Roost Café - Bar in Cambridge

Having some staff who serve customers would be a huge step forward. Then when they do appear observing the order in which customers arrived would be a normal step. Not worth the wait or poor service.

Lovely location and atmosphere. I love walking through the gardens to get to the Roost. Coffee always tastes strong and nice. The cheesecake I had today was perfect with my coffee. Friendly and professional staff. Would recommend💪🏻

This quiet cafe is in the gorgeous grounds of Jesus College and is open to the public. Just ask at the Porter's Lodge where Roost is and they will point the way.

This is the lovely friendly cafe in Jesus College. They are always welcoming to families of the choristers when we are before or after dropping them off at rehearsals. Very nice range of drinks, cakes and snacks, and lovely staff.

Really good omelet breakfast, way better than anything my "4-star" hotel has to offer. Comfortable seating inside and outside.

Coffee was good, staff were great, unfortunately not a menu to my liking, also limited choice.

Upon entering, reception asked if I was a member of the College to which I said no. They said they would only allow me in if I was meeting a member of the College. As a Cambridge local this was very unwelcoming.

Lovely open space, great non-alcoholic options, and friendly service.

The restaurant has a good view. I went on vacation in winter in January and stumbled upon this stylish coffee bar. The ingredients are very fresh and authentic local features. Ah, I miss my trip, and THE ROOST appetizer, the soup and wine.

Lovely cafe bar inside the college but open to well behaved local folk. Bar staff very welcoming. Bar area very conducive to relaxing time with peaceful views into the gardens.

Soy capuccino was delicious, as was the vegan brownie. Also affordable, both came to just over 3 pounds.
