Lovely, old, traditional pub. Proper beer with lovely outside space. Well worth a bike ride to find this tucked away gem.

Fabulous old pub dog friendly with a log fire. We had a very warm welcome from owner and the locals. Good range of beers and lagers, plus a stunning view out the front. It's pubs like these that deserve more visitors.

Was closed when I visited. Would be great to have opening hours on here.

What a fabulous discovery!Visited on Whit Monday, discovered by surprise.A real village pub!Had a fabulous time, nice people, nice staff.Small quiet and hidden away.Closed on Tuesdays.No website that I could find.Will return again and again!PS get lively on a Monday after 2200, when the Morrismen arrive!!!

The food excelled & wasn’t pub food at all!It was more like Michelin stared quality., & the young chef & team are excited to try new things . The puddings are a must !Well done to such a enthusiastic young team . Will be back very soon.

Una bonita zona de la frente para sentarse fuera y disfrutar del campo cuando el tiempo lo permite.Pub agradable, incluso desde otros clientes.Los perros son hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Siempre es una buena señal en lo que a mí respecta.Es un poquito vieja por dentro, pero las cosas buenas compensan este y espero en mi próxima visita. ¿Por qué no probarlo. . . . .

Mi esposa y yo hicimos un amigo nuestro para almuerzo y decidimos visitar este pub. No nos decepcionó. Está metido un muerto lane final pero vale la pena salir de caza. Está bien cuidado y sirve algunos magníficos cervezas. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos por el propietario y nada era demasiado problema. Tuvimos una comida excelente a un precio razonable. No podíamos haber deseado más. Pruébalo, no se sentirá defraudado y como nosotros, querrá volver.

Cogimos un amigo italiano aquí para comer el domingo. Encantador pub campo clásico. La comida era excelente y buen precio. Puede ser difícil conseguir un buen vegetariano Domingo almuerzo pero su asado estaba muy sabroso y la variedad de vegetales era perfecta. La variedad de cervezas es también muy bueno. Perfecto para un almuerzo o cena relajante, o simplemente un par de copas.

Put simply this is a great little country pub, run by nice people. The food is good honest fair and the beers are kept perfectly.... What's not to like? Worth a detour.

los nuevos propietarios Jolly Hotels en esta antigua casa pública tradicional apropiada! Estupenda cerveza Ale y muy bien cuidado por propietario. Buena relación calidad-precio Pub Grub y mucha.Gran comida de los domingos. Sin duda merece la pena conducir. un montón de charla de lugareños. Perros y niños muy bienvenido, que es una ventaja.

Un perro rural encantador pub agradable con una gran bienvenida y comida de primera clase. Teníamos intención de tener un postre, pero los excelentes platos principales estaban de tales proporciones que tendremos que guarde el placer de postres para nuestra próxima visita. cuencos de agua estaban disponibles para visitar a los perros. Encontramos este pub en la ruta y una delicia! gente realmente amable y propietarios, quienes nos recibieron con el perro. Acogedor fuego lo que le da al lugar un ambiente cálido y relajado. Pequeño pero principalmente casero menú, todo fresco por propietario. Los sabrosos bistecs...

If you are looking for "haute cuisine" you are in the wrong place.However if you want a good pint & a non pretentious meal look no further.This is what a PUB should be like,an eclectic mix of locals & visitors.Nobody minds if you have muddy boots & a wet dog.Well worth a visit .

Tucked away down a narrow lane, this small friendly pub has had a lot of TLC (not to mention money!) lavished on it but without spoiling its country-local atmosphere. A limited but well kept cellar compliments a small range of food (always a good sign in my estimation!) and with a good buzz of chat around the bar - without background music - we had a most pleasing lunchtime meal. It is a pub worth trying, and we will certainly be going back.

This is a fantastic local ... really good but simple food prepared by Gav and excellent value .. Since Gavin and Aimey took over Its popularity has grown and grown ... Food is served between 5.30pm and 8.30pm in the evening which is perfect if you want an early one, but Gavin will stretch these times if it is really busy.. Great atmosphere for a pub off the beaten track .. Well done the both of you ... Keep it up!!!!
