Nevermind going for a walk or having a salad to cure your mental health, come here instead. The chips, superb and consistently so. The service, delicious and always very quick and efficient which is just a god send when the hanger hits. 🙏🏼 Reasonably priced too, a chip shop after my own heart.

I've got chips a few times for lunch from here, and they have always been really nice.

Oh my lovely chip shop. Can you teach our chip shop how to batter. Crunchy and just how it should be. Along way from home but if passing not to be missed.

Although this lovely piece of fish was freshly cooked it was extremely overcooked and was disappointingly dry inside. The lady who took the order was wearing a mask, however the person cooking had his mask over his chin the entire time. The lady finished her shift and the man who took over had no mask at all. There was no screen between staff and customers. Not a good look in these covid times.

Absolutely awful! Found a white long hair in my food, and called them back to make a complaint as we drove off and were 20miles away from the shop. The lady who served us explained to come back so the manager could ‘examine’ the white hair! Pathetic!

This is our favourite chippy and we would give a 5* but for the fact they have put their price up again. Which by my reckoning is the 3rd time this year alone. If only my wages went up as quickly 🙁

Huge portions, good value, very tasty.

Very friendly and the food is great, haven't had a bad meal from here. Only thing I would say is that their board stating what they do needs to be updatex, as this will help them get more sales.

Awful,picked up some chips today around noon , they were almost inedible ... dry , tasteless and an awful texture as if they were reheated ..

There has been a fish and chip shop at this location for as long as I can remember. The current operation is the best since the original Chris' shop. Good quality fish and friendly service. Sometimes you have to wait for it to be freshly cooked but they do provide chairs for older customers like me.
