of beers on tap, big range of drinks. Enjoyed my evening, looking forward to returning in the very near future. Its a big thumbs up, 5 Star!

First time visiting yesterday.Highly recommended. Proper old boozer. Friendly welcome from customers and staff alike.Had a nice pint of Oatmeal Stout.

Of the 10 to 15 "Indian" restaurants that have been within a 15 mile radius of this one, in the past 35 years, this is way, way the best - the variety on the menu, the diversity of flavours, the generous portions. the excellent value for money and diligent and friendly service . Nothing is too much trouble - we like a soft chapati and it always is! Sometimes these days the so-called "old favourites" can remind one of flock wallpapered dumps of yore - no chance of that here - the Madras is full af flavour and the Dansak laden with lentils to give the sauce great taste and body - alltogether great cooking in an elegant setting Veronica and Lindsay McGregor

The staff are fantastic and the food is delicious and really good quality, with so many options for food and drinks. They're very aware of and careful with allergens as well. The gluten free sandwiches and cakes are so good, you wouldn't know they were gluten free. The setting in the gardens is so beautiful and peaceful. Very dog friendly, our dogs love the pupsicle ice cream!

Cod & chips, sorry but my cod had no skin and was very dry chips ok but I left most of them my wife said hers was ok, service was good, staff pleasant, maybe just an off day, but I had to review this £24 spend I’m back at our chalet starving.

Very lively Portuguese/Brazilian restaurant and cafe. Very tasty food cooked to order. Good coffee and cakes in the morning 🌄 Excellent friendly service, thank you.

Wouldn’t eat at a place where whoever runs the business page spends all their time on social media trolling and insulting people. You can read several comments saying the same. It’s very bizarre behavior for a business.

Toppy on the prices poached eggs not runny. Coffee was not great. Busy and nice lay out lots of different nights like steak nights etc.

Lovely, quirky cafe with plenty for the children to do. Very reasonably priced, popped in for coffee and cake and spent the whole afternoon there. Ride on toys, Wendy house, books, tennis, delicious cakes and plenty on the menu for all ages. Very friendly staff and parking not a problem.

Lovely pub, took my parents who were visiting for Sunday lunch. Food was superb.

Esta es mi cafetería favorita en Cambridge. Es tranquilo (la mayoría de la gente no lo sabe todavía) , el café es el mejor que he tomado, y el personal es tan atento. Soy habitual y ellos conocen mi pedido y lo hacen exactamente como me gusta. En particular, Ali es tan amable y siempre pregunta cómo soy. La decoración es muy elegante y hace un gran lugar para trabajar a distancia.
