Just had an amazing bbq lunch at the three horse shoes at Duton hill! (Food in the shoes)What an amazing job Chris has done yet again. He really pulls it out the bag, every time. Glad we turned up early because they sold out by 1.30. Always worth booking before hand, Very well done chris.

We went to The Three Horseshoes for a few drinks and the food smelt so good that we stayed for dinner too. This is such a great traditional pub with lots of character the friendliest staff. We ordered the lamb curry which was absolutely beautiful and it was served with a delicious homemade naan bread. I will definitely be going back for dinner soon it really was superb.

Lovely venue, friendly people and fantastic food. Popped in for a Sunday lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The landlord and the restaurant manager were so lovely and really made us welcome but it was the food that was the star! The roasts were delicious and a great size. we will definitely come back again. Thanks for a lovely afternoon xx

Food quality is incredible. We’ve had a sit down meal at the pub and enjoyed so much that we enquired about an evening buffet at my wedding reception that was being planned nearby. Chris was brill and super laid back. He shared a few options and was flexible to a couple of changes, one which he’d not previously cooked - Arancini - at the request of my Italian husband. Wow. People are still talking about the arancini 3 weeks later! Everyone loved the variety of food, but it’s the taste and flavours that really impressed. Also not shy on amounts - it fed 15 hungry hungover people the next day too. Highly recommend passing through the pub to try Chris’s menu, and if you’re local: booking Chris in for your event. Just fab! Cheers, Kellie & Leo

Grey long haired bloke behind bar. Pretty appalling. Put fingers in glass when handling money and serving beer. Food generally greasy and disgusting. Stay away. !!in my view not clean.

Now owned by the family who have been managing it for the past 3 or 4 years who had already made improvements especially at the rear of the old building. Whilst only popping in for a quick couple of drinks on a Tuesday lunchtime, it was good to see a cycling club of over a dozen being catered for without having chosen their food in advance. Nice to see the external areas and tables being spring cleaned.

A rare find...a proper pub with character. Brilliant staff, brilliant deco and brilliant beer. Well worth a visit. Cash only is abit annoying. But just goes with the character of the pub

Old style drinkers pub with no food or machines (apart from quirky juke box). Regularly changing beers, well kept, and a place full of real characters. Very friendly pub.

If only it were open for longer. Unusual pub with a juke box, pool table, tractor seats to sit on at the bar, phone card collection on the bar ceiling, memorabilia galore including Butlins, Schweppes, jugs, clips, badges, coins, etc. Local beer served along with guests from further afield. Quizzes and music nights are a regular event. Check the timetable to be sure they are open. Friday lunchtimes econobeer prices once a well kept secret.

Made a reservation over the phone for table of 5. Arrived and stood at the door for 10 minutes ignored by at least 3 staff walking past. Eventually the lady behind the bar had to give one of the team
