The best restaurants in East of England

Generous portions and tasty. Not really any atmosphere and those Christmas lights gave me a headache, don’t think you need that many lights flashing so much inside…

Just got back from the Red Lion in Stanstead Abbots. We had a delicious lunch. My friend and I both had the Christmas dinner. Everything was freshly cooked. Nothing frozen. The turkey was succulent and plenty of it. Roast potatoes were delicious with home made Yorkshire. I had the Xmas pudding my friend had the chocolate torte. Both were yummy 😋 a big shout out to Abbey who served us. She was polite and helpful. Will definitely come back 👍

Absolutely delicious desserts and the mocktails were really nice.

A nice cosy cafe with good food

Shocked and disgusted by this restaurant... The portion size was shocking for the amount paid and the staff did not care... Food is below average and customer service falls far below that also.

Lovely pub! All the staff are very welcoming and full of smiles. Large pub with lots of room with lots of weekly events! Food is very reasonably priced and is amazing, everything is always cooked to perfection and always served a decebt amount!! Highly recommended coming here

Love eating at this restaurant, just wish it was a bit closer to home. We shall just have to stay at the Imperial Hotel more often.

Nice coffee and bacon sandwich but the sandwich came with crisps and coleslaw, two items that i wouldn't put with a bacon sandwich sneaky feeling its just too put the price up, to seem trendy

Took over an hour to arrive even though it’s 10 min down the road, microwaved Mac and cheese was stuck together chewy and cold, chips were stale, burger was decent but bun was soggy. Ordered a drink didn’t arrive. My order came to £40 and didn’t want to give a small freebie. Bad experience. Go to an authentic Jamaican.
