Top notch fish n chips on a wild october day in Hemsby. Good quality food and decent portions. Well worth visit in my opinion.

Amazing friendly staff ,service was fantastic , food was lovely , hot & prompt . Only complaint was no bathroom facilities , had to go across to the pub to use facilities as public ones near by were closed all day.

Came to this establishment and was really impressed. From walking in got an amazing friendly welcome. It is a family run business and got told about the story of how the name Monty was used. These lads are so nice. Me and a friend were getting the small fish and chips and was surprised how big it actually was. The lads even threw on some extra chips on top as we said we some hungry hubby's waiting. The quality of fish was superb and tasty. Made fresh. You could eat in or take away. All looked clean and spotless. If we back again would definitely come back to Montys.

Friendly and happy atmosphere food was great and was even given a free sausage for the dog. Very clean place with seating in and out. Highly recommend. Will visit again

Visiting Hemsby with family for the day. Finished the day off with fish and chips and came across Monty's. We all had Cod and chips and was nice to be given the option of small, med, or large. Food was cooked fresh on ordering and was very nice and reasonably priced. There was plenty more choices on the menu also. Hot and cold drinks available. We ate outside as the weather was good, however there is plenty of seating inside. Customer service was excellent. Finished our day off in Hemsby perfectly.

We had two cod and chips, a fishcake and chips and a battered sausage and chips, and all of the food was delicious! Really speedy but fresh, and great value for money- the portions were definitely on the larger side which is fine by us! The staff were really lovely and friendly, and I would recommend this place to anyone

First visit of the summer and not disappointed. Fish was so fresh and lovely, battered to perfection and lovely chips. Friendly staff, very clean premises. Very reasonable prices. Will be back over the summer. Best place in Hemsby for fish and chips.

Came here during half term with some friends. We were hungry having just seen the seals at Horsey Gap. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Restaurant was warm, comfortable and clean. Couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Really, really disappointed with both experiences of Montys. They seem to struggle under the pressure when it gets busy as on both occasions I was there this week it was obvious they couldn't cope and this showed as their customer service skills were non existent....
